i really love my huntsman mini but if it broke my pc i just have to let it go ... i went blackwidow v3 instaed ... at least until they fix it but i won't take the risk that easily. I don't recommend go insider or preview for a keyboard 😕
For me the loading screen was faster but taskbar crashes

It didn't fix it to me

i think it only fixes the taskbar crashing at starup but the welcome loading screen still takes a while

this is a temporary fix but windows is forcing this update every 3 days or so on my pc and doesnt even ask me just installs it back

You can pause the updates. Just press "pause updates for 7 days" couple of times.

Here is my case answer:

Greetings! This is Rich again from Razer Escalation Team.

Thank you for your patiently waiting. What I have in had now is a quick fixed only not the real fixed. This was though the effort of my colleague and the team, we find a temporary solution that might help to solve for the meantime until our internal team will provide a fix via software update.

We found out that if you uninstall an specific update on your Windows (4598242) the issue of freezes and lagging of the task bar will be fix.

Let us know if this step help you with your issue.

But its old update and I cant install it manually. 😑 No one deleted this.

What do you mean to install it? Razer says to uninstall it. I could uninstall it but cant reboot now. I'll tell you about this fix later.

Oh sry 😃, my mistake. I dont have such update and thought installling it would point me to issue.

"This was though the effort of my colleague and the team, we find a temporary solution" Yeah, sure. User jjklee found this out (4th page of this thread).
This is update from 12 jan 2021 so its not an old update.
Maybe this work for some users but for me after uninstalling this nothing changes. I tested this keyboard even on january 2019 verision of windows and still experiencing the issue.

I think so, but there is no ETA like they said and they know about this issue for couple of months so I think they are taking their time XD Maybe in 2022 we will got a fix ;P

Well, they might know about this months ago but they were isolated cases and didnt pay much attention. They escalated the case recently so we have to count from the escalation date i think

Sadly, no. Thats the last e mail I got from them:
"We would like you to know that as of January 28, 2021, there is still no update on your case. Rest assured we will update you as soon as we already receive feedback on your case from the appropriate department. We will try to update your request from time to time. Thank you for your patience."
And they didnt update my request. I dont know how its taking them so long to fix this issue. Im starting to lose my patience.

this is getting ridiculous.... are they even trying to fix it??
IsidroP
Well, lets hope at least windows fix those problems.
Someone with the issue ticket has any news?

Unstable in which way?

ctrl+alt+del not working always, some Radeon Software ui bugs when strating any game for 1-10sec. New but weird window animation. New OC behavior with GPU. Cant reach old OC profile, may be new AMD Gpu drivers cause this. And official bug list:
Known issues

  • Miracast users may experience very low frame rates in this build.
  • We’re looking into reports of the update process hanging for extended periods of time when attempting to install a new build.
  • We’re investigating an issue impacting the reliability of Start and other modern apps, which started in the previous flight. If you are impacted, you may experience the Start menu layout resetting.
  • Live previews for pinned sites aren’t enabled for all Insiders yet, so you may see a grey window when hovering over the thumbnail in the taskbar. We’re continuing to work on polishing this experience.
  • We’re working on enabling the new taskbar experience for existing pinned sites. In the meantime, you can unpin the site from the taskbar, remove it from the edge://apps page, and then re-pin the site.
  • [News and interests] Sometimes the news and interests flyout cannot be dismissed with pen.
  • [News and interests] News and interests uses more taskbar space on the left than expected.
  • [News and interests] The taskbar button can show stale information each time the user signs into their Windows session.
  • [News and interests] The news and interests flyout shows content in a single column before quickly switching to double column.
  • [News and interests] Text in taskbar button can look pixelated in high resolution screens.
  • [News and interests] Attempting to share content dismisses the flyout.
  • [News and interests] In certain situations, the flyout may not dismiss until the taskbar button is clicked or the hover effect may appear stuck.
  • [ARM64] Insiders who installed the preview version of the Qualcomm Adreno graphics driver on the Surface Pro X may experience reduced brightness of the display. This will be addressed in a future update.
  • [ADDED 2/1] Some Insiders have reported that their PC experiences PC an IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL bugcheck when attempting to upgrade to Build 21301. We are working on a fix and will let you know when it’s included in an upcoming flight.
Maybe its because they have the shit synapse software hard baked into the keyboard so everytime the keyboard boots from cold and tries to install synapse its just causing multiple errors.

Tbh it should not have this hard baked into the keyboard anyway as you dont need it to operate 99% of the keyboards functions.

RAZOR TAKE THIS CRAP OUT!!

I'm having the same problem. Razer should give us at least the old firmware for a temporary fix.

So, what's it's causing this i thought it was a bad pc upgrade from my part but never from razer. I don't have another keyboard to solve this problem. The problem is named AppHangB1 explorer.exe not responing is in the control panel. PLEASE WE NEED A FIRMWARE UPDATE ASAP
