Razer Blade 15 2021- Touchscreen Driver

Usually it should be updated through windows update. Try run this troubleshooting, if you did already maybe try factory reset to see if it’s software or hardware issue.

I ran the windows update and that troubleshooting. Still doesn’t seem to be the correct driver onboard. 

I’ve been having the same problem with mine! i have the same model and it’s driving me nuts! it doesn’t even recognize that the driver is there anymore and there hasn’t been any physical damage to my laptop ever. I’ve tried all of the troubleshooting steps listed including factory resetting it and upgrading to windows 11 which im not a fan of and nothing works. Does anyone have the touchscreen driver file that we can download?

I have started to have the same issue lately. I have tried factory resetting twice. no use. tried uninstalling and factory resetting. no use. Tried disabling and enabling as well. No change. The issue is persistent. Please help.

I have the same issue on my Razer Blade 15 mid-2021, 4k OLED - touchscreen stopped working and there is no driver for touchscreen in Device Manager (I think it started after Windows 11 upgrade). Is there anywhere the driver can be downloaded from?

I also have this exact issue. Running Blade 15 advanced model (mid 2021) Rz09-0409 with Windows 11 home 64-bit (10.0, 22631).

As much money as we’ve spent on these laptops, i think it's Ludacris that they don't have a solution for this and refuse to provide support. This is clearly a common issue, and they need to do better.  This has been horrible.

So, there seems to be a design flaw with this model - I havent had a working touchscreen in over a year and I have given up trying to make it work.  Razer support followed the standard “reset your PC” - which I did, just to case - I mean, you never know.   

Of course, it didnt resolve it.

Whats odd is that before it went fully, It would work “at times”.  The last time it was working, I think it was about a day or so - I thought, this is great!  Its working well again.  The next day, it was back to not working….   Before it failing completely, I had this a few time - working, not working, working, etc…   There was no pattern / etc.  Just random working.

Device manager doesnt show the touchscreen - and even under hidden items it’s missing.  When the last failure happened, I tried to delete the driver in the hopes it would reinstall and magically work - well, it didnt install, so it really does seem like a hardware issue.  Windows simply doesnt see the touch controller - but why?  Cable / LCD / Touchscreen Overlay, Motherboard, etc...

I’m all for replacing some parts - It could be the cable?  it could be the LCD/Touch Portion, or worst case - the motherboard.  The issue is that I cant get any answer from Razer or any forum on what parts I could try to replace and where to get them.  The cable and LCD are things I would try - The motherboard isnt cheap at all, so Im not sure I would “try” that as a fix unless I was 90%+ sure it would work.

If anyone readaing this has any idea what part #’s I could try to replace the cable and LCD/Touchscreen - please let me know :)
