Razer Blade Pro 2020 - XMP bricks my laptop
I bought 32GB kit of Crucial Ballistix 3200 memory. Installed fine in bios 1.00 and was running at 2666 as expected without XMP. I knew I had to go to the 1.03 bios and lose undervolting in order to enable XMP so I did. After upgrading, everything booted up fine the first time with default bios settings. I then went into the bios to enable the 3200 xmp profile and the laptop just bricked. Booted up fan running and keyboard rainbowing, but never even got to the POST bios screen, so I couldn't change it back....bricked. Put the original memory back in, still bricked.
I pulled the CMOS battery to reset the bios to defaults and was able to recover. For now I left the original 16GB memory in and I'm back stable.
Anyone have anything similar happen? I chatted with support and they said I couldn't flash back to 1.00 unfortunately. Thinking about returning the 3200 Crucial memory and just going with 2933 memory
