Well... That is uhm... Quite expensive. Guess I am just gonna be throwing some led light strips behind my monitors for now :/

Yeah... and an 8MS response time where the standard is 5 at most for gaming... I understand it is a g-sync, but that is a STEEP price.

8ms?!?!?! WOWOW. That is crazy. $600 for that? I am not sure what they are thinking, I can get a nice LG and push some LED's on it for much less! 3 of them!

I think the G-sync and "curve" is what gives it that much money - and it isn't the chroma. The non-chroma version is $550, so only 50 cheaper

Is it a problem that the monitor has 8ms response time?

Not necessarily, just higher than most other gaming monitors on the market, especially for the price tag.

And here I am, with a new rig that I just got in September...oh well, guess I'll wait for the second edition of this, by then I'll be ready for a new set...

interested in the monitor but disappointed to read its 1080p. Wish it was at least 1440 or higher. Hope they come in different models down the road.
  16. I was just about to order a Blade, then I see this.

C'mon, Razer, you're sending me mixed signals here.
  17. TAKE MY MONEY! How much of it will you need?

When does this pre-built system come out? I'd consider the Lenovo Razer if the price and performance is right. Dang... now I'm considering a build, a Stealth, a Blade, and now this. I just need to take my time and consider all options.

I am seeing a lot of people comment negativity with the Y27g and the 8ms response time. This is more than adequate for most gaming needs. Remember, the panel also supports 144hz AND G-Sync. This is the first ever VA panel that does.

VA panel's are fantastic with very high static contrast ratios, deep blacks, great colors, and viewing angle. I argue that VA is better than IPS and they blow TN panels out of the water in quality.

Looking forward to checking this out!
