Will we get a option or ability to tell what was “Updated” in the Beta?
I am told everyday that its been updated but I see no changes.

When will the new Razer Viper V3 Pro be added?

Jetzt erkläre mir mal bitte, was daran Lustig sein soll?!

English? Common!

Why is this an open Beta project, so much noise will come in. Also this forum is not good for this kind of work.. THe search is very much broken, so trying to search for already excisting bug reports is pretty much undoable.

I had noticed this beta was out a couple monhts ago. But after reading some more, this beta app was out already almost 2 years ago. Read something on Reddit from a post a year ago, there it stated that the app already 8 months but with hardly any  updates.

I noticed the app is super fluid, though again uses to much RAM for my liking. Also found some major issues when trying to import old chrome profiles, simply doesnt work properly. ANother issue is layerin effects doesnt work since the transparency in color is not applied making the color black. There for layering is impossible to work

But mostly, why do an Beta on a forum where only users seem to be. I dont think ive ever seen official Razor employees here. A beta means you want feedback and take feedback, possibly with communication both ways. I see so many weird posts here about bugs and only users reply.

When are you planning to fix Chroma RGB sync in Synapse 4? It’s currently very broken.

And when are you planning to support Windows Dynamic Lighting?

Windows Dynamic Lighting is enabled for some devices. If you still don’t have this feature supported, check if there’s new firmware available for it - because some devices got this function enabled via FW update.

Which devices? I can’t see any firmware updates for my devices. If not all devices are enabled, what’s the point of it? Then you can’t sync lighting effects and you’ll still need to use manufacturer software…

I’ve read that the new Synapse beta app would integrate with WDL but it doesn’t show up or seem to work with it.

Edit: If it’s this very limited list then none of my 5 Razer devices are supported, not even the brand new ones...

In my opinion it has to be integrated on firmware level if you want to use WDL without Synapse. For eg. DeathStalker V2 Pro FW: https://mysupport.razer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/6249/~/razer-deathstalker-v2-pro-firmware-updater-%7C-rz03-0436

In the newest 2.x firmware they’ve added WDL support “Enabled LampArray feature“ (probably it’s some API function for WDL). So if you don’t have the latest available firmware, then it may not work.

I’ve tried WDL on BlackWidow V3, and it’s working correctly. But disabled this and sticked to Chroma.

Thanks for this firmware - it’s newer than what is on their site. Is there any way I can find if there’s new firmware for the Basilisk v3 Pro & Mouse Dock Pro as well?

🤣 You must be joking right? The Beta is no more broken than Synapse 3!! Which other than it not seeing more than one controller is far better.. Now the latest beta is full ok bugs and the performance suck.. On top of the fact it literally kills, itself over seeing more than one controller!! How a 3rd part like SingalRGB does a better job at the software than the business that provided it is shocking and sad to see such low quality rubbish being ship out.

Launching soon?

It would be really neat if Synapse Beta could support Independent RGB lighting on two of the same units, such as the Firefly V2 Pro that just launched.  Think about it:  one for your Naga or weapon of choice, and one for the Tartarus or weapon of choice without the color differences of the black and white ones which could ultimately kill the look somewhat for certain those of us.  Might take some extra programming steps. Assign a digital SN to match the sticker SN somewhere so that Chroma could differentiate two identical devices and split them up Via SN.  One day, perhaps… *eyes widen* but NOT.. Today...

Hi,

I just got my Firefly V2 Pro, but it appears as “Device in development”.

Can I expect an update shortly, or is it already supported by the regular Synapse ?

Thanks a lot

Haw are you

This software doesn’t “support” Naga Left-Handed 2014, it just tells you to install Synapse 2. Why is the mouse listed as “supported”?

Razer Barracuda does not install the THX driver in the latest Windows 11 Pro. The New Razer Synapse  beta !!!!!

Mac OS support would be nice

My 2024 Razer Blade 14 being supported would be nice… lol

To all people who’ve been experiencing the default GPU set to ‘Low’ after restart: do you happen to use CCleaner or alternative software? I always run an automatic custom clean upon starting my PC, but in my experience, after having excluded the following folders from cleaning, the issue appears to be resolved:

  • C:\Program Files\Razer\Razer Synapse Beta Setup\
  • C:\ProgramData\Razer\Razer Synapse Beta\

Now the custom GPU setting at ‘High’ does remain after restarting.

I don’t use CCleaner or any similar programs but I’ve noticed after the latest update my GPU is no longer reverting to low. I haven’t been on my computer for a few days so I don’t know when they released version 4.0.86.38, but I’m assuming that’s what fixed it (if it’s actually fixed and not just messing with me). So far so good.

After a week and many more shutdowns/logins I can confirm it now saves GPU/CPU power settings.

Pals, it is Beta. Beta has bugs. Beta needs testers. Beta isn't a final product. I did my job, located some bugs, sent it to Razer support, and then returned to Synapse 3 until the day they sort it out. Work done. I'm looking for news, and waiting happily.

Ddifference between me and you is your devices work in Synapse 3. Some of mine don't but they do in Beta. But beta, I have to keep rekeybinding every time I load up the computer, macros don't work, devices disconnected.

So that's a huge problem. Have you checked if these applications that do not work in Synapse 3 are compatible with Synapse 3? Have you tried a hard reset on them?

Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro middle click not working without synapse running...

Don't even bother downloading the update no bugs have been fixed. Useless. Selling all my shit gonna go Logitech or something. Can't use Synapse 3 or beta with some if my stuff.

As you can see, my speaker is Razer Leviathan V2, but Razer Synapse recognizes it as Razer Nommo V2 Pro.

It would be nice if the Kraken Tournament Edition was included, because the surround sound in synapse 3 hasn't worked during the game for about half a year!
