Hi all, I’ve got a Razer 15 Advanced 2080 2019 model. I purchased 2x32Gb Crucial DDR4-2666 SODIMM 1.2v RAM to upgrade. The main site suggests I can upgrade to 64Gb. After the RAM is installed and I power up, I just get a blank display. I put the old RAM back and all is well. Tried the new RAM in case it was a seating issue, but blank screen again. Old RAM back and all okay. Should this work okay? I’ve done some research and it doesn’t look like I should need to do anything more then swap and boot. Regards, Mark
Hello, Having just bought a Razer Blade 15 2020 base model, I am trying to disable the light on its back logo. Old threads suggest to go under lighting in Razer Synapse but I cannot find the option there (see screenshot here). I am running Razer Synapse 3.5. Thanks for your help!
Hi all, I bought a Samsung 49" Oddessey G9, 240Hz, 5120x1440 (what a beast :eek_:) and I want to buy the Razer Blade 2020 MaxQ Super 2070 but I can't find any specification/information on what this Razer Blade can handle with an external monitor. Maybe someone can inform me regarding: -What is max. external resolution and Hz that a Blade 2020 MaxQ Super 2070 can handle? -What is the best way to connect the display for optimal performance? (USB-C to DP?) -Does someone have the experience with a Blade advanced and a 49" monitor? Any specification or information is more than welcome. Thnx all :wink_:
Hi I've been hunting the internet for an answer to this question. I think anyone who has opened their 2020 Blade 17 should be able to answer this also. Inside the machine where you slot in the second SSD on the left side there is a firmly glued foam pad resting on the motherboard. That pad is supposed to stay there right? I can't seem to find an answer anywhere else. Most videos I find are of the 2019 version which dont have that pad.
When I realized Rift S had switched across to display port I started searching around for solutions for my new Razer Blade 15 Advanced (HDMI out only). Everything I read online suggested that Rift S was not compatible. The main issue I read about was that the Thunderbold/USB-C connector was showing only connected to the internal graphics card and not the 2080. As I was out of my return period for the laptop (pretty bummed) I figured I would try a USB-C 8K Display Port adapter. Sure enough Rift S works great! Perhaps someone knows the specifics but the NVidia control panel is misleading as far as I can tell. Both the laptop display and the USB-C/Thunderbolt connector are only shown as being connected to the Intel graphics. This can't be the case though as games and VR show the GPU being put to work (in task manager). I cannot see Razer releasing a laptop that would not use the GPU :) Anyway, I just thought I would post up it as working as everything else I found suggested it would n
Hi. I have read up so many stories on reddit and other forums on Windows 10 v2004 problems. Does it work well? any problems with keyboard chroma, drivers, etc? Appreciate any advice .
Hey all, I have the new Razer Blade 15 (with 10th gen i7) on backorder and was wondering if the Crucial Ballistix 3200MHz 64GB kit is compatiable with it? https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr4/bl2k32g32c16s4b It's the only 64GB kit I can find that anyone has in stock. I can't find the 64GB HyperX Impact kit anywhere. Does anyone have any other recommendations for a compatible 3200MHz 64GB kit? Thanks!
Hello, I use a Razer Blade Stealth 13 (https://geizhals.de/razer-blade-stealth-rz09-02393g31-r3g1-a1725212.html?hloc=de) and it feels like the display brightness changes the whole time. But when i check the settings its still the same like i had adjust it, also its just possible that the contrast will change whole time automatically and this disturbs me. Is there anyway to deactivate these options? Thanks for help an i hope you understand me.
Hi, Running windows 10 and got a message when turning it on and booting that said "Preparing Automatic Repair." It then immediately shut off. The message doesn't show up anymore, but the computer shuts off so quickly that I can't get into the BIOS or repair options or anything like that. I've seen other posts about boot loops but mine isn't stuck in a loop, it just doesn't get past the razer logo before shutting off. First post, so sorry if I did anything wrong! Thanks for any help!
I am guessing this isn't possible. I have razer pro 17 inch. I want to custom macros for the FN + z or any other key. Is this possible? not many keys I can customize since the keyboard is pretty small as is. Alternatively I was thinking of using auto hot key but that's a different subject.
Hi everybody! I am a proud owner of RBP 2017 w/ GTX 1080 and so far the laptop was easily coping with all games I threw at it. However, looking at RTX 30 series, I feel like GTX 1080 will become outdated soon, so I'm considering an eGPU (I use an external display anyhow). I know that Core and Core v2 do not support my RBP because of GTX 1080. Does anybody know if I can use Core X (Chroma) with this laptop? Ideally without any workarounds and unofficial drivers? Your help is highly appreciated!
