I'm new to the Synapse world, this is my First Razer that I owned (full disclosure, I did have one for a few days but coilwhine caused me to return it). How do you handle your performance modes? I was thinking of just leaving it in gaming mode so I didn't have to worry about it, but wasn't sure if there were any negative side effects. I would assume faster battery drain.
Hi, is it possible to get Hypershift work with SHIFT/ALT/CTRL. In my example, I use hypershift on keyboard to chance keybinds on razor mouse. For example, Numbers 1-4 and numbers 5-8 share same buttons, but 1-4 is without hypershift pressed, and 5-8 is with hypershift. Now I like to add modifier. SHIFT + 1 until SHIFT + 4 works fine. But the numbers 5-8 cant get combined with SHIFT or ALT or CTRL. I want to achieve(Examples): SHIFT + First Mouse Thumb Button => Shift + 1 ALT+ First Mouse Thumb Button => ALT+ 1 SHIFT + HYPERSHIFT + First Mouse Thumb Button => Shift + 5 ALT+ HYPERSHIFT + First Mouse Thumb Button => ALT+ 5 SHIFT/ALT/CTRL are correctly bound on hypershift layer on keyboard. Any ideas ?
I wanted to switch to razer ecosystem with mice, keyboard and headset, some longer time ago. Meanwhile I'm far away from this, only use the orbweaver with Synapse2, sold or disconnected naga and keyboard. Actually I'm running Logitech, Steelseries, Roccat and Razer drivers in parallel. The only driver, that is permanently making problems is the Razer's one ! All others work fine, let me programm keys, macros, switching profiles according to game executable without delay. I can use them online, offline, no crashes, no CPU workload. Only Synapse permanently has problems, loosing profile, switching back and foward withount sense. Once more: Why is only Razer totally incapable of producing smooth running drivers for their expensive equipment ???
Just wanted to chime in and say that it would be great if Synapse allowed you to switch power profiles based on whether the laptop is plugged in or not. There's almost no point to running my Stealth in "Creator" or "Balanced" mode when it's unplugged, and no point to running it anything except "Creator" when it's plugged in. Windows can already be set to Battery Saver as soon as the laptop is unplugged, but I occasionally forget to switch to Low Power in Synapse when I sit down at a cafe to get work done, only to find an hour or so later that my battery is half gone.
I am using a Razer Naga mouse and as of May 1st the Synapse does not register it, but my color settings are still working, I just cant use any of my macros or open anything in the synapse. I tend to swap between macros 5-10 times in a day for certain profiles, and it was working until it just suddenly wasn't (never closed synapse). I have tried rebooting, changing the USB port, and uninstalling than reinstalling Synapse. Nothing works. Windows 10 home edition The menu it is stuck on. https://imgur.com/72SrORi
I'm getting tired of my Synapse 3 that keep disconnecting/reconnecting my Razer peripherals at random time. Sometimes, it disconnect entirely and need to restart my PC forcefully. The problem didn't occurs to me when I uninstalled Synapse 3.0 or not login into synapse. But I can't use my custom profile if I did that. I wish razer at least update it with offline while retain the basic functions. I know it's still in Beta. But, at least can Razer put offline mode feature while at it.
Have they ever made a tournament driver that works on a mac? I use my razer mouse in conjunction with video editing software, but some of the post production houses I work at won't allow the computers online for security reasons. We mostly work off macs, and I'm finding this really frustrating, as I basically can't use my mouse at all if that computer can't get online. For the amount this mouse costs, there's got to be a workaround for this.
Hello, I noticed global macros are new with the new update but I cant find any documentation anywhere on how to use them. All I know is that you push a button on your razer device and it will read it as Shift+Ctl+6 and you can assign a macro to that, but I am like, thats what you do anyways with the buttons and the macros.....?? I dont get it can someone please explain to me how to use them and what they are for please? Thanks!
I have tried, and failed, to install Synapse 2 and 3 on my Mac OS X 10.14. The Installer gets all the way to validating the packages an then: The installation failed. The Installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance. So. Here I am, asking for assistance. And in order to save time: I do not have any anti-virus or firewalls active. Any help would be great. Thanks
Hi everyone, I have a problem with my razer synapse 2. It all runs fine as it should one day, I wiggle to reset my PC, I download all my games and programs .. and razer synapse I can log in to my user but cannot access my keyboard. It keeps saying I need to register my protector, but I can't do that now I have already done so. I can't remove my keyboard and add it again. There are no problems with synapse 3. but will use 2! : D I hope some can help me, I'm a little lost. Translated with google translate !!!
