Dear Razer and the community :) I love Razer products and slowly but surely I am getting more and more products. While I love Razer products, there are 2 things that I would like to see when it comes to the Razer Chroma control. I love the Chroma Visualizer mode and I use it all the time, but to me it could be better. What I would like to see is razer Chroma Visualizer being as advanced as the Hue Sync App. . This video shows two profiles. First one where it practically does what the chroma visualizer does now, though with Hue Sync App there is more control when it comes to colours. The second profile shown in that video is a profile where the LED's light up depending on what is being shown on the screen and the intensity is determined by the sound intensity (I think). . This video would show that even better, but this uses a special box from Hue whereas the first video is purely software. I know Razer has some form of integration with hue already, though as of right now, I don't ha
It looks like the LIFX Z or Yeelight 1S Light strip seem to be the cheapest. There's the HUE strips and Twinkly lights but they're much more expensive. Anything I'm missing?
I have seen several articles published in hardware journals that mention the new Razer Chroma Addressable RGB Controller. As my ASUS P9X79 motherboard lacks RGB headers, I am eager to add A-RGB functionality to my build. While the installation manual is on the Razer website, I cannot locate the actual device. I also see that Best Buy lists the device, but it is "Out of Stock". >> Does anyone know when the Razer Chroma Addressable RGB Controller is slated for actual availability? >> Does anyone know if the device will support A-RGB control of the A-RGB LEDs on the new GeForce RTX 3080/3090 cards such as the ASUS STRIX or EVGA FTW? Thanks!
So, I have a couple of LIFx bulbs and was able to use the connector program to control them with chroma studio. However, they are all a single object in studio. How do I go about separating each bulb into a different object? I thought the "zone 1, 2, 3, 4" thing in the connector program would do it, but no such luck.
I personally use Youtube Music and Opera GX. I know that in Opera GX there is a built in visualizer through Razer, but in Razer Synapse, they have another visualizer feature that I personally think looks better. I do not want to have the visualizer on all the time but only while listening to music in Opera GX. I have tried linking the file in which Opera GX is but nothing works. Please help me set this up. Thanks!
Hello my friends, I would like to set up a PC with Razer Chroma lighting. The Lian Li PC-O11 Dynamic Razer Edition would be interesting. But since the soon to be released ASRock B550 motherboard with the Razer Chroma Lighting is too expensive for me, I would like to take a cheaper one, which still supports Razer Chroma Support with all effects. And what if I want to control my memory, case fan and water cooling with Razer Chroma and is ARGB lighting or is normal RGB lighting enough? Thanks for answers
I absolutely love my razer ornata chroma keyboard
Will this work to power RGB lights that I want to attach to the underside of my desk? My Current motherboard does not have addressable headers, can it be all controlled via a standard usb port with a mini usb connector to the controller ? Please offer advise on if this is possible and how to. Thanks
First of, my deepest gratitude to Razer who have enginereed the Blade 15, what a masterpiece. I am no gamer at all. I was looking for a high performance laptop for video and music production. I got the Razer Blade 15 advanced 2020 edition and wow.. I'm very impressed. It runs Studio One and Davinci Resolve flawlessly. The trackpad is awesome. I could go on and on, but there is ond thing that bugs me and it should not be a major thing to implement, I believe. Since I use a lot of shortcuts in my creative work, I would love to have the ability to press the shift-key for example and program so that all "shift + ..." lit up. I cannot get this to work in Chroma and I belive this is simply not possible, but I would gladly be wrong. This should merely be a software-thing and I believe this feature is already developed, because the FN-key does this exactly. It triggers some keys to turn dark and others to light up. Any one else who would appreciate this feature? Is this something Razer wo
It would be really awesome if I could always have my charging dock display the mouse battery charge by color coding it. While that is available as a quick effect it will then show battery percentage on all of my devices. I would like it if I could get this as a layer in Chroma Studio so I can define what shows battery percentage. I hope you guys consider implementing my idea. With the recent push to more wireless products this would be a neat thing to have.
So the main problem with chroma connect is.... Some effects like Wave or wheel aren't RGB, and the whole connected device is one colour at a time, since my System only uses my Motherboard RGB which is Asrock, when I use my Chroma profiles on synapse, it changes like a 4 pin RGB would, statically, even though it's entirely possible to use the ARGB functionalities, so I'd like if ARGB features would be implemented for Chroma Connect devices
I just checked out this feature and I love it. I mapped my macro keys on my Blackwidow Chroma v2 as a vertical audio visualiser using it, although there are certain things I'd really like: 1. Select the audio device
Even if this isn't per-key (just one device for any preset), it would still be incredibly useful for people who use multiple sound outputs or software like Voicemeeter
2. Select Input devices
Being able to link this to my microphone input would probably make this one of my favourite things about chroma. Having an audio meter monitoring mic levels would not only look incredibly cool, but be genuinely useful for people like me who adjust their mic volume and need to make sure it's at a good level
Overall this feature is definitely awesome, but it's also definitely not perfect, but these improvements would absolutely bring it to the next level.
i've been getting into the chroma RGB customization for world of warcraft, and i gotta say the synapse studio UI is brilliant my one suggestion is it would be fantastic to have specific effect duration timing for example, a spell could have a 1 minute cooldown, if you assigned that key to light up again after 1 minute, that would be so amazing another example, if you have a buff that lasts 30 minutes, you could set one of the keys as a "timer key" to go dim when the buff runs out it would also be great if you could tie such key-based timers to another non-keyboard peripheral, such as the Razer Nommo Chroma LEDs (and even more so if each speaker could have its own timer), or the Chroma Base Station\\Firefly v2 what does everyone else think? do you like this suggestion!?
