As the title says my Razer 15.6 2018 Advanced Model can't connect to my Iphone X hotspot. I've tried connecting it all the three ways possible, wi-fi, bluetooth, and USB. Can anyone tell me how to fix it or at least tell me the reason why it won't work. Please and thanks.

So, I really have this doubt: why isn't a speed option at quick effects? You can edit the speed to almost every lighting effects at Chroma Studio, so why there's no speed option at Quick Effects. I really would love to change the speed to breathing, Fire and the most wanted would be Spectrum Cycling and Wave!! So, If you can edit the speed at Chroma Studio: Why not adding a "speed" option at Quick Effects? PLEASE

I currently own the first gen Stealth and I am considering the Razer Blade Stealth 2019 MX150 Full HD version and I'm concerned about the battery and touchpad. Battery My stealth lasts a lot shorter than the advertised battery life since the very start. I checked out a lot of reviews, and they're all claiming different usage hours (web browsing and word processing). The official Razer website claims to be 11 hours, most reviews say 8/9 hours and some reviews even say 4/5 hours. It is also mentioned that they're used in certain conditions like lowered brightness and processing/graphics power but do I need to manually turn the brightness or power mode settings down every time I unplug? Or is it automatic? Moreover, my old stealth has really bad standby time, any of you have much experience with the new Stealth? On the other hand, for Macbook Pros (13 inch), they claim to have 10 hours of wireless web browsing, but some of my friends tell me that they can easily go up to 14/15 hours wh

It is pretty obvious that most people do not like the new razer blade stealth 2019, and we all pretty much know the reason why, the price, the specs, and how it changed what made the razer blade stealth lineup unique. I got the new razer blade 15 with rtx2080 max-q right after the release, and it has terrible coil whine. I spent the past month combating this issue by returning it twice and I am currently on my third unit which has the exact same problem. I found a fix for those who don't want to waste your time returning (cuz the new unit has the same problem as well). You can lower the cpu performance to 20percent during idle, such as web browsing, checking email, watching youtube, and put it back to 100 percent when you are doing content creation/gaming, because you wont hear the coil whine under heavy fan load. This method has been helpful for me to bypass this problem, I hope it will help yall. Leave a comment below if it helps u. Hi, I have recently purchased the Blade 15 RTX 2070 max-q, and it looks very good. When I put my year near the laptop keyboard, I can hear a slight whistling sound. I was wondering does that count as coil whine or its natural for laptops this thin to have a whistling sound? This is my first thin and light laptop, so Im not very sure hence why I ask.

Ok so lemme give you the low down, I'd put this thread in the Razer support section but I don't need support from Razer yet, so here's what's been going on... I've been using my Razer blade stealth v4 2016 (Intel 7500u) as a daily driver and suffice to say it's worked well for roughly a year and a half before problems started appearing, mainly issues with the laptop's CPU. I've sent my laptop in for an RMA twice in 2018 and want to send it in for an RMA only as a last resort. So the issue is that the battery isn't being detected and I've done the common sense stuff such as: Uninstalling then reinstalling the battery drivers in device manager "Restoring" my laptop to a previous working state doing a complete hard reset opening my laptop up and having a look at the internals If anyone has any ideas as to fixing this issue please comment and help me, like I said I want to fix it myself and not send my laptop in for an RMA because I really need it for schools since I have major assig

For those of you who carry this around, what have you found to help? I wish this thing had a flush handle on the top, as I plan on taking this to LAN parties. Bolting one to the top would be OK but there goes any idea of setting a laptop or something else up there. Has anyone run across a strap set or something to carry this around with? Bolted a handle to the top? Something else..?

I am just wondering the thoughts of forum users, MSI recently has put out a i9-9880h GS65/GS75. I am looking to buy a laptop in the very near future. I was wondering, being a VERY big razer fan, Should I wait to see if Razer is going to do an i9? I am a software engineer and require as many cores as possible, Even thou this will be my "Outside" rig, I still require the cores. Do you think razer will do an i9-9880h, and Should I just wait?

