Latest version of Cortex is comfortable! This is the first time that I enjoy with beta programs! None of other betas gives me fun before.

there's a bug in digital vibrance
it work when I turn it on but when I try to turn it off and save it doesn't work
and same for "make adjustments" when I click it it does the opposite
like when I turn it off the screen will be so colorful
and I can't get it back and
my eyes are burning xD pls fix it ❤️

Thank you for being a beta tester of Razer Cortex 10 and for sharing your concern with us here.

Generally, the Digital Vibrance of your PC would be restored when you exit your game. However, it would not if Razer Cortex was shut down accidentally.

In such a case, please launch Razer Cortex, go to ‘GAME BOOSTER’> ‘BOOSTER PRIME’> ’MAKE ADJUSTMENTS’ and turn on the ‘MAKE ADJUSTMENTS’ feature at the top.

Then, click on the ‘REVERT’ icon of Hue, Brightness, Contrast, Digital Vibrance. After that, ensure that you do not click any button of 'CANCEL' or 'SAVE'.

Finally, please open your Task Manager > Processes to End Task of Razer Cortex.

Please feel free to let us know if this issue persists. We will fix this issue in our future update.

I wasn't able to connect with Ubisoft Connect platform, what's wrong? What settings did I miss?

In my browser, on the Ubisoft Connect dashboard there's a message:
"Ubisoft Connect is not available at the moment. Please try again later."

Regarding your issue, please first check the below information:

  • Ensure that the username/profile link you input is correct.
  • Ensure that your profile on that platform is set public.
  • Ensure that there are games in the library of that platform.
  • Ensure that your user username/avatar/settings are syncing successfully to your Unibsoft account https://account.ubisoft.com/ if you update your username/avatar/settings in the Ubisoft client.

If the issue persists, please feel free to let us know. A screenshot and Cortex logs always help us a lot when investigating this issue.

Is there a way to use the new cortex beta update without having "msedgewebview2" installed on my PC? This is something I'd prefer not to have on my computer and I didn't need it to run the last version of cortex prior to the beta update.

WebView2 is a necessary component to run Razer Cortex 10, if it is not installed, Razer Cortex will not launch properly. If you don't want to use WebView2, you have to roll back to Razer Cortex 9. However, we do not suggest doing so.

WebView2 is a necessary component to run Razer Cortex 10, if it is not installed, Razer Cortex will not launch properly. If you don't want to use WebView2, you have to roll back to Razer Cortex 9. However, we do not suggest doing.

I wish there was an option to disable the little HUD razer cortex shows when boosting. It interferes when using steam link.

After i give admin rights the cortex.exe and all the other cortex service's i found in the service-control-panel of win11 the FPS Panel runs fine at Valorant, but nothingto see in pubg!

In hurry i click update at the lower cortex option...

after reboot i got the old cortex again.
I installed the Beta again and now the autostart of cortex and synaps is cracked. reinstall dont helps
so i think i need to do a clean reinstall ;-(

when i close and open cortex again via the taskbar menu of Central it starts
synaps autostart i totaly bricked! but i can start it also via Central taskbar[/indent]

Well, sometimes I think about same opinion you posted.
I need to boost my PC with cortex when I render some tasks, but when the HUD cames out, the render speed goes quite low.

Did this occur before your reinstallation or after your reinstallation? If it occurred after your reinstallation, could you please share us with your Cortex logs for us to further investigate this issue?

Do you mean when you close and open Razer Cortex via the taskbar menu of Razer Central, it only starts Synapse autostart, but bricked, and Razer Cortex still does not start, am I right?

I have done some more test and noticed three more things that need some work:

  • I am not sure if this is specific to this game only, but Cortex insists that my copy of Control is from the Epic game store.

    I do not even have an account on Epic. I removed this version from Cortex. The only version of Control that is currently installed on my system is from Steam, but:

    According to Cortex, the game is not installed.
    Edit: So reinstalling Control and restarting Cortex did not fix it. As it is, I cannot play Control, that I own on Steam, with Cortex, what a shame...
  • Under the new game booster tab, in FPS there is this new option:

    This make little sense if quite a few games have one fps spike when starting them:

    In this case, the pop up will announce a max fps 389 that was only true for the 1st second of starting the game. It actually played at a modest 50 fps on average, so I think the spikes need to be filtered out or an option to show something more important like average fps or 1% lows should be added.
  • I noticed that games not found on platforms can be added manually, but only if they are installed on my computer. Seeing that Cortex displays my game library, I would like to add all my games to it, not just those that happen to be on my system at the moment. Please add this feature to Cortex as well.
  • Edit: I almost forgot this one. Cortex does not memorise its window dimension and position between reboots. Please change that.

This beta does not support valorant
I try Booter prime for valorant but the app opened windows "Updating game setting" and 30 minutes later the app was not complete

I restarted my PC as requested, however the FPS overlay doesn't show up, despite triggering the hotkey to turn the overlay on and off.

Could you please check whether Genshin Impact and its launcher are installed in the same folder? If they are not, please reinstall them in the same folder and launch the game with Razer Cortex processing in the background. Thus, the game can be added to Razer Cortex automatically.

Finally, make sure the FPS overlay is turned on via Razer Cortex > GAME BOOSTER > IN-GAME.
