This has been discontinued for a very long time, I had one and liked it a lot but was forced to upgrade during synapse 3 lifetime.

Please add support for RZ01-01360100-R3U1 ( Razer mamba wireless chroma with dock 16000 dpi)
So that I no longer need to use synapse 1. It’s amazing how third party softwares can manage all my stuff with zero performance loss. Even my old mamba, my huntsman elite, razer firefly…. One program, without 10 background process.

Please add the ability to change the layout in Synapse for keyboard macros from AZERTY to QWERTY etc. I bought a AZERTY accidently so I swapped all the keys on the keyboard to QWERTY keys and changed the layout in windows 11 to QWERTY but synapse still shows AZERTY in the macros section.

I finally made the upgrade leap which I had been putting off as it meant reconfiguring all my preferences and profiles. The new version is noticeably faster (especially during startup), but is rather rough around the edges with quite a few glitches and inconsistencies.

The amount of background processes it spawns is still alarming. Sometimes over 30 processes reserving over 1GB of memory. Baffling how it can be so bloated. The Razer dev team seem to think multi-threading = multiple processes.

It is now Synapse 4. In the beginning didn't work for me on the macros, but the other modules were incredibly faster. After 3 months I tried again and the macros worked and now work very fast for me.

Here is the announcement of the New Synapse 4 (I think): Thank You For Being a Beta Tester | Razer Insider

Ich weiß nicht warum, aber wenn ich auf den Link für die Liste der unterstützten Geräte klicke, bekomme ich erst, dass ich keine Berechtigung habe, die Liste anzuzeigen und einen Administrator kontaktieren soll....

Since I try to use Synapse 4, it creates a lot of issues. very often happends the keyboard (Razer Laptop and external Razer keyboard) the keys are locked and triggers the keyinput a long time after the key was released. This issue is very problematic…. Last time while editing a word document it remove the whole long text….

Is an integration into the “Razer Central” planned? it makes no sense to have Synapse separate…

This is what worked. I opened syn4 and saw the detecting device loop. Opened device manager and sorted by container. Every strider device that can be disabled I disabled. Then uninstalled any component until it was gone from device manager. Did a hw scan and boom, syn4 found it. So to recap uninstall the mat from device manager. good luck

Guess what. Just got the Strider Chroma and it is looping on detecting it. Downgrading to 3 works but upgrading to back to 4 didn’t work like it did for the Tart…..The cost of the mat is not just retail, it’s time wasted doing this.

None of my bugs were fixed, but they added Snap Tap to Huntsman V2 and it doesn’t even work. :D

can i install both Synapse?

This new one is better but it seems it makes my PC more unstable. obviously i don’t know how,. i suppose because it uses things like Visual C++ library or something else that is used from most of the softwares.

i don’t want to uninstall stable synapse every time i want to test the new one...is it possible?

You can’t. You cannot have two different software controlling the same hardware.

All the bugs I reported two versions ago are still present. Don’t bother.

Blade 14 2024? No? Progress? No?

Is it like, one singular guy that’s working on this? Apparently this has been in beta for ages, and progress is dirt slow?

Maybe someone needs to create a GHelper equivalent to Synapse...

So I saw that the tartarus pro is supported on that list. I just bought it to replace orbweaver and old school synapse. And what do you know it, the tile pops up and it spins forever. Anyone with a tart pro have any luck? I’m about to return it.