Does the Razer Blade 15 Advanced (2020) have an extra slot for ram or ssd?
I already unticked 'allow this device to wake the pc' under Mamba's properties in device manager, but Mamba still wakes up my sleeping Blade Stealth 2020 by either moving or clicking. How can I prevent this from happening? Anyone with similar experiences and solutions? My Mamba's model is RZ01-01360100-R3U1 (Chroma wireless). Currently using it wired. (This morning I found my stealth woken up and warm with its lid closed and display off, probably mouse woke it up at some point in the night and it was not desirable. I can disconnect Mamba but hope I can achieve it without doing it.)
Hey, a few days ago I got the new Blade 15 advanced full spec model. I love it. And it was always completely silent when it was under no load or I was browsing or watching netflix. I contacted the Razer support because I had an issue that I could not watch netflix in 4k with this machine (still unsolved) but while at it we disabled the graphics card (2080 super max q) in the device manager settings. And after that the blade was never to be silent anymore. Now the fans are like jet engines even if I'm just on the desktop and having nothing open. I tried to restart it, update the nvidia software and even recovered the whole system since it was no issue I haven't installed everything I needed yet anyway. But even after a full recovery when I start the laptop and have the synapse setting on balanced the fans are just always running no matter what. On load, of course, but I closed every single program and after a while on the desktop the fans are still running. I expected the Blade to be co
The case bulged open. I popped open a crack about 3-4mm high along the seam of the case (in case the photo isn't visible). The horrible grinding sound went away, and the machine seemingly boots and runs ok in spite of the new deformity. 1) Given that it's out of warranty and that the case itself has been affected, is it impossible to fix at any price? 2) If I can't get it fixed, is it safe to keep using it?
Anyone happen to know if there's anyway to get the stock config of windows from Razer? I switched to bigger SSD and had did a clean install and have just been having a ton of issues I didn't orginally have. One of which being I can't get the "Razer Control Device" driver to install. I'm not sure what to do. I've re-installed windows twice now thinking that maybe I didn't something wrong. I've updated every single driver I can think of. Ethernet, wireless, bluetooth, gpu's, etc. I'm running out of ideas and at this point I just wish I could go back to stock.
Hello I add and connected to my Razer Blade 2019 Advanced the Razer Core X Chroma, So now I have two GPU in my system...one is the 2070 max q and in the Core x an invidia 1080ti Is there a way to choose a program and mostly games to run on this or this ? for now the only way I can choose is by directly connect a DP cable when I want to use the 2070max q to the Blade or When I want to use the 1080ti a DP cable to it... In both cases I work with external Display. (In the case of using the Intel GPU or the invidia Windows 10 allows to choose....same old "Run With Power Saver" or "Run With High Performance") So :) my question is how to choose between two dedicated GPUs in one system? Thanks... Best,
My 2019 Razer Blade 15 does not charge or power on. I have the green LED on the brick but no LED on the laptop.
I have an old usb 2.0 hub 1 to 4. I use it to power some non essential items. No data transfer don't even need the devices to be recognized from the PC. I can plug it on the right side no problem leds light up connection works. But some reason left side usb ports are not registering the hub. Neither of them. I know the USB ports are fine I use them regularly with actual devices. Any suggestions? is this a setting issue I am missing to setup?
computer has problems with the a key. when pressing it, this is written çñ, ihgrza.
Hello, Has anyone tried to upgrade the SSD from 1TB to 2TB on this system? All support would tell me is: "Going back to your concern, the storage units and RAM can be upgraded to their maximums supported by Windows. Please be advised that upgrading these units is an “at your own risk” situation. The Specs of the SSD that is compatible with the Razer Blade is SSD (M.2 NVMe) and it is upgradeable up to 2TB." Anyone know the SSDs form factor size and socket type? i.e. M.2 2280 socket M Thanks.
Hi I bought these headphones a few days ago and by connecting the USB support to the ps4 it is recognized but the keys do not work (for example if I click the microphone it mutes but then if I click again nothing happens), what could be the cause of this problem ? (I specify that I haven't used headphones on a computer yet)
Hello all, Is it possible to undervolt 10th gen i7 (for battery saving + fan noise reduction) thanks to an older version of the firmware? Current version of the BIOS (1.03) doesn't allow it. Thanks in advance
