So i just got myself a razer kraken TE and i was forced to download the new razer synapse app, and i seem to struggle a bit here, my kraken isn't working perfectly smooth..the mic keeps cutting off at times and doesn't pick up every word i'm saying and it also isn't canceling out much of the ambient sound at times, if anybody knows the best setup for both gaming,music and chatting it would be a big help..plus i probably have done something on the controller because there is a button that isn't displayed on the headset menu about what it does and i have been playing with it

What is the difference between Razer Surround Pro and Razer Synapse 2.0? I have Razer Kraken 7.1 v2 and Razer Kraken 7.1 heasdsets. Which of the above is better? Chat didn't know.

Hi, so here I received the Razer Nommo Pro yesterday, I was happy until I realized that when the screen / computer is in standby and there is no sound, the speakers automatically turn off after 30 minutes. I contacted Razer support who told me that it was done expressly there was a system of automatic shutdown after 30 minutes of inactivity. But I need to have my speakers on 24 hours a day for my work, I get important alerts and the computer rings to warn me. Someone knows if there is a way to stop because ? I tried several things (bluetooth mode, usb, jack... and always the same) If there is nothing I will return them but it's a shame, I don't understand why they made a system like that, my old speaker was turn on 24 hours a day without prob, it's useless, turn off the lights/chroma yes I understand but from there to completely turn off the speakers.... Thank you.

Hi all, does Razer have any open-back headsets? I can't seem to find any information on it, but all of them that I look at seem to be closed-back. I have a special circumstance that requires open-back. If they do, and they have multiple, can anyone point me to all their open-back headset names so I can compare from there? Thanks in advance.

Turns out there may be an issue with THX Surround Sound and Synapse's EQualizer. The issue makes so, if you're listening to some Surround Sound application (for example, a game), and you pause it; if you resume it, the sound will come back muffled. It seems to only happen if you have THX Spatial Sound activated, playing or listening to a Surround Sound app or game, and if you have a custom EQ curve. This completely destroys the audio quality when this happens. After some long talks with support yesterday, I think I've accidentally come across a solution that does not involve sacrificing either your EQ settings or THX Surround Sound. Create a blank profile within Synapse and calibrate THX Surround Sound (it's the same as "Spatial Audio", so gonna go with Surround to avoid confusion). Turn THX off, making every single source Stereo automatically. Now introduce the EQ settings that you may like. In my case, I've found these to be the best EQ settings if you want the flattest-fre

Just got my razer kraken tournament edition and i was wondering what the best setting were

When I am away from home I tend to completely turn off my pc and the speakers by pressing the button behind the subwoofer. After that I turn off the coupler which has a switch and when I come back home I turn on everything including the speakers I get loud humming from them which is only fixed when i turn them off from the button on the subwoofer while they are turned on. So is this normal or is the high current that flows after being turned off for a while causes this?

Was looking at the RAZER NARI ULTIMATE as it says compatible with ps4 but I'm being told different things. Told it isn't wireless with ps4 then being told it is then being told only stereo sound for ps4 you lose all extra these have to offer is this true? Was told hypersense wont work with ps4. I want a premium sounding headset for my gaming on my ps4

Hello guys i bought a Razer Nari ultimate today everything is very good until i want to charge my headphones. I tried to charge my headphone but my computer make usb unplug-plug sound while playing a game. My spec: i7 8700k 32 gb ram 3200mhz RTX 2080 ti zotac 1050 watt PSU z370 auros gaming 7 edition

bought this headset yeatersay from offline store. Near the tip of the usb the braiding has some thin stitching/strands coming out. Is this a defect? Also i was thinking to just use lighter and put a little fire there for a split second. Fire makes those small loose stitches tighten up. But will that be safe? Would d fire melt or harm anything inside the usb? cant replace it as i bought from offline store..

So i am interested in the new kraken, look awesome and heard good things, so as someone who never had a razer headset nor headphones (i have Just owned bose, tritton, skullcandy) when i saw the price i decided i wanted to own my first ones but i am curious about in which level speaking Just razer brand this are, are this one of the best? The best? A mid tier? Or the cheapest ones? Which ones are better or which one are worse, I really want this headset but i would prefer to know what exactly i am getting and i am really ignorant about other razer headset, so could someone please put my in road?

