Synapse keeps logging me out randomly for the past few months. At first, it was not a big deal. It happened only when I restarted my PC. But lately it keeps happening even when I am doing something...
I am browsing the internet ? Logout.
I am watching movie with friends ? Logout.
I am playing online game, and I am in a middle of shoot-out ? Logout.
You never expect when it happens. It is just tiresome at this point. Anything I try to do, do not work. Repairing did not fix the problem (https://mysupport.razer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/4535). Clean installation of Synapse did not work. At this point, I wonder if uninstalling it is not the best option here. I will wait for a fix to this problem. Having this same issue here. I booted the PC up, got to the desktop and it asks me to login to razer. I do so, then it just pops me right back and asks me to do it again. Over and over and over.
This is the App Engine by the way. Forgot to post this last time, so here it is now. I am also getting this message.
For me i’m trying to log in Razer appengine and when i do log in it instantly logs me out
I had this issue. Blocking connection in and out of rzappengine.exe with Windows firewall fixed it for me.
Think I have a solution. My razer cortex and synapse was logging me out every 10 minutes and has been doing this for a while now. I think now its because it was out of date or the old update is broken. To work around this go to “apps and features” and select “uninstall” (Dont worry you wont have to uninstall it). Following this it brings up the options for uninstalling it through the razer software and this inclusdes the option to simply update it. Once I logged in after this it seems to be working fine and has not logged me out yet. It logged me in instantly to after I restarted my computer too. I dont know if this is a long term fix but it seems to have worked so far. If you cant use your synapse for more than 10 minutes at a time its worth a shot.

I’ve had the Razer AppEngine issue yesterday and nothin - including the reinstall - worked, but today the problem seems to be gone.
This started happening to me like a week ago - every time after rebooting i’m logged out and i have to re-enter my password - today it logged me out in the middle of watching a twitch stream?!
Why the f***** do my peripherals REQUIRE an internet connection anyways? It’s so dumb.
Yup, I too continue to have the same problem. Ever since I started using Razer Synapse to finally be able to stop this extremely annoying default rainbow blinking on my keyboard. All I want is to fkn turn off the lights. But every single time I restart my PC, it switches back to said max brightness default, and sometimes it takes around 5 rounds of restarting and task manager ending, then again admin-running all razer programs to get it working again. RIght now tho, it keeps asking me to login on the SAME PAGE I just logged in one second ago. It does not stop.
I have the newest updates for everything, all requirements, run it as admin. It doesn’t work. The fact I am required internet to change the lights of my keyboard is ridiculous as is, but this? Whoever on earth came up with this concept might want to, with all due respect, fix their ****. Every day of dealing with this brings me closer to boycotting Razer in general and simply replacing their products with simple cheap ones that can’t blind you in the first place, this only gets everincreasingly annoying over time.
Please fix this issue which appears to have been going on for months now, if not years. Nobody pays hundreds of dollars for their equipment to then spend months dealing with this.
Oh, and yes, of COURSE I chose “keep me logged in”. It doesn’t even keep me logged in for 2 minutes, let alone on the next PC startup.

Right now, as of Jun 21, 2023, the issue is, in fact, NOT RESOLVED. Even after checking that I truly have the very latest update. Are you kidding me?
Fixed?!? It’s worse than ever!!!! I get logged out every 5 minutes.

win10, using razer ornata v3, blackshark v2, naga trinity, atm my keyboard and mouse morphed into garbage
This is really tilting me, i have to log into an app to use my frigin speakers. Safe to say im not buying a razer products in the future, this is kinda redicilous

This worked for me, too - it took a moment because more kept popping up but after I closed all Razer instances it properly loaded up again, haven’t had this issue since.

This works for me, but I have to do it a few times a week. It doesn’t completely fix the issue, just fixes it on the current occurrence. Having to go through this so often is just annoying at this point. Today it took 2 resets across 10 minutes to finally get stuff working.

This is the workaround I’ve been using as well, however the issue comes back literally 1-2 hours later and the entire cycle starts anew.
I have the same issue. It was once a month then once a week now it is every day. I have to login again and then restart my computer. It is pretty ridiculous that 1) this isn’t fixed by now. 2) That I can’t even control the colors on my keyboard, mouse and mouse bad because I can’t log in.
If you are going to make me login to use you product. Make the login system work!
I also have it worsen more recently, I thought it was the Razer Chroma Addressable RGB Controller's fault because I connected it and it started throwing me out more often and SYNAPSE screams to me that "DC CONNECTION REQUIRED" and I have it connected well and tested. But what annoys me more is the problem of logging out of losing game profiles and modes during gameplay. I never know when he will kick me out!!!
Same Problem, keeps logging me out and I need to end all razer tasks with the task manager to be able to log in again. My device settings are not working without software running (why?). Since I actually use custom key mappings, I just can’t play most games without.
Mite as well add to the thread. It’s been going on for months now. I keep my PC off till I go to play and it’s 50/50 chance if it loads my preset or not. Before it was flawless. Now it’s basically every time. It’s set to admin. I think it’s ridiculous that there’s 0 feedback from Razer. I’ve considered just getting a Logitech Keyboard and being done with them.
So after all this, Razer still hasn’t given us a fix or even bothered with a reply?? I’ve had a software update I think what was it, 5 days ago? I thought it fixed it.. it has in fact fixed it for a whole 2 days before the problem started reappearing.. What the hell is going on????

Thank you, this was the fix for me. Synapse on the desktop was saying I was up to date, but after looking at the uninstall wizard I was clearly a couple version out of date.
Same, this is last time I am using any Razer device. Their software is trash
