I have the same issue 😕
Same Problem, other softwares like OBS, XSplit or Zoom work for me. But it bothers me that i can't fine tune the camera and the lighting through Synapse!

picture in german, but same problem.
.
Just unpacked and installed... Same issue.
Same problem here. I wanted to change the lighting on my Kiyo today, but when I opened Synapse, the exact same thing happened to me. Plz let me know if someone finds a solution

Hey everyone! Thanks for posting your Razer Synapse 3.0 and Kiiyo's behavior here. Can you use other camera apps, or conference software such as Skype, Zoom, Slack, Discord, OBS, etc.? Please perform the following:

a. Please check your camera settings under Windows 10 mic, camera, and privacy settings and determine which apps use the Razer Kiyo.
b. Send me your Razer Synapse 3.0 logs by following the steps here.

Save the compressed files via Google Drive or to any online drive account then paste the link in your PM so I can forward it to our Support Team. Let' continue from there.

a) can use it just fine in other apps, settings are like always and wont even work with synapse when not in use by any other app. in synapse when i click on kiyo entire synapse crashes also if i hover over the kiyo on the symbol for synapse in task bar it doesnt show the name of my kiyo profile and when clicked to usually bring synapse up it also crashes.
b) i DMd you my logs. Hope they help sorting this out fast

My OBS (twitch streaming software) brought up the controls, and I was able to recenter. It's roundabout and I'm SOL if MS Teams decides to reset my camera settings, but at least it's not staring at the wall for now. Hopefully Razer fixes this soon (and I don't have to deal with a POS $20 webcam).

same tbh... like i love my razer setup but having to work around like this is very upsetting... i mean the kiyo had enough issues as is for me with whenever the drivers updated it wouldnt be recognized as kiyo anymore and i had to roll back drivers... didnt mind that too much tho since like i just supressed them from updateing... but now having to pull up obs to control it is truely upsetting

u can pull up pan control in either skype or streamlabs is all i recommend rn (since new cam costs money and this a free fix basically)

I'm having the same issue. My camera is stuck at maximum left pan, with no controls. This only started happening yesterday, and it seems that a lot of other people suffered the same issue about the same time. Razer broke something with the latest update. If they don't fix it within the next day or two, I'll have to replace my webcam (I need one for work), and you can bet that it WON'T be a Razer.

same here i thought it was the fault of my new usb hub and then i found this thread soooo yeaaaaah at least that calms my mind bout my hardware but this still is bs... for all that wanna change focus and such tho heres a tip until razer fixes this: go to Skype or Streamlabs OBS that lets u acess the Camera setting as well.
Same issue
Was working the other day, and had to pull my pc apart due to getting a new case and gpu. Plugged everything back in and now experiencing this.
Hey thanks @Arkenup I hope this gets fixed soon will you let us know what they tell you?
I have contacted email support. After sending a few reports and log files from windows synapse etc, I finally got this message :

Maybe some razer coders will finally do something for the obviously bugged software ....
Just chiming in to say I've been experiencing the same. First time using the Kiyo and can't access the software at all.
Me too! Just happened today. Was working fine for past few months since I bought it. Sucks! I'm going to buy a Logitech. Can't waste time on buggy software. Razer support, are you paying attention? This is your fault!
Same it went nuts for me today in fact.
I've been having the same issue as well.
Same issue here, I'm able to crop the webcam in OBS as a sort of pseudo-zoom, but I need the settings to work for other apps.
Also any windows camera control including tilt, pan, or zoom ect does not work at all when I try to adjust using windows settings. It worked fine before when Synapse wasn't giving me this error.
Same issue. Can't get a new camera working.
Same Issue. New today. Worked for a bit, was playing with settings. Went back into the software and got this message.
Same issue......
