Razer Kiyo disconnects and crashes applications when used

Hi. This just suddenly started happening after I was using my camera, where the Razer Kiyo’s light ring just started rapidly blinking and the whole camera started shaking and making a buzzing noise. I unplugged it to stop this, which stopped the rapid shaking and buzzing. However, when I plugged the camera back in, as soon as I tried to use it again, it would show only one frame from the camera before crashing the application that used the camera. I tried with the camera app and the Razer Synapse app (which crashes now whenever I try to go access the Razer Kiyo in the app), and these both break it. After the application crashes, the camera will get disconnected and will no longer show up in the device manager and trying to go to the camera app again will show that I do not have a camera connected. Sometimes, it will pop up with an error saying the USB Device is not recognized. After the device disconnects from my computer, the little notch of light on the camera will keep blinking despite this.

I’ve tried unplugging/replugging it in, using different ports, uninstalling the driver for it, updating the firmware, updating razer synapse, and restarting my computer, and still have no luck.

If anyone knows how I could fix this it would be greatly appreciated!

Hello, @TooMuchGamin!

Try to restart your PC and repair your Synapse software. You can also try it on a different PC just to check if the same issue occurs. If it does, then send me a PM along with your Razer Kiyo’s serial number so I can check for other troubleshooting steps that we can attempt.
