razer kiyo not working

my razer kiyo says "The current settings on your camera is different from Razer Synapse" and I can not use any of the camera settings, the kiyo works fine with other software. I have reset the device, reinstalled synapse 3, and more but it still says that, any way to fix it.

I did reach out to razer and they replied, they gave me some things to try, none worked, and asked for some info, waiting for the 2nd reply.

I did a fresh install following the method given by Razer. So that's the source of everyone's problem I think.
I will see what it looks like on my pc where the camera works.
So for comparison.

Hi, I got an update, for me everything is working fine. The bug is normally patch I think.
also patched and is working fine now! Glad I had this thread to keep going back to.

• Go to Control Panel ► System & Security ► System ► Device Management ► Cameras ► Razer Kiyo.
• Razer Kiyo double-click.
• Open Device Driver ► Update ► Search on my Computer ► Select from a list on my computer.
• Select USB video device.
• Restart your computer.

The dumb bug is fixed (finally) but the profiles can't be saved. Tried switching between profiles and there are no changes. I mean it didn't work before so... I'm not surprised. Support is shit, believe it or not... I'm STILL trying to send my files to support because it seems that sending 3 - 10 Mb worth of files they are asking for is apparently too much for their system to handle. smh.

At least I'm able to finally configure my camera again. Cant switch profiles? LEAVE IT. I'd rather they stop breaking anything again. That's how low I'm setting the bar for them. 😕

For my part everything works including the profiles, to see if someone has the same problem as you 🙂
Ah, then maybe it might be me. What did you do to create a new profile, tweak it and switch between profiles? Possible to walk me through just in case if I did it wrong.

*edit* ah ok. I know what is wrong now. Yea, mine works too. Pity that the advance settings such as pan and zoom doesn't get applied specifically to the profile :slightly_sad:

I had someone from Raze all afternoon to fix the problem but nothing yet. From what I read on this forum it is indeed a bug that lingers. The cause remains undetermined for me, I sent them my synapse logs. He should contact me tomorrow I will ask him if a patch is planned by the developers (as soon as possible) :)

Ever any word on this?
I just recently bought this camera & am now facing this same issue unfortunately. 😞
