We are pleased to announce the new and improved version of Razer Cortex PC, and we want you to be the first to take part in our beta program!



Razer Cortex PC 10 will feature a fresh new UI as well as even more features to enhance your gaming experience.

How to get Razer Cortex PC 10 on your Windows PC 10 & 11:


*Get Cortex PC 10 beta access from your existing installation of Razer Cortex PC 9.18.

What's new?

Besides the revamped UI, we have some new exciting features that will level up your game.

  • Updated look with easy to access tabs

    • Unified Game Library – Quickly launch your favorite games in one place

  • Connect to your favorite platforms to connect to your game library, track all your games and achievements

    • Game Platform Integrations – Connect to your favorite platforms like Steam, GOG, Origin, Ubisoft and Humble Bundle to view all your games and profiles on Cortex PC
    • View and Manage Game Data – View your game data from achievements, recent gameplay, game recommendations that matches your game type
    • In-Game Details – View and track FPS throughout your gameplay, with or without game boost enabled
    • Find Other Players – View other Cortex PC user's games and achievements who are playing the same games as you, join similar discord groups and play together

  • Enhanced PC information

    • My Rig – Now with even more details covering your rig’s individual components
    • FPS Overlay – Manage your FPS overlay with even more customizable options

We want to know what you think of the latest version of Cortex PC, do let us know if there are:

  • What you love and what you don’t about the new Cortex PC
  • Stuff that's not working or any bugs
  • Stuff that could be done better (don't forget to suggest how)
  • Stuff that looks odd or doesn't make sense to you
  • Crashes (try to explain what happened up to the moment the app crashed)

If it has, reply to that thread instead. Let’s keep the thread tidy! The Cortex PC team will be keeping a watchful eye on your submissions and work on your feedback where possible.

Razer Cortex is glitching out, every time I open it it just does the windows failed to launch and says "This file is corrupted and will not launch." What should I do?


Sorry to hear that. Maybe that happens because one of these.

1. The installation of Cortex beta was interrupted cause installer failed to extract.
2. Some installation files of Cortex beta was corrupted.
3. The installer was corrupted.(This one happens extremely low.)
4. Installation was successed, but files corrupted after closing installer.(I think Cortex beta installer is fine, but some programs got this issue. Don't make the conclusion with other cases.)

In my opinion, you should reinstall Cortex beta. Download Cortex from website and upgrade it to beta.

the fps counter doesn't show with the game loading

Here could you please let us know which game you played? As games with anti-cheat software will block the FPS display feature, the FPS counter will not display in games with anti-cheat software.

The new UI looks pretty neat, but I am missing the playtime that used to be on the game that you select.

Thank you very much for taking part in our beta testing. It's great to know that you like the new UI. We also improve the whole performance of Razer Cortex. We'd especially love to hear from our users if you have any comments, feedback, or any bugs you encounter.

Regarding the gameplay time issue, if I understand you correctly, you mean that you lost the gameplay time recorded in Cortex 9, am I right？

Razer Cortex 9 saves the data on the local PC, your gameplay time would be lost if you reinstall Razer Cortex. While Razer Cortex 10 saves the data in the cloud, the data will keep in our app if you reinstall Razer Cortex as long as you log in with the same Razer ID. Since the way is different, some data would be lost in Razer Cortex 10. But if the game is from Steam, GOG, Origin, or Ubisoft Connect, the lost data would be back by connecting Razer Cortex to the platform.

Well, you can able it in windows settings.
First, you need to search 'animation' in windows settings. Next turn off and turn on that features.

Sorry to saying this, but there's no way to kill onedrive process in cortex. I think it's windows services, but unable to detect.

But you can stop syncing files manually. Just click onedrive icon > setting icon > pause syncing and select time you wanted to pause.

It's a shame to learn this, we should be able to kill a process by name without having to depend on detection.

If zou like to tinker around zou could create a desktop shortcut that runs a kill command.

I'm sorry, but there's a problem with this. If we just kill onedrive processes, it could cause some error with online files. (I lost some of my files when I tried it.) So, I don't recommend that method.

In Razer Cortex 10 Beta, games with anti-cheat software will not display FPS counter to avoid potential risks. Valorant has the anti-cheat software, that is why the FPS counter does not display.

Thank you for sharing your inquiry here. Razer Cortex has added Microsoft OneDrive to our white list to avoid the potential risk of damaging your files. That is to say, Razer Cortex will not stop the syncing process when boosting. If you want to stop sync when playing games, please check this article and stop the process for some hours.
