We are pleased to announce the new and improved version of Razer Cortex PC, and we want you to be the first to take part in our beta program!



Razer Cortex PC 10 will feature a fresh new UI as well as even more features to enhance your gaming experience.

How to get Razer Cortex PC 10 on your Windows PC 10 & 11:


*Get Cortex PC 10 beta access from your existing installation of Razer Cortex PC 9.18.

What's new?

Besides the revamped UI, we have some new exciting features that will level up your game.

  • Updated look with easy to access tabs

    • Unified Game Library – Quickly launch your favorite games in one place

  • Connect to your favorite platforms to connect to your game library, track all your games and achievements

    • Game Platform Integrations – Connect to your favorite platforms like Steam, GOG, Origin, Ubisoft and Humble Bundle to view all your games and profiles on Cortex PC
    • View and Manage Game Data – View your game data from achievements, recent gameplay, game recommendations that matches your game type
    • In-Game Details – View and track FPS throughout your gameplay, with or without game boost enabled
    • Find Other Players – View other Cortex PC user's games and achievements who are playing the same games as you, join similar discord groups and play together

  • Enhanced PC information

    • My Rig – Now with even more details covering your rig’s individual components

We want to know what you think of the latest version of Cortex PC, do let us know if there are:

  • What you love and what you don’t about the new Cortex PC
  • Stuff that's not working or any bugs
  • Stuff that could be done better (don't forget to suggest how)
  • Stuff that looks odd or doesn't make sense to you
  • Crashes (try to explain what happened up to the moment the app crashed)

Cortex games nice one but hard to find a perfect squad

since 3 or 4 days game booster (speed up) causes Pubg game crash's without a error msg from pubg.
the main service crash's (+- 3-5 min after start of the match) and the red marked service ned to be killed via taskmanager before i can restart pubg

the only thing change at my system ist a xfx RX 5700 XT -> Sapphire RX 6800 Puls OC+

I already do a radeon driver - clean reinstall

When using Cortex games get unplayable. Instead of boosting my FPS, i get frame drops going down to 4 FPS or even lower until I exit Cortex.

It would be great if you could help us with some information to isolate the concern:

  • Could you please provide us with your Razer Cortex logs for us to further investigate this issue? Here is a simple guide: https://mysupport.razer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/1685. For security reasons, please share your logs with us via PM.
  • Could you please let us know which game you were playing when this issue occurred? Does Razer Cortex make FPS drop in every game or just certain games?

Well, Razer Cortex is capable of closing all the processes...

It just can't run the damn game, yay.

I tried to run Dying Light (The first one) Through Razer Cortex (A Game that was on my steam account), it closes everything, says that it liberated almost 3gb of RAM, aaaaaaaaand nothing.

The same happens with my Uplay games and yada yada.

Edit: The game finally opened, it took so long that I actually forgot about it.

For the sake of explaining better, I tried to launch the game around 9pm (Lisbon time), the game only launched now, 12am (Lisbon time), so it has been 3 hours between trying to launch a game using the beta thing and the game actually opening.

How about turn off the auto boost?
That feature makes coretex to activate game booster automatically.

So, if you wanna play game without cortex, just turn off auto boost. It's on left side of "Boost now" button.

As a Razer Cortex user myself, I understand how frustrating this situation is for you. But not to worry, I will try my best to help you out.

As @samuel2050 suggested, could you please disable the Auto-Boost feature in Razer Cortex > GAME BOOSTER > Auto-Boost, and launch your game from Razer Cortex to see whether this issue is fixed?

For us to further investigate this issue and determine the correct resolution, it would be great if you could provide us with your Razer Cortex logs.

I'm sorry, but there's a problem with this. If we just kill onedrive processes, it could cause some error with online files. (I lost some of my files when I tried it.) So, I don't recommend that method.

Oh I see, sad to see how much microsoft likes to force some processes on users, thankss for the heads up!

Reporting a couple of issues here.

1. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 will not launch with Cortex running.

2. When I went to the feedback page in Cortex, my feedback on the above would not submit due to a lost internet connection. This is happening even though I am connected to wi-fi.

Thank you for participating in our beta program. The FPS overlay will not show in games with anti-cheat software. CS: GO has anti-cheat software. The in-game features are unavailable for this game.

Will there in the future be an option for more games in booster prime. It works really really well, i get major fps boosts when I use this on Valorant or Paladins. I would love to see it implemented in ubisoft games too (known for being badly optimized). Would also love to see it on COD and CSgo

Hey there!

Yes. The newest version of Razer Cortex v10.0.244.0 has resolved the FPS track issue. The FPS overlay will not show in-game for some games, but Razer Cortex can generate the FPS chart when you exit the game. Please update your Razer Cortex to the latest version and see whether it works for you.

We are also trying to fix the FPS display issue. We will let our users know when we resolve it.