Recently just got the Razer Nari and it worked fine with my other Razer products (Huntsman Elite, Naga Trinity, Tartarus V2). However, just today I received the Goliathus extended and the game channel for the headset started crackling after I plugged in the Goliathus and synced it to the Synapse 3. I did a quick google and found a few solutions. One worked for me and that was uninstalling Synapse and deleting the drivers for the Nari. However, the problem came back after I reinstalled Synapse. So, hopefully that helps Razer figure out what is wrong and needs to be done to fix this issue. What's really weird is that it worked perfectly fine until I plugged in the new piece of Razer gear (Goliathus). Right now I just disabled the game channel in windows sound and only use the chat channel.

Hi guys! I´m quiet new in RAZER products. Recently, I bought Nommo Chroma, and I was wondering, Is there any option, how to setup Nommo Chroma to turn of RGB off, when I turn off my PC? Cuz now I need to push volume button to turn off RGB (and Nommo Chroma completely) and I want to turn off just RGB, but only when I turn off PC - like keyboard and mouse. Thanks for help.

So I have a Razer Kraken Tournament Black Edition. I have installed Synapse 3(latest), uninstalled, reinstalled, swapped it to all 13 USB ports and nothing seemed to work. The audio on other computers would POP in and play, and on this computer it would just... not play. It couldn't even play a Windows Test sound, and I'm assuming eventually that the other computers would eventually stop playing sound too. Uninstalling and reinstalling didn't help. Neither did removing the drivers and putting them back. It works without them... but then my mouse doesn't work the way I want. However after disabling the THXService the sound works fine, and there are no play back issues. C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Razer\\THXService\\Drivers\\x64\\THXService.exe Disabling this does of course disable the THX Audio in Synapse and sometimes prevents it from starting(simply start the service temporarily and then disable it once Synapse is running). I recently purchased the Razer Nari Essentials and from the feedback I get from my friends on Discord, they say the quality of my mic is very distorted, fuzzy and cuts out. I am running on Windows 10 and all there are no updated drivers I can get from the device manager on the headset. The only change I made on the Razer synapse for the Nari was turning off the THX Spatial Audio.

Begun looking for a new headset as my old Logitech G403 have started to die on me. I have seen 5 different headsets that seem pretty cool, Razer Kraken 7.1 V2, Razer Nari Essential, Corsair Void Pro RGB, Steel Series Arctis 5 7.1, and the HyperX Cloud ll. I have a budget of $100 and rly just need some advice from people who have used these headsets.

So i purchased the above headset, im browsing sound settings etc, so whats peoples user preferences as far as dolby digital, dolby atmos for headphones and windows sonic, i played an ATMOS film (venom) didnt really notice much difference from my corsair HS50s Playing blackout and other BR games that involve sound to be very important i was hoping to edge being able to hear footsteps clearer but seems the latter i hear them less somehow, despite this headset being higher frequency ranged than my corsair set My current settings are out of the box settings bitstream out and dolby digital so the hub deals the 7.1 out as it should or is 7.1 only when the dolby button is pressed if thats true then all that button seems to do is add reverb to the sound including mic audio which is a tad annoying Anyone use windows sonic etc see any differences from the dolby digital?

Hello! I bought RAZER'S Kraken 2.0, 7.1 Surround Sound Headset around July of 2016 and with some games it's refusing to work. I can listen to YouTube and most AAA games just fine, I tested them with Crusader Kings II, SCP: Secret Laboratory, among others, however with some games like The Darkside Detective and Aaero, it's not projecting any sound. I came to the conclusion when I plugged in some random Bluetooth Speakers and they projected sound just fine. I've tried to: Reinstall Razer Synapse 2.0 Reinstall the Kraken 2.0's drivers Change all possible settings within games that don't work Restart my PC Recalibrate my headset, (which also didn't project any sound, somehow) I'm a bit dumb with audio, so is there any solution, or should I just buy a new headset? (also, there are these beeping sounds, like the rhythm of footsteps, that happen from time to time. been happening for about a year now too.) Thanks! Minerva

Hello, I'm a long time "I use speaker" PC gamer, and recently decided to pick up a Leviathan. It "sounds" good, but now I feel like I'm not getting the most from it because I have an older Audigy Fx sound blaster card. 2 questions: Am I not getting the full 5.1 (because there is a separate 3.5mm jack for rear channels and no optical out)? Would I get much more if i picked up an optical out like a Z, Zx, ZxR card? Assume price isn't a concern, I just want to make sure I get the most from my speaker purchase. I appreciate your time! Paul
