Hi! This is awesome, only one problem though. I use Kraken Pro, but when i use the KeyboardVisualizer the visualizer doesnt cover the whole keyboard, sort of speak. It only shows the visualizer to the right, and the left side is almost blank. But, if I turn off surround on the Kraken first (with Synapse), open Visualizer, and then turn sorround back on, the visualizer covers the entire keyboard as it should. I dont know if this is something I can fix, or if it's a bug or something :) Here it is with surround on from when I start Visualizer: And here it is when I disable sorround first, then launch Visualizer, and then turn sorround back on. Same song, both after 7:00 exactly. This was probably quite confusing to read, so for that I am sorry, I'm not that good at explaining things, haha :p

Mouse cursor not moving while using visualizer for a few minutes. but the light are still going on my Mamba TE. Does anyone here experiencing the issue?

Well a big problem with RK7.1Chroma is that it annihilates the visualise to the point were you cant even load it up. So... Sorry for those that use RK7.1C (including me ;-;)

holy crap. it worked, thank you so much, i like setting mine to background rainbow (very dim slow rainbow wave) and inverse rainbow foreground with a high amplitude (1000 now still tweaking)

Not working for me, if I open the visualizer without Synapse open it just turns off my keyboard lights, I've set my lighting mode to static, restarted PC, even uninstalled and re-installed everything needed, but still nothing shows on the keyboard? Same goes for if I open the visualizer WITH Synapse open, it just shows the static color. Even though the visualizer demonstrates a preview of the frequency, it doesn't appear on the keyboard. I've installed the SDK Support.reg files also but still no luck, not sure what the issue is but would love to see this feature added to Synapse soon!

Is there and will there ever be support for Mac with the Chroma SDK?

Suggestion as to how this concept should develop: The audio visualizer should be an effect implemented into the advanced configurator. So that i could layer other effects over it such as static keys in which i do not want to change colors with the visualizer. And possibly be able to select which audio device that the visualizer will use. As of now this works good and looks great

Under the format tab of the audio settings, what frequency are you using? If it's high (96000 or 192000Hz) then that should condense the waveform to the LEFT side of the keyboard. It's a known issue, as I'm assuming CD-quality 44.1KHz input. I skip every 4 samples to effectively have an ~8KHz data sample to run the FFT on which becomes the visualizer. If I did much higher than that it would lose detail at the low end. On systems with higher sample rates, this skipping every 4 produces a result that is essentially 16KHz or higher, which compresses the visualizer by nature of the frequency change.
I know this is an early version, but not being able to use 5.1 sound configurations if we want to get a good visual effect is not worth the sacrifice for the moment. Are you going to fix this in a future update so that the effect is spread across the whole keyboard and not only in the arrows area? Tried with different frequencies but the effect is still isolated in this area while using 5.1. Thanks!

Problem is I can't test everything. The Windows Audio API sucks in that it doesn't do any cleaning or anything, just dumps you an audio stream. If you're using something I don't have to test on like 7.1 192KHz, then the data your visualizer receives will be interpreted incorrectly. I can prpbably fix the frequency issue but I have no idea how channels are distributed and the volume control issue basically comes down to being out of my control. Windows may or may not apply volume depending on device and the result is what I have to work with. The only solution is to increase amplitude in my app if your volume needs to be cranked up and balance the amplitude vs volume yourself.

It shows in the visualizer, but the keyboard does nothing. What am I doing wrong?

what is the highest amplitude we should go to