Greetings! I'm using Razor Naga (and really happy with it, considering it the best mouse for me ever existed). So, I'm doing some complex and long macros via Synapse, which execute for more than a 5 minutes or more. And in such a long periods of time there could happen... say, an unpredictable situations which require an immediate attention, so I have to instantly FORCE STOP any macros processing and do what must be done with those situations. Well, that is the question, right in this topic's header.
My Razer Naga Chroma broke. Bought the Razer Naga Trinity. Razer Naga Trinity not recognized on Synapse 2. My Orbweaver Chroma and 2013 Blackwidow aren't recognized on Synapse 3. There should be a tad more compatibility between the two versions. Yes, Synapse 3 is in Beta, but then it should only be an option to use for the trinity naga, not it's only dedicated software. Lame
Hello everyone ,this is my first time posting and it is due to a weird issue I experienced during the last synapse update as everything was working perfect before hand. Whenever I have synapse running and in game, my 2nd 1080 will drop to around 50% usage while the first 1080 stays at full load, not only does this cause a noticeable frame rate drop, but it seems that it is still trying to run in SLI so frame times skyrocket, artifacts appear and every game that actually supports SLI becomes completely unplayable(SLI issues? whaaaaaat?). As soon as I disable synapse, in game or not, my usage and frame rates both go back up. Its not that massive of an issue because everything still works, I am just unable to control the chroma portion of my setup. I may be wrong in this assumption, but it seems to me that the issue arose as soon as the screen awareness option was implemented. Rolling back nvidia drivers did not solve the issue so I resorted to rolling back the synapse and it works but I
Hi there ! Just as the title says, Synapse 3 refuses to launch when I start my pc; I have to manually launch it. In the settings menu, both Auto-Launch options are checked. I've also tried to force it to launch at startup with Task Schedule system app & through the system's register. Nothing works. This started a few days ago when I was trying to fix another problem (Synapse would start, but not minimized, and staying on top of any window, although the option was checked from day 1 and I never changed it). All I did was uncheck both, close Synapse, reboot, then open Synapse manually, check both both settings again, then reboot again. After this, Synapse stopped automatically launching, even though the 2 options are checked in the options menu. I ran out of ideas so I'm asking you guys for help. As a Side note, I've checked all services through services.msc (right after booting); All Razer services are running except for "Razer Synapse Service" and "Razer Game Manager Service". These t
Razer Surround Pro was working fine with my previous USB headset. I switched to a new pair of headsets which use an audio jack pair (sound and microphone), but since then whenever I reboot the sound is not correct (sounds default/aweful, definitely not through razer surround) until I turn razer surround OFF then back ON again (it always reboots set to ON which is fine) then its back to awesome again. If I then close down and reopen Razer Surround everything is fine an I do not have to manuall toggle it ON, so the issue is only after a Reboot or resume from Sleep, like it has not engaged with the OS/Hardware correctly. Why could this be? I have disabled all sound devices in windows except Razer Surround and the on board sound card.

I purchased my razer basilisk mouse less than a year ago and recently there's been issues with the synapse 3 software (not the mouse itself). I set the polling rate of the mouse to 1000hz but whenever I switch profile (i.e. when starting a game) my polling rate goes down to 500hz. Even though my polling rate goes down to 500hz. the software itself is still showing it is at 1000hz. I tested this by using this website https://zowie.benq.com/ja/support/mouse-rate-checker.html . The issue is while the mouse can be used at 1000hz polling rate, for some reason the setting gets changed to 500hz when the profile is changed. Same is true for 125hz. Polling rate still changes to 500hz instead of staying at 125hz when changing profiles. Anyone know how to fix?
Well, I was enjoying some good music and went to the kitchen to get fuel for my Apex/Code session, anyway the transceiver is great for the short distances but once the number of interferences increases i.e. brick & mortar or other signals [Wi Fi] it understandably causes connectivity failure. This song is quite good. Is it possible to configure the receiver on the headset to that it could possibly connect over your own wi-fi network which in general has greater coverage. I am unsure of the hardware specifications or what wireless technology was used for communication between the transceiver and headset. I am hoping it's some low powered wi-fi antenna, which gives me hope that by utilising some clever coding a VOIP connection or something to the same effect to stream audio to the headset over your home network. Can someone give me a bit more insight into what technologies were utilized developing this AMAZING headset?
