thinkMediumCarmine716If something is not official supported there is no way that device will work :P No drivers, no layout etc.
okay, I can understand, but she have to run synapse 3 with the same mouse, so there are possibly some tricks
If this post help you give a like :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

NotYourIngenueI too have the mamba chroma and this is very annoying
The fact that the Mamba TE is supported, but the "regular" Mamba isn't is downright confusing. Half my devices, which are all fairly new product lines, aren't supported. Blackwidow TE Chroma Stealth - Supported Firefly Chroma - Supported Tiamat 7.1v2 - Not supported Mamba Chroma - Not supported (either wired or wireless)

Well after waiting so long for synapse 3 support for my Mamba wireless mouse(flagship mouse?) so that I could use my fireflymouse mat along with my Razer base station chroma all on synapse three rather than having to use both 2 & 3.
I retired all of them.
Now giving my support to Steelseries with my new steelseries 650 rival wireless mouse sat on a Steelseries Prism xl rgb mat.
Never again will I support Razer products.
Oh & the very fact I will no longer have to login to Razer for my devices to run..cloud based bullshit.. fill me with joy.
Razer dropped the ball by not supporting its high end & high cost products such as the Mamba Wireless & lost a long time supporter/customer in the process.
You have to wonder how many other customers have also walked away from Razer due to its poor support?

Just wondering, in one thread in Razer Insider I saw a Razer Staff saying that old devices like Razer Tiamat 7.1V2 will not be added to Razer Synapse 3 but another Razer Staff say it will, they are working on it. I wonder who's correct, I am confused. But I certainly hope that they can add it to Razer Synapse 3, such an expensive earphone which requires additional sound card which most conventional laptop cannot support by itself and hard to find replacement earphone cushion.

Sorry to say you cant rely on the accuracy/honesty on some of the posts by Razer support staff.
After waiting sooooo long for the support of my former multiple Razer high cost to be supported by just one single version of Synapse I decided to ditch the lot for Steelseries products, as mentioned in my above post #155.
I was initially told to wait for Synapse 3 support for my Mamba wireless mouse( the high cost one with the separate charging dock, only to be told by another support staff member it was never going to happen.
Oh & by the way have also purchased a Steelseries 840 wireless headset...again to replace a Razer product.
So in just a matter of just days I have three new Steelseries products that have replaced Razer devices.
Guess what no issues with my Quality Steelseries products, all working exactly as expected, no bloatware & no cloud based bullshit settings with any of them.
There are many quality products from other manufacturers not just Steelseries, so when you consider your next purchase look at everything just not Razer as they really don't care about you as an ongoing customer.

Well, I just upgraded my Naga 2014 to the Naga Trinity and I love the mouse itself, however, it is my first device that uses Synapse 3. I don't mind Synapse 3, though it will take some getting used to. What I do mind is having to have both Synapse 3 and Synapse 2 running for all my devices and even then they are not synced together. I saw in another forum a user named RazerTheFiend who claims to be the product manager for Synapse. This person claims there are no updates in the pipeline to migrate Synapse 2 devices to Synapse 3 and all legacy device support work has been suspended. This means we are stuck with running two different programs to get our devices working properly while competitors only need one. What a poor customer experience. I've used only Razer products since 2012 when I got my Naga 2012, but I think it is time for me to see what Corsair is up to. They at least know how to design software.

Unfortunately loking through the forums here & elsewhere Razer really dont seem to care about long term customers.
They just hope you will buy their new products & then expect you to put up with running either two versions of Synapse software & with all its limitations & issues & mess withhout question.
With a number of great alternative products now available & with users becoming far better informed with the extensive online reviews & poor Razer supported software that will be there downfall....not the hardware.
Great Hardware paired with poor software support requiring the running of two synapse versions will never be acceptable in todays market.
Wonder if senior management are fully aware of the lost sales & anti Razer sentiment occuring with their appaling support of what was a loyal customer base?

I recently purchased the Kraken 7.1 V2 Headset and when I connected it to the computer I was disappointed because there is no compatibility with Synapse 3, different from other peripherals. Does anyone know if there will be compatibility with the mentioned peripheral?

