Hi folks, i'm planning to buy a new pair of headset (my kraken pro from 2013 is olding). Can someone explane me in details the differences between these 3 models? (Kraken X, Kraken TE, Nari Essential). I mean, the specs are written but i wonder if someone has tested them out. Thanks

so theres a firmware updater for the headset above as sent by razer support to update my headset and base but! I get to the bit where I connect my headset and it says hostapi_vmi.dll lost or broken and will not continue with any update, ive raised this with razer support but seems a slow process for a solution any pc gurus shed any light on this?

Hello, So like the heading says, I just got my Razer Kraken 7.1 Chroma's delivered to me at work and as you may have assumed, the headset is for my gaming rig, but I could not just watch them in the box for the entire day at work xD I popped open the box to a beautiful headset and my face just shone with glee I am so happy with the comfort of the headset and the sound is incredible I must be honest. Hi, I need help with choosing headphones. My struggle is I wear glasses. I've seen some razers have features, but I need an advice, which one should I choose?

If I plug my headset into the USB Audio Controller, there is noticeable background static when sound is playing. As far as I know, everything else is fine. The problem doesn't exist plugged directly into any 3.5mm jack. The problem doesn't exist if I plug the USB Audio Controller into my friend's computer. The problem starts existing if my friend plugs their USB Audio Controller into my computer. Reinstalling Synapse 3 doesn't do anything. It's isolated to my computer or something? The static is quiet but irritating when listening to quiet sounds or background sounds in games. (I typically listen to headphones at very low volumes) Can't find any fixes. Have been suggested as a USB port issue, but this is an issue on all of my ports, including dongles onto USB-C ports. I haven't had any other problems with these ports, so it doesn't make much sense. Any fixes?

So I have a wired Man O War headset and I lost the aux to usb adapter that gives me surround sound. Now I just plug it into the aux cord but it plays in stereo (the main noises of thing such as the singing in music sounds faint and the background is extremely loud. I'm guessing that means it wants to play in surround. I don't know how to change it to stereo. There is no enhancements tab and it doesn't show up as the headset but instead it shows Realtek high definition audio. It still plays in my headset though. So if anyone knows what I'm missing or if I'm just dumb, that would be very helpful. :)

Hi, I need to change my earcups for my Nari Essential , in razer support say I can buy it but in accesories not appear earcups for Nari Essential want to know if other diferent earcups works on my nari? Or if anyone can help me with in store wich I can buy to replacement apreciate. Let me know your opinions

I am using a Razer Nari Ultimate and a Razer Mechanical keyboard. While playing Battlefield V I have my mic open. The mic picks up key clicks and seems to be picking up some audio from the headphones itself, especially the haptic feedback. I have messed with every setting I can think of. The game itself does not have any settings I can adjust. Any ideas?

I tried using my Razer Nari Ultimate with the Xbox One and had all kinds of issues. I don't have a 3.5mm jack on my controller so I had to get the adapter. Every time I talked my friends would get an echo. I would also get an echo. Is it just with the adapter. I did get the Turtle Beach one. If I purchase a controller that has the 3.5mm jack will that fix the problem?

I bought a pair of the Razer Kraken TE with great thoughts of its mic quality and the audio, but then I had to previously contact support and much more due to the rather synapse having not to work as expected but then after that I went on and continued to use them, but after a while I keep getting comments about it having a bad mic quality and much more to those regards and an another comment pops up and says it's "worse than yesterday" which makes me assume it's either a technical problem with the application or it has to be with my microphone. I've tried to use sidetone as a way to prove that to myself which kinda did better than the actual mic quality that i've been using for about a month ^are the current settings sometimes I like to swap between configurations hoping for a better result in which it couldn't deem itself if anyone can at least help out with the mic quality if it's either a spec or bad settings perhaps then thank's

I bought the Tiamat 7.1 v2 today morning. when i plug in to my computer, it sounds not so good. at the same time, i can not find the 7.1 surround sound code inside the box. do i need to buy another one? actually, the most important thing is it sounds so cheap. it just sounds like my sister's $20 earphone. what should i do? pls help kid.

Wonderful headset and all works good. I'm using Synapse 3 cause Nari are supported. My question is very simple: Usually I do not activate spatial sound (Sorround or THX). Anyway. In case I want to try a game using Sorround or THX, the game has to be comply to that? For example. I'm starting Heavy Rain (Epic Store - PC). In the audio option there is the possibility to set audio stereo or sorround. In a game that has not this option (so it has been made to manage stereo audio only) will sorround works or activating it in Synapse will have not effect in game? So: enabling virtual sorround in Razer software will force the audio of the game to do so also if the game is stereo audio only? hope everyone's having a great day so my mic isn't working on ps4 but it used to work properly I have manowar wireless and kraken wired for man o war when turn on the device and join a party chat an alarm pops on screen which says mic is muted that's while I haven't muted my headset! also for kraken when I plug it in the controller everything is norma, but just can not talk!!! the thing is when I checked the settings everything was ok so I dunno what the problem is! also I used them both on my phone or laptop and they worked properly but on ps4 they don't ! seems like sony has ran into a problem with razer products, any thoughts on how to fix this? Dear All, I have written to their support team but thought i'd speak here as well and who knows, i might be able to get some thoughts on this from awesome veteran experts like you guys! My name is Johan and I am from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I bought the Nari Ultimate headsets yesterday and brought them home. They are comfortable to wear, awesome to listen to and pretty much is great bang for buck. Well, i've paid for it, so its pretty darn well even if its not. And here is where i'm feeling a bit down. The haptics is too loud for me. Its too vibratie (if there is such a word), and it hurts my ears. The sounds sound like its a vibrating MESS, and i play FPS like Battlefield V etc. Its just TOO DARN powerful that you are hearing VHOOOBS WHOOBS VHOOBS and not the actual sound. I don't want to disable the haptics because then i would have just been better off buying a $10 headset from the supermarket. So, a few months ago I bought the Razer Kraken TE. Inside the box, there was this guide teaching you to go in the sound folder thingy (the place where you choose your default playback device). After that, it told me to put Razer Kraken TE - Chat as the default communication device and Razer Kraken TE - Game as the default device. But then I noticed another playback device it was called THX Spatial - synapse multimedia device. what is this? sorry if I have bad grammer

Hello, I have a razer nari ultimate headset and I just bought the razer nommo chroma speakers. I wanted to know if there is a way to set with Razer Synapse 3 a key to switch the sound output on one of my devices. Or should I use another software to create a shortcut to perform this action and then set this shortcut on one of the keys on my keyboard for example? Thank you in advance, Bad Moood
