[SOLVED]Can't log into Razer Synapse since latest update


Like the title says. I booted my PC and Synapse launches at start up. It asked me to sign in with my password, which is usually automatic, so I figured that it had been updated. Tried to log in but I can't seem to remember my password. No biggie.. Just changed it. Worked like expected. But I still can't log in. I just get the message: "There was an unexpected error. Please reload the page and try again".

I've tried restarting the app. Even tried rebooting my PC. But nothing works. Has anyone else experienced the same issue? Does anyone know how to resolve it? Do I need to reinstall the app completely?
Razer don't seem to offer chat support for software issues..

Razer Central is on v. 7.3.19.118
Razer Synapse is on v. 3.4.630.62510

EDIT: I no longer have the issue. I just waited a bit and it worked. I've posted my theory down below. But my suggestion is really to just wait a bit if you're still having problems with logging in.

Same problem here, after the update can't login.

Btw it's ridiculus that we can't enter device settings without logging in....
I have the exact same issue.
It worked fine today until I was away for a bit and shut down my PC. When I came back I had the exact same problem with not being able to login to Synapse.
Same build as you, same issue. Restarting did nothing, nor did total shut down. "An unexpected error has occured, please reload the page and try again" Still not logging in. ¯\\_(ツ)_/¯

I'm switching permanently to the Guest account.
same issue here. this is a freshly built pc and windows 10 install. everything has worked fine for weeks, until this morning. I am now unable to login to Razer Central. my credentials are fine, as I am able to login to the website/forum. suggestions welcome. a full uninstall and reinstall would be ridiculous, so I am hoping for a more thoughtful suggestion....
Okay, I have no idea what you wizards did. But I just randomly tried again and it worked. :>
Theory: Did we clog the servers for Razer Central once it updated? In any case I suggest you try again in a while if you're still having issues.
In case someone else is wondering why is unable to login to Synapse, just do a fkin uninstall => repair option. It'll re-validate files. Much quicker than waiting for a fix.
PS: Binding are preserved after repair.

so even thou razer synapse 3 was working perfectly last night , today i cant seem to log in at all , tried repair option and nothing still wont allow me to log in , wont even open the log in screen just a blank black screen

I still have this issue.... Please help.
I uninstalled Razer Synapse version 3.4.1015.100206. Then reinstalled it, and then it let me log back in, days after it kept telling me that I don't know my password. great