Unfortunately you are a yet another Razer customer let down by poor software support....the hardware might meet your requirements but dont hold your breath on having all your razer peripherals running under one version of Synapse.
Oh & if your lucky to get a reply here from an official Razer team member suggesting you just wait for future support I would strongly suggest you look at returning the headset for a refund if at all possible.
I waited more than twelve months for the non existent Synapse three support of all of my expensive Razer products, before ditching the lot for Steelseries range of products...& never looked back.

eduardo_rovaniI am sorry to tell you that your headphone is not supported by Synapse 3.0. If what the Razer staff said that products that are not included in Synapse 3.0, they won't ever be. I suggest you return it and exchange it with Razer Nari Essential or Razer Nari as it is the only Razer Synapse 3.0 supported product if you care about having chroma synced and you like Razer's bright RGB. I am still waiting for my Synapse 3.0 suggestion to be considered by the Razer software team which can be found in the forum Synapse section.

important thing : synapse 2 have issues with synapse 3 running I formated my pc and reinstalled them even have 2 separate computers and different motherboards both have issues if you ran synapse 3 with 2 , specially in lightning (chroma settings )
what annoyed me is new products from razer that did release after synapse didn't get support till now in synapse 3 and other low end products did. example Tiamait 7.1 v2 vs naga chroma , so naga chroma have support in synapse 3 but tiamait 7.1 v2 don't and naga epic chroma also Don't have synapse 3 support which should be considered as higher grade Teir compared to normal naga chroma.
Razer orbweaver chroma vs Razer tartarus V2 which cost less than orbweaver

1988fidoYa, I felt weird regarding this case too. The mainstream headphone are also not supported in Razer Synapse 3.0 such as Kraken. Only Razer Nari series are supported. So weird.

kennethyhaPoint of difference: IIRC, the Razer staff has said that adding legacy devices to Razer Synapse 3 has stopped for now while they concentrate on working on the Synapse 3 software itself. I don't recall a single mention of legacy devices that aren't currently supported having ZERO support on the software in the future. It's an important distinction.

Please dont try & sugar coat the real issue here, we all know that there have been statements by Razer staff that certain legacy hardware will never, i repeat never be supported by Synapse three, ever.
This happened to me after waiting twelve months for so called upcoming sysnapse 3 support for the Mamba wireless 2015 mouse that never occured, even though initially I was told by Razer it would happen.
It seems you must check if your prospective new Razer product is already synapse 3 supported prior to purchase if you want to protect yourself from being burnt like so many others.
Far better off looking to purchase alternative products from manufacturers that only require one software package that takes care of all of your same manufactured gaming accessories.....I went from the dark side to Steelseries , however I am sure there are other suppliers capable of meeting your needs too...just not Razer!

PT.SingerI don't think you got the point. we are not talking about just legacy old products we talking about some razer products that even released after synapse 3 and considered as higher tier product than others but not in synapse 3 and its been years now, also we love razer products we want to use them and want them on synapse 3 this is why we are upset and commenting on this thread because we got no other solution or forums that care about our needs except this one. something like tiamait 7.1 v2 is not a legacy product this is not kraken 1 or the original Razer naga this is a new headset that came after the release of synapse 3 + it have chroma so it should be showing in synapse 3 , something like orbweaver which is weird coz the razer tartarus v2 is supported in synapse 3. what we want is to have only 1 software from razer that works without issues stable supporting all our razer products at least we should see 2-4 devices added every year but we barley even see 1 device being added.

1988fidoYou definitely missed my point. I was specifically responding to the assertion that Razer staff had said that there would be no support for any legacy devices in the future. I said that I recalled the message sent by Razer staff differently - that it had been put on hold while they work on the Synapse 3 software itself. I said nothing about other products - only responded to that particular assertion.
I don't think you got the point.

1988fidoI agree with you. Razer Tiamat 7.1V2 should be supported by Razer Synapse 3.0 since it is such an expensive product and most importantly, it comes with chroma. I am not a software developer so I certainly do not know whether it is possible to port it in or not. Any Razer Software team mind to clarify this issue? Possible or Impossible? Will be done or Will not be done? Thank you!

aeroSHELLPaleCarmine400Thanks for all the responses from the forum members, but it would be interesting an official positioning of Razer on the subject. Unfortunately at the moment I can not undo more of the product by means of a return, I would have to sell it. Using Razer products in Brazil is for a few due to the high cost, including the brand's input equipment and the minimum expected of the product is that it is functional and meets expectations.

well, between the lack of possible support for my ouroborus, and the lack of anything similar in design. I just dont see anything worth getting when this mouse gives up the ghost

D_LunizYES! Do you understand how rare it is to find another owner of the Ouroboros! Sure I went through 3 of these when they came out at Best Buy, yes I have replaced the battery because of the blinking light when you try to charge, and of course they don't sell mouse feet for this, why? because what mouse needs 6 feet? Inconceivable! I have been on Synapse 2 for years, just got an update today actually. On version 2.21, for....well shoot, I lost count how many months. I think it might be years now. Either way, my Ouroboros and Ornata are doing good. Work well. That's all I care about.

There is only one truly left-handed Razer mouse - the old Deathadder Left-Handed Edition. It would be *really* great if Razer Synapse 3 could support this device as there don't seem to be any other truly left-handed mice coming...
