Hi all, I have the Razer Kraken TE Edition with Game/chat balance and everything was working fine months and months ago until one day, I tried using the Chat Audio through Discord and have my game played on Game Audio but the Kraken Mic is not detected. If I switch and activate my Razer Kraken Mic, the chat audio got disabled likewise. These happens vice versa with the Chat audio and mic, Game audio seems to work fine. I tried a couple of troubleshoots like changing the setup at control panel, updating firmware and deleting then installing audio drivers but nothing seems to make it work. Made this account solely for this purpose. Am I the only one experiencing this issue? TLDR; Razer Kraken TE Game Audio working fine, but cant make both Chat audio and Mic work simultaneously. Hi, so i bought my razer blade about a week ago. It's not a bad laptop by any means, but it's missing features you can get on a 900 dollar laptop, like usb-c charging, i would like to be able to charge by a docking station to leave the oem charger in my school bag. Also it's missing a windows hello which you also can get on a cheap pc. It 2400usd but for this price i expect at least some more features. Also my battery was shot straight out of the box, with a battery time that's less then two hours and customer support has been horrible. I get it, the costumer service has been impacted due to Covid-19, but at least compensate by increase warranty period. My conclusion: The laptop is great, the keyboard and mousepad is lovely, the performance exceeds my expectation. The design is flawless, but missing some basic features for the price of 2400usd.

Hey, I recently bought a Razer Blade 2020 Base (RTX 2060), but the 512GB SSD is insufficient for me. I thought this 1TB Samsung SSD might be a good choice. It got faster read and write specs and Samsung is known for good storage. But I'm not sure whether installing the OS on the larger and faster SDD or keep in on the slow one. If I decide to move the OS to the new SSD I'm also not sure how it should work. Did you guys get any idea what's the better choice?

Anyone tell me which ram upgrade to buy for my new laptop? Model stated above: 15.6" razer blade i7 10750 RTX 2060 Don't have serial number as have to wait 2 weeks for new laptop to arrive. Want to order Ram in advance so I'm good to go day my computer arrives. It ships with 16gb but looking to purchase the full 2 x32gb possible. Are both DDR4 2933MHZ & DDR4 3000MHZ Compatible? I have better pricing & Manufacturer options for 3000mhz ram set so would buy that if it's compatible. Razer have been unhelpful via live chat, email or phone. They refuse to help w/o serial number (but they must be able to identify model from specs as only one laptop matched that?!). 1 agent suggested my model might be have reference : RZ09 - 0328 & that I needed X2 2933mhz but it's a lot to spend with little reassurance. Anyone out there that can help me?

I've read many reviews on Amazon that RAM 3200MHZ modules don't seem to achieve the advertised 3200MHz in the 2020 Razer Blade Pro 17. I just noticed that I can enable G Sync on my 2020 Blade Pro with the 4k 120hz display. Is this a result of the latest driver support? In any case, just wanted to see if anyone has tested this and confirmed working.

Hi, I'm trying to get Windows on the Razer Blade Pro 2017 to properly display 5K resolution on an external LG 34" monitor. I have the monitor connected over the USB-C Thunderbolt port. The maximum resolution available to me is 3840 x 2160 (which is an incorrect aspect ratio). I'm running it at 3440 x 1440 in the meantime, but would like to run at 5120 x 2160. I've tried setting custom resolution in the Nvidia Geforce control panel, but the button is greyed out. No updated display drivers since 2017 seem to exist on the Razer website. Any advice would be appreciated!

Hello, Is it normal that the fans of the Blade 15 I just received are loud even when I do absolutely nothing? I absolutely love this machine except for this loud fans. I'm assuming that they speed too much compared to the temperature or the load of the CPUs/GPUs... I have tried many things (even re-init the computer from fresh start). So several questions: When minimal load on the machine, do you hear the fans? Because most of the time I do... Do you have ways to measure their speed (and eventually to control them)? I have seen softwares like SpeedFan or HWInfo but I couldn't find any info on the fans control. I also looked at the BIOS and found nothing there... My only alternative is to use Synapse but when I go from Automatic to Manual (with minimum speed of 4300 RPM), it seems the fans go even faster (and louder) than before eventhough I put the setting to the minimal. Any help would be welcome

I am getting a 35W+ discharge on a new Blade 15 Advanced (2020) in maximum power saving mode with one browser window and no apps running. I can't get it down to below 10 watts unless I disable wifi. That makes battery life about 1hr45 or so. I have a support ticket in about this but am curious if anyone else has had the same experience.

