Do I have to download and activate 7.1 surround sound before activating THX spatial audio or THX can be activated regardless of 7.1 surround sound ?

While my headphones were working normally, yesterday they suddenly started to appear as separate Bluetooth connections. What is the solution to this?

Quickly, my situation is that I use two computers, one my work from home office computer and one my gaming rig.  I had been using a Razer Nari headset for gaming, but switched it to a Steelseries Arctis Nova Pro.  However, I then started using my Razer Nari on my work PC.Now, the Razer Nari’s sound is just definitively better, and I got it at a much better pricepoint.  The audio is crisper, the bass is clearer and louder, and I loved the mixes that were possible.  And Steelseries’ audio element was literally poking me in the ear until I used an aftermarket cushion replacement.One might wonder why I don’t continue using the Nari for gaming, and there are two reasons.  One is that I have serious issues with Synapse (I discussed that on another post elsewhere), but one was a curiously excellent idea to use an external DAC that had a battery charger, and then equip the headset with a hot-swappable battery port.  As such, I use the headset until the battery gets low and, when it does, I tak

For some reason after a while the mute button on my Razer Barracuda X headphones stop muting my microphone. The only way to mute it is to push the button in very hard and keep holding it. Is there anyway to fix it?

Hello,I have a problem with the drivers for the Razer Blackshark v2 pro 2023. When I'm not in Discord, everything works. When I'm in Discord, everything runs smoothly if nobody is talking to me. If someone tries to talk to me, the headset completely escalates. Volume fluctuations from extremely quiet to extremely loud. I then can't hear the person I'm talking to at all. I can then see on the blue ring that the person is speaking in their name. But nothing works anymore. If I close the game (in this case Assetto Corsa Competizione), everything works again. Can anyone help me? Does anyone have a tip? As it is at the moment, I'll probably have to send the headset back.

Hi so I have a razer Kiara Pro for xbox and whenever i turn the headset on it’s fine but after a while it starts to become really loud and distorted. Everything becomes 10 times louder (kinda like the bass of everything) and it is so awful that I have to switch headsets. I’ve tried so many things yet nothing is working out for me, Any tips on how to stop it? I spend $100 on this headset and really don’t wanna get rid of it lol. thanku  

Hello, I have the Razer Kraken Kitty Quartz - USB of my partner currently the error that it is supplied with too little voltage.The headset repeatedly turns off at increased volume combined with an activated lighting level. The following troubleshooting steps have already been tried.Tested the headset on different USB ports Tested the headset on different computers Updated/reinstalled all drivers Checked for possible firmware updates Disabled the backlight (The only way to use the device without failures) As I could gather from some social media, this bug of the Razer Kraken Kitty series does not seem to be an isolated case.Does anyone have a solution to fix the error?Is Razer planning a quality program or a future software solution? RegardsLukas

Ich habe ein Razer Nari Ultimate Headset und habe jetzt seit paar tagen das problem, das wenn ich destiny öffne zumindestens hab ichs bei dem spiel nur bisher versucht, die verbindung über dem usb zu meinem headset sich trennt und wieder verbindet dies passiert immer und immer wieder direkt nacheinander dabei habe ich aber dann keinen sound. Kann dies irgendwie daran liegen das der usb zu warm wird oder so? dies passiert interesannter weise hauptsächlich wenn ich während dessen noch firefox bzw. nen browser geöffnet habe.

When i play on fortnite my mic quality and sound are very good but when i launch league of legend, the sound goes incredibly high on sound wired. I don’t know if it’s a synapse bug or headseat bug but i think it’s a problem when we use a improvement settings on synapse

Hello everyone,I have a question concerning the RGB lighting and the haptics on the Razer Kraken v3 lineup (Kraken v3 Pro, Kraken v3 HyperSense and Kraken v3). I would like to know if the RGB lighting and the haptics settings reset to default when Synapse is closed. More precisely, I'm planning on buying a Kraken v3 Pro and I'm not a fan of RGB lightning and haptics.Therefore, I plan to disable them using Synapse. The thing is, I don't like having Synapse running on my computer, so it will always be closed.If I close Synapse, will the RGB lighting and haptics settings reset to default? What if I were to uninstall Synapse on my computer, would the RGB lighting and haptics come back to the default settings, or would they still be disabled? Also, what would happen if I were to connect my Kraken v3 Pro to my phone (with the 1/8 trrs cable), would the RGB lighting and haptics settings stay disabled or would they reset to default?When searching, I didn't find the answers online, hence these

