I have contacted support and after going through all the useless troubleshooting they have escalated my case.
"Hi,

Great day! Thank you for the response. We already forwarded this case to our relevant team and once we have an update for you, we will keep you posted as soon as possible. Thank you for extending your patience with us."
Hopefully now something gets done.

Uninstall the synapse immediately! 😃 and don't even think about to install it before they fix it. with this, you lose the synapse sound and mic settings so your mic will be terrible (use push to talk everywhere)

F that, I always use my headset while gaming, discord ect. i might as-well buy a new headset then. I've heard good things about a brand that starts with the letter L.
earlier this day i had a problem with Razer synapse 3 (GameManagerService) proces taking all my cpu resources, the WMI provider Host just took 40-60% of it.
And now this...

I just never calculated that my headset could be the bottleneck of my pc.
About people complaining about the not even being able to play games. Just close synapse or uninstall it. Simple. Your cpu load will be normal but yea voice and sound will be a bit crappy, especially mic. Maybe they will fix it before half a year has gone by. Would be cool.
Yo razer, do we need 5 pages of comments before we get noticed?
will there happen anything? i cant even play LoL currently without massive problems caused by this.

As this forum is a community, you will not get reliable answer from someone. If you want it, go to Razer support forum and open a ticket. Then you should get a contact, perhaps a solution.

You can read in thread synapse-3-update-18-mar-2019-release-announcement. Seems that WMIProvider and GameManagerService cause the problems. You can try to stop/disable starting of/ Windows WMIProvider Service as a workaround. May be it helps.
"I have endorsed the case to our Development Team for further investigation. We'll keep you posted once we receive feedback from them." Has anyone else got this far with support?? It sounds like they might end up fixing it but I have no idea how long it will take.

They will never fix it. They straight up ignore me on reddit. https://www.reddit.com/r/razer/comments/bdkixj/razer_can_u_fix_this_problem_after_6_months_of/
This is happening to me too, windows foundation and synapse taking 33% of CPU time but goes back to normal 0% when I unplug the headset. I really hope I didn't spend money on something I can't use.

I already said this like 5 times. Just shut down your Razer synapse.... This will fix the cpu usage bug. Only thing is your sound won't be enhanced.

Did someone try to fix the problem, with stopping the WMI service in windows services.msc ?

sc stop winmgmt (as Admin.cmd)

If you don't care about enchanted Audio quality just close synapse. Like I said above.

Without synapse, you loose all functionality like additional side buttons functions and macros. That makes no sense, then one can use a 10$ XYZ mice.

Can you read my sentence again? I'm talking about people with a headset.

yes, I know, but I think, that many of them may have other Razer device too, so they need Synapse. And there is no way, to exclude one device from Synapse, af I know.

True. Well fuck Razer. Never buying anything from them again. Hope you guys all do the same. Not doing anything about this for such a long time is unacceptable.

Yes, but let's be fair. They have some nice products, The only thing, that is realy sad, and a no go, is their inability to programm ! I don't know, who or what is responsible in that company for the software developing stuff or process. For me, it always looks like, there is only one person developing the drivers. And in the whole company, the absence of a well organized quality managment is obvious.
It would be fine, if things change quickly, officials react quick and consistent.

Sometimes it's really difficult, to find out, where the problem is. I'm developing software since many years, and got inti this situation from time to time. It's perfect to directly sit at the problem machine, sometimes Teamviewer can help, if one permits.
At least, not every problem can be fixed, but the question I habe is: why is only Razer havong so much problems with their drivers for such a long time ?
I uninstalled all the Razer software from our team's pro gaming rigs this morning . The high CPU usage cause by the Razer software services was making competition impossible. All is good now. Don't know what broke in their code, but it has been running fine through all upgrades until this week. Will watch this thread for official word of a fix from Razer before the team re-loads the software. For now, recommending their products at matches is right out.
I've been using the headset without the software for a while. I recently reinstalled Razer synapse and realized how much terrible the sound is without it!
The headset is also uncomfortable and hurts after being worn for a long period!
I have Razer huntsman and I'm extremely satisfied with it, but I'm NEVER going with a Razer headset again...
Am I the only one who thinks that not a single Razer employee ever opened that forum after its initial setup ?

Honestly, Razer has the BY FAR worst customer support I have experienced in my whole life.
Did anyone try to install an older version of Razer Synapse?
I wonder if they're using our computers to bitcoin mine with. Nothing else explains that high of usage other than something trying to make optimizations to the hardware. Which it indicates NOTHING about. Razer has been leaving large clumps of people alone in the dark on many issues for years. It was the same with their legacy devices. 0 support. I really wouldn't put it passed them that they're stealing our cpu bandwidth for profit at this point. I have this issue and don't even own digital headphones, nor have the enhancement app. The problem is perpetuated through WMI Provider Host and isn't permanent for me. As time goes on it will throttle anywhere from 15-50% with a i7 4790k. Absolutely absurd for a peripheral controller. Their claim about being unable to reproduce the issue has to be a downright lie, as this is easily detectable. REMEMBER THIS WHEN BUYING YOUR NEXT DEVICE. It's obvious they'll never invest a proper amount in research and support, and will always end up cutting corners when it comes to backing their product. Hence the cost of the Legacy Diamondback at the moment. Look it up. They know it's their hottest mouse, but they simply refuse to reproduce it as they're too lazy to pay attention to their own market feedback. Don't get me wrong, I buy the products because they are beautiful. But every time I hear that CPU throttle up an check my tack manager, there it is making me question my decisions as a consumer.
I tried to correct the spelling on "tack" and got this..... Kinda proves my point.

I've been messing around with this for a week now. After doing a fan optimization the usage seems to have gone down. It's an Asus performance rig and comes with AI cpu software. Last time I did the optimization was before the Razer install. I've seen it throttle down before, as of now it just seems like hokey superstition and it'll ramp up later. I'll report back if it does.