So first my problem about razer kiyo not working on facebook video chat still persist It keeps showing a driver not supported issue or something. Even though its working well with viber and obs without any issues as well as it doesnt seem to work when I plug it in a usb 2.0 port and I thought 3.0 usb cable are backwards compatible.

Hi, I’ve registered to the forum just to vent my frustration about the UK Razer Blade 15 not having the secondary functions keys backlit. I can’t believe that they offer this for the US version only. Surely it can’t be that hard to make them light up on the UK version as well? I was literally about to buy the 2080 max-q version before I found this out however I refuse to spend £3k on a laptop that cannot light up the secondary function keys, especially when they already offer this option in the US version. If anyone from Razer is reading this please treat us UK customer same and light up the secondary function keys on the UK version. Thanks. /rant over

Hey guys, i would be ordering a new Razer Blade 15 2019. I saw the configurations and the maximum SSD storage is only 512GB. Personally I would not be storing too many games at a time but there is a good chance i would be needing an upgrade in the upcoming months, and here in Germany it makes more sense to just grab the 256GB and buy a new 1TB SSD anyway. I narrowed my choice to 4 options: Samsung 970 Evo Plus (1 TB) Adata XPG SX8200 Pro (1 TB) Western Digital Black SN750 NVMe (1 TB) and Samsung 970 Pro (1 TB) Now to give it some context: I wont be copying large (>100GB) files at a time so often, so sustained write/read speed is not something crucial but nice to have. and I saw Adata is more energy efficient: which is great, because i will use the unit for uni purposes as well. Hey everyone! Looking for some clarification or even some help on a bios update for the Blade 15 2018 Base Model. I'm currently on version 1.01, and have seen multiple posts online saying that the advanced model's BIOS update is compatible with the base model. (latest version 1.05?) When i try to run the updater, i'm met with the following message: "The firmware tool is for use only with Blade and compatible system" I've seen people offer solutions to do with the serial number being missing in the bios, I've checked my bios and it shows the correct serial number. I was wondering if anyone had any success in resolving this issue and getting their blade updated?

Hi all, I just purchased and received a new Razer Blade 15 Advanced model. Overall, the machine seems great, but I have a large gripe that may lead me to return the machine; specifically, with the keyboard. The layout is quite annoying for several reasons: the right shift is small, but I can live with that the trackpad is centered with the chassis with this keyboard which causes your right hand to sporadically touch the top right of the keypad causing it to move the cursor. It would solve a lot of issues if it was centered with the spacebar/g&h keys. Where are the home and end keys? the biggest and most annoying issue I don’t think I can live with is the not only small bottom left ctrl key, but the fact that its switched with the FN key. Who in the world needs the FN key closer to the center of the keyboard? From the Razer synapse application, it doesn’t seem I can rebind the FN key. Optimally I was looking to simply swap the binds on the FN & ctrl key, but it doesn’t seem possible

Hey guys. I've had my RB15 for just over a week now and have started noticing the laptop makes a little "clicking" sound whenever the fans start to kick in. Kind of reminiscent of HDDs when they make a clicking sound (just not as loud). Just wanted to know if this sound is normal? I did just replace the SSD in my unit with a Samsung EVO Plus 970 1Tb So hoping that I didn't screw something up.

Hey guys, this is for everyone facing the decision at some point if a razer system is suited for you and if it will make you happy. I remember facing exactly this decision 1,5 years ago when I needed a new laptop after my old one had given in after 5 years. I had saved some money so considering the Blade 2017 was possible but it was still hard to justify going with it given I knew I'd be using the laptop 80% for standard stuff and not primarily for gaming on the road. I was also considering going the dual route of cheaper laptop and a desktop but did just not personally like the moving between two systems idea back then. Going back and forth a lot between the blade and considerable cheaper (while also at least partly less powerful) models from LG/HP and a german gaming manufacturer I just decided to go with my heart + dream and take the razer blade. Hi all, I successfully migrated my data from the build in SSD 256GB to a new SSD 512GB. Now I have just the issue that I cant resize the C: partition with the free new space from the 512GB. The partition table and order looks like on the attached file. Any advise how to make use of the space on the C: partition? Thanks and regards Oliver