Hi Guys, need your advice. I changed PC recently and tried to connect my Razer Leviathan (V1) to my new PC (Win11 Home) using Bluetooth but my PC couldn't detect it. I was able to find my speaker through my mobile phone Bluetooth but not my PC. My PC can detect other Bluetooth devices too, just not Razer Leviathan.  I already did the following:1) Windows Update to the latest2) Updated all Audio and Bluetooth drivers to the latest via Device Manager. I even tried to uninstall the driver to reinstall again.3) I factory reset my speaker by pressing the mute button for 10 seconds. Thereafter, I pressed >3 seconds on the Bluetooth to make sure it was blinking (pairing mode), which the speaker was detectable by my phone but not PC.4) I could connect my speaker using AUX cable to my PC. I also updated the audio driver for it (latest) when connected. For convenience, I wish to use Bluetooth instead. It worked perfectly for my old PC (also went through win10 to 11 and had no issue). Apprecia

I'm probably not the only one with this problem...The headset constantly turns off and resets when switching from different applications (Discord, games, browser, etc.). After a long search, I found out that I need to update the drivers of the headphones themselves, that is, the firmware. But I can't update these drivers in any way. I follow the instructions strictly, the dongle has been updated, everything is ok, but in the next step, when I need to connect the headset via USB to the computer, nothing happens. No matter what I do, the computer and the program do not recognize that I have connected the headset via USB (the headphones are just charging), and the next button in the update application does not light up, preventing further action accordingly. I have windows11pro with all the latest updates. I tried updating the driver on another computer with windows10pro, the same problem. Does anyone know the best thx eq and calibration settings for razer blackshark v2 wired? I mostly play single player games.

I recently purchased a leviathan v2 x and it was DoA. So I contacted support and RMA’d it and just received the replacement speaker. I connected it via the provided USB-C to my computer and after pressing the power button it began to turn on but almost immediately went dead. Now no matter what I try it still will not power on. I’ve tried different USB-C ports and a known working USB-C cable. I was wondering if anyone here had any other suggestions. (I have also updated my open RMA for the original one so I’ll be waiting to hear what support has to say as well.) Thanks

I like playing games ranging from COD to Farming Simulator going through things like Witcher, Baldurs Gate, etc. I like gaming while wireless (bluetooth connection, i don’t like dongles) btu also need my headset to be able to work connected (whether 3.5mm jack or USB, with slight preference for USB).I also need the headset to have a microphone.The reason for the cable need is work: i do work from home using my personal computer, and i do need to attend meetings and calls using software from my company. This software does not allow for wireless headsets to be used, basically soudn does not go through. Because of this i am interesed in a headset which i could plug in and use as if wired while i am working, but wireless for all my down-time and gaming.For reference i already have a RAZER BARRACUDA X, the old version which had no Bluetooth but rather only dongle. I own Razer nari for over a year and I now have a problem with the headset constantly disconnecting and unsuccessfully reconnecting with the sound like when you are out of reach when sounds start playing. I tried to change usb slots for the dongle, but it did not help. When in the sound settings tab, it endlessly re updates with "Razer nari chat" and "Razer nari game" as an option. Previously, when I played Skyrim, the headset crushed when I played and charged it at the same time, but it was exclusively Skyrim. There are no other effects on the system, only infinitely reconnecting headphones. Restarting pc and turning the headset on/off also did not help. I tried updating the drivers and reinstalling Razer synapse, but that did not help. The headphones hadn't had any physical damage. Connecting via USB to the pc does not seem to have any effect, except my pc refuses to detect headphones at all. Also, when I enter the sound settings, the window sometimes crashes. Dongle rec
