that looks powerful
drool, some day im gonna get that
I know im new but can people maybe a mod like this please
picked up the latest 120Hz UHD it arrived the other day,
it has few issue to iron out, it clearly has potential,

missing bit peripheral support atm,
id like to see an extended stand that fits the 17 unit,
current chroma stand can be used with any unit beside the 17,
the OLED 15 unit i have here fits perfect but not the 17 (its short about an inch to fit :slightly_sad:),

I really would love to buy the new Blade Pro 17 4K Laptop, but it is only listed as "coming soon" for germany/europe. Is there any insight or roadmap, when products (or more specifically - this laptop) will be actually available?

(Background: I need to buy a laptop before December for tax reasons and would have to choose a different one if this one can't be bought until then).
Looks great but I've been through 3 razer blades over the years and every one of them has had battery/power failure.
looks pretty
Hello, anyone agree that razer blade pro is heading to the right direction, just think about it, adoring macbook pro design sleek aluminium, normal looking design, non childish design and exceptional built quality from audio, keyboard and trackpad even the quality control has improved such as thermal limitation. Now, if they can further innovate and wish you all can be with me.
1) for some reason, asus, msi and accer seems to be better price per performance ratio. They may look ugly and have slight fault here and there but always seems to be better benchmark performance and thermal performance. Which is quite concerning at a similar price tag. Either, to me all of them are not price per performance ratio anyway.
2) They need to focus blade pro 17 as much as blade 15 where blade 15 always get all the latest features here and there. Now that we have 4k 120hz, hope they give us option with RTX option rather than RTX Quadro graphics as well having the option with OLED. 1440p 120hz would be even more awesome and that would be my pick.
3) Now that they have Optical keyboard, I hope they would implement it on the blade pro, in fact with different switches feel, linear, tactile and clicky. Of course with improve built quality here and there such as improvement of the hinge mechanism like Apple macbook pro. Trackpad similar with Apple but i know that is impossible as Apple is superior in that department.
4) Go back to the original roots of the blade pro 17 inch with low profile keys (optical switch as a replacement from the blade 15), audio visualizer with RGB trackpad and touch screen option (2014 version) but instead have it Apple touch bar version not only for productivity apps and programs like Apple but with game integration such as steam and discord, etc. cool RGB here and there everywhere with touch id on the touch bar.
5) Have metal gun grey version and more colour option. More specs option as well. Having the option whether we want G sync or not and having a software to able to deactivate G sync and run integrated graphics for non graphic application and gaming task related.
I just need money and there we go xD It's perfect!

1) Blade Pro 2070maxq performance = most 2080maxq laptops performance. It’s because better cooling and higher gpu tdp, 100 Watt.

And 2080maxq one dominates firestrike ranks (ignore hackintoshope and stranula, i know they flashed Blade pro vBios on their Blade 15 2080maxq, and added liquid metal on their cpu or gpu (forgot which one).
2. You can get now 4K 120Hz pro with rtx 2080maxq Model. For Oled high refresh rate the technology isn’t there yet, and there’s still no display manufacturer I believe release 1440p high refresh rate for 17 inch panel.
3. I hope as well in the future since old Blade pro 2017 4K had also mechanical keyboard.
4. I agree with this too as long as it doesn’t add extra thermal, I like personally old Blade pro touchpad position on right with rgb surrounding it extra function like switchblade is welcome.
5. Yes g sync needs to be back on pro model like on 2017 4K, but maybe it’ll ask more organs lol as trade off.
This laptop is just a beast one of my friends use it and i jealous at him. Gj guys!

17" is too large for laptop.. I love the design of Razer blade 13
I did buy this super awesome notebook. But everything took a bad turn.

After I started it up and did all the updates, I was finally ready to try some first game.
First start of a game and I received a BSOD. Now follows a colorful choice of all kinds of BSOD messages, driver installs and windows updates, windows resets. Nothing works. Clearly something is wrong with the GPU, because as soon as I start any program which requires some kind of graphic power, the BSODs begin.
While Razer Support T1 was very friendly and patient and covering all the basics, the case was escalated to T2.
I thought: "great, now some serious troubleshooting will start".
The only thing what started was waiting for a reply, which never came! more than a week has passed and no responses even after asking about the status. T1 support kept being friendly, but clearly their limit what they could help was reached.

I endlessly tested scenarios when and how the BSODs show up and it is the GPU. I see three possibilities:
a) the RTX is defective even before install
b) the RTX is not properly connected to the mainboard
c) the power supply is not properly connected to the RTX

Since the problem only occurs when more power is required from the GPU, I am tending to c).
At the moment, I can use the 3.3k Razer Blade Pro 17 to check my e-mails and browse the web.
However, Razer Support keeps ignoring me and no offers of replacement or onsite support are given to me.

I will wait until Monday, if I don´t get a reasonable plan of action how to fix this, I will return the Blade and look for a competitor solution.

This has been a nightmare experience in customer support for me. I bought a super expensive premium product, for which my expectations where very high, and I was very badly disappointed in the product and in the high level support of Razer. Nothing against T1 support, you guys did great.

To all of you who want to buy a Razer Blade Pro 17: Good luck to you that it is not faulty and that you don't need higher level support.

Cheers.

Great choice sticking around with the i7, i9 would be a total disaster. For me 4k resolution isn't necessary but for that price, it is indeed expensive.

hope to own this one day
Dude, this is just sick.
Joikansai is the 4k120 one hdr10 capable? The old blade pro 4k was not (7820hk gtx 1080). No one at store in sf knows.
