Problems after the update on 06.11.23. Headphones Razer BlackShark v2 stopped working THX special audio

It would be better if they just returned the old version and that’s it! Previously, when I wanted to watch a movie or play a game, I would select the “thx device”, and if I wanted to listen to music, then the “Razer sound card”. Now the difference is not very noticeable. If you connect via the 3.5mm jack and enable surround sound through the realtek console, the sound will be the same. Therefore, a Razer sound card is no longer needed..

BlackShark v2, got new udate right now and still no changes between Stereo and THX...

THX still doesn't work
EQ doesn't work
Haptic doesn't work
bass boost doesn't work I have to re-plug the dongle after switching form speaker to headphone to initialize the Kraken v3 Pro

Basicly, it's a $ 300 piece of sh*t

same with blackshark v2. It does not work correctly even after update 20231116

I will never buy the products of this company again. To the requests of people to give the opportunity to use the old driver. they give a new one after a week, which again does not work.

Same here, it either either breaks or it simply doesn't work

After today's update Blackshark v2 is not working properly again. Sound is terrible, no virtualization, keeps using Generic USB audio driver. I don't notice any change from yesterday! 

Edit: reinstall Synapse 3 two times.

I have Blackshark v2 and the update didn’t help, nothing changed as if it wasn’t there. It’s disgusting that I didn’t think that the company itself would create such a problem. It's crap and not support. I won't buy this company's products again.

No it isn't. The device should recognize the Razer driver and use it.

Its using it just not like u think. It's more complex. Services drivers ect. It's integrated now. 

Trust me, I know what I'm talking about. I used both SteelSeries Sonar and Razer's THX Spatial Audio - Surround Sound Application. They work as expected. The device recognizes the company audio virtualization driver. For some reason, installing Synapse 3, the device does not use / recognize the Razer driver, it uses the Windows Generic USB audio driver. And the sound sucks. It has nothing in terms of quality with the sound before the 07.11 update. At least with Razer Blackshark v2.

exactly, and it depends on the device  that you are using.

 

Mine got better, but if I sellect “Razer Audio Controller - Game” there is no sound. I have to sellect “Raze Audio Controller - Chat”.

I am using Kraken Tournament Edition.