Anyone know what the TGP variant is for the 2080 Super Max Q on the Razer advanced 2020 model? Does it have the 80W or the 90W version? There are no details on the website for this and I could not find anything online.

i bought my razer blade a week ago on 9/9/2020 and i have had trouble trying to maximize the battery life on the laptop. i am averaging 2 hours on battery saver at keyboard lights and logo lights off and the screen at 50 percent. How can i improve the battery life on my laptop

Not mine, but you get the idea. My first PC was a Gateway 2000 Holiday XL that came with a huge tower. It had 8 MB of RAM and a 1 GB hard disk drive. It was sporting a brand new Windows 95 and I was in love with the thing. Eventually I got into building my computer and for years saved up money for parts and it became one upgrade game after another. As I got older my preferences and tastes changed. Technology got exponentially better and computers became more about work than games and I started using laptops once they got to a decent size and not the cinder blocks they used to be. This is also how I discovered Razer. They were making good looking laptops while other companies were producing textbook sized calculators and Apple was kicking everyone's asses. Fast forward to the present. We're in the middle of a pandemic, hunkering down at home and I find myself spending a LOT more time in front of the computer and playing a lot more games and I start to entertain the idea of going

Hello, all. Bought this laptop in March of 2018 and went on a driver update binge the other night. I pride myself in finding information for myself but it's almost impossible to find a 'driver support page' for my 2018 Razer Blade 17" laptop, model RZ09-02202E75. I was trying to see if there were any firmware updates for the BIOS or anything else I was missing and I'm having the hardest time getting any relevant information. "other products" simply have a page dedicated with drivers for LAN, BT, Intel SRT, etc...but every time I think I find something for the RZ09, my last few numbers don't match up. Hi, I have a Blade 15 (2020) model. I've noticed something strange regarding to USB charging. If I just plug the USB PC compatible docking station to the laptop, it won't just start charging. There are two scenarios that I have to do to activate it. The first scenario is I have to turn the laptop on and shut it down while the USB PD is plugged in. The second scenario is I have to press the power button quickly. Please see the videos I recorded below. Scenario 01 - Turn the PC on and shutdown Scenario 02 Pressing power quickly to activate charging Does anyone have the same problem? How do you fix it? The firmware is up to date as of 07/26/2020. Hi, I just bought 2.5 hdd for my Razer Blade 15 2020 Base Edition and when I opened the laptop's case, I noticed there was no hdd space. Am I missing something or is it actually like that?

Hey, I decided to download Razer Synapse 3.0 and so also took Razer Surround 7.1. But when i went on razer surround 7.1 they asked more for an activation code, i don't have the box of my headset anymore. I thererefore decided to register my Kraken Pro V2 on Razer ID just like it is said on the website. I received an email of confirmation but no activation code. Where and how can i get this code for my headset ? I looked it up and never found a solution... Maybe the Kraken Pro v2 can't do surround 7.1 ? Please help!

My laptop heats up so much when I play games even with fans running high!

When I shut down my Razer Blade 15 Advanced 2018, and then turn it on, it will turn on, and the keyboard lights up, but the screen stays black. If I then shut it down and start it up again, it turns on. Up until a few days ago, when the computer was in sleep mode, it would not come out if it. I updated the EC drivers I believe they were called and that stopped. Is there something that could help with the start up problem? thanks in advance!

I'm currently in the process of selling my desktop PC to replace it with a Core X Chroma, but was disappointed to learn that performance is unnecessarily (and quite severely) bottle-necked by the CPU remaining at 15W instead of bumping up to 25W as detailed in the following review: https://www.theeverydayenthusiast.com/post/review-egpu-with-the-razer-core-x-chroma-late-2019-razer-blade-stealth Is Razer aware of this issue and is there a planned FW update to address this? Does anyone know what the resolution options are for the 15 Advanced 2020 with 4K OLED? i.e. can you change between 2160p, 1440p, 1080p etc.?

Hi guys, just wanted to know if anyone would be able to give me some tips on how to connect my RB15 Adv 2019 to my new TV which has VRR. Will I get VRR with connecting via the laptop's HDMI port to the TV's 4K @ 120hz ports? Or do I need to use the mini displayport on the laptop (as in order to get g-sync with my monitor I needed to use the miniDP connected to my monitor's DP port). If I need to use the miniDP on the laptop, how could I get it hooked up to the TV? Are there specific cables/adapters I need to use? This on the back of my TV: Thanks in advance and stay safe!