Please add custom lighting chroma color for keys when hypershift is on, like F9 F10 F11 F12 pause/break lights. This would be a great feature to show us which hypershift keys has macro settings enabled. Also, what is the point of advertising a whole second layer of keys on a backlit keyboard, if those keys can't be lit? Come on, Razer.
I think the Razer community would really love and appreciate it if Razer would just an option to trigger an effect on the entire keyboard with the push of one specific key on the device. Currently there is no way to do this which is extremely disappointing. If this was an option, people could make their own effects for games. For example, let me configure my chroma lighting so that whenever I press "Q" on my keyboard, a ripple effect goes across my entire keyboard. This would make it so that whenever I press "Q" to throw a grenade in a game, it would trigger a ripple effect on the keyboard.
Hey guys, New-ish user here, just really getting into the Razer ecosystem. Recently set up a brand new rig, with full RBG setup. Specs for MB: -MSI MPG Z390 GAMING EDGE AC LGA 1151 (300 Series) Intel Z390 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 ATX Intel Motherboard I have installed Dragon Center, so I can use the APIs to sync back into Chroma. Things were going great for a while, but within the last week or two, the Corsair sticks have started randomly blinking on and off - a lot. One will light up, the others turn off - back and forth, constantly. Starts to hurt my eyes after a while, seeing them flashing on and off. I've tried a few things so far, from uninstalling/reinstalling dragon center, to powering off the PC, killing the power supply, turning on the PC to kill all power, then power supply on and bootup. Every time Razer Chroma loads up, the ram starts blinking out of control again. Does anyone have any ideas of things I can try? Oddly, it works fairly normally when playing Overwatc
I was wondering if there was a way to get custom effects to play on a timeline. So if I wanted to play the music (or not, just play a sequence) an effect would play in a predetermined way instead of the effect basing what to light up on the volume and pitch of the music like it already does in the studio and visualizer apps.
yeah so i have wallpaper engine and a new huntsman and the wallpaper looks sick but when i play a game razer chroma focuses the wallpaper and not the chroma supported game and i was wondering if there is any fix to getting the focus to work but if not can someone tell me how to replicate or get the chroma profile for this one particular wallpaper https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2183937834
Mouse has locked up AGAIN while playing TF2. I checked the Event Viewer and the Razer Chroma SDK Server (service) has been crashing every 5 minutes over and over again, all day, every day. RzSDKServer.exe - ucrtbase.dll - Event ID: 1000 Razer Chroma SDK Server - Service Control Manager - Event ID: 7031 Synapse 3 - 3.5.1030.101917 Mamba Elite with Ambient Awareness and Audio Meter in Chroma Studio W10 64-bit Nvidia GTX 1650 457.09
I am planning to build a PC, with as little native LEDs as possible, around a MSI X570 Tomahawk mobo (the only component with LEDs). I'd like to buy a Razor BlackWidow (V3 or Elite) with this PC and to add some ARGB to the case, to light the components. The case will be a Phanteks P600S, so it seems only natural to use their Digital-RGB system (thinking of 3 Halos fan-rings and some Neon led-strips). Phanteks D-RGB is compatible with Razor Chroma and MSI Mystic Lights. So, I should be able to control at least the keyboard and D-RGB from Razor Chroma. But my Phanteks D-RGB is still connected to the JRAINBOW header(s) of my MSI mobo, which has it's own LEDs. Question 1: can Chroma connect with the MSI mobo LEDs? Question 2: or do I still need MSI Mystic Lights in this setup? Question 3: and if I do: could I program my Razor's LEDs with MSI Mystic Lights? Question 4: or, should I have both programs and just use MSI Mystic Lights for the Mobo LEDs? I just really want to be able to contro
My firefly v2 I just bought doesn't seem to work under chroma sdk. Is it supported?
For the past 3 days I've had some trouble with my Kraken's RGB where it stays pitch black only with Chroma Studio, not with any other device or application, but fixed it and decided to share it if someone else has this problem, just head to modules, uninstall Chroma Studio and keep the effects if you want to, then reinstall it and it works perfectly fine again.
Hi, Since I built my PC in August, visualiser has been able to control all my Razer peripherals, Lian Li Dynamic chassis and Thermaltake fans installed in my case. Since an upgrade about a week ago, the fans do not work with visualiser, yet they still work in chroma studio? Everything else works as before? I have uninstalled and reinstalled every piece of software, so any ideas what’s broken in the updated version of Synapse? thanks for any ideas.
Hey! I can't seem to get the timing right on my custom effects that I want. Is there anybody here that could be kind to help me with the timing of the wave effect? I want the white wave to match up on both sides to make it look like it bounces off the sides of my keyboard, and I can only manage to match up the left side. Here is a video of how it looks right now: So what I need help with, is the timing on the right side to make the wave continuously moving in both directions.
Can chroma receive triggers from lines of text in a log file? I want to control my lighting based off lines of text entered into a log file as I play a game.
