I have just put in an order for a mid-tier 2019 Razer Blade Stealth, fingers crossed there are no QC issues with this one. Anyhow, I am also looking at options to output to my 4K 27" monitor, as I won't be buying a Razer Core for a few months. Will the Stealth output 4K at 60Hz via a USB C to Display Port Adapter or will I need a Thunderbolt 3 to a powered hub to then run display out? Wanting a simple solution to have the stealth docked and the display running for more screen space when needed

Hello, I cant figure out why does Blade15 RTX2080 with nordic keyboad only support primary character lighting... It is even written in specs... Why does the US-keyboard have full character lighting on Advanced Model?

Hello to everyone! This time i want to ask,(hoepfully someone can advice me) about these 2 things: - having a Blade 2019 RTX (and so with WIn 10 Home) i decided to update it to Win 10 Pro. Then i bought a license for Windows 10 Pro but i am worried about how to install it. First :is better to do the update or a clean install from zero? Doing the update i need to insert the code of windows 10 that come with the license that i bought? in this case the license inside the motherboard of the razer that i have goes basically to hell? (and if so for a future bios update the rezer updater wil not recognize my pc?)...then obviously it will happen the same if i do a clean install from zero of the license of Windows pro that i bought right?...But probably the best question is : there are 2 different licenses for windows 10 pro: the one the update the home version and the one that install directly the pro version? or just one for "ALL" ?...i hope someone can clarify this Kaos that i have in m

Hello, So I've read all the battery saving guides and here's what I've done: -installed 500gb samsung pro SATA ssd (using PCIe ssd reason, but it's Idle) -disabled all background apps, turbo boost bluetooth, indexing, dGPU, literally everything -using battery saving mode and undervolted to -150 for CPU and -120 for eGPU, disabled turbo boost -brightness is 20% My CPU never goes past 1gz in save mode so I don't see the issue here, average of .80gz I should be getting at least 5-6 hours of light web surfing, I'll watch a youtube video for like 3 mins then closing it. XTU is not even helping, what's the point of undevolting if I'm in battery saver? I could undervolt even more but seems pointless. Any ideas? Bad battery? Thanks!

After using 2.5 years of my first gen razer blade stealth, it's now slowly falling apart, and I've been fixing it with tape, and other things where it just looks battle-scarred. So i'm thinking about getting a new laptop, however, despite how little of a lifespan my razer blade stealth has lasted, i'm stilling look to buy a new razer laptop, but none of the 2019 version is a good fit for me. So I just want to know what's an estimated time of the next razer blade release based on past released dates, or should i just buy a dell or msi and not wait instead? Thanks,

The thing is that I've upgraded my BIOS to v02.02 & EC 4.0 ...Because of the Meltdown and Spectre vulnerabilities, TPM thing etc. Now my Blade refuses to blow the hot air out of it. I can hear the Fans barely spinning, even if I set the synapse to "Cool mode" and trow some games or benchmarks on it. My temps are 100C on the CPU and 90C on the GPU... Things I've tried so far to resolve the issue: - Contact "Support" - absolutely ridiculous (they even doesn't keep the old BIOS-es in hand) - since it is out of warranty, they can't do anything... They stopped to reply to my emails.... - I've flashed the BIOS a couple of times, even unlocked the Overclocking Features (set to -170) and Thermal Features (the Critical Trip Point set to 119C, WTF). No use... - Tried to set NoteBookFanControl. Can't set it... - Repasted it with Kryonaut paste and Fujipoly pads. Even bought new heatsink. Same temps...

How do I fix game running slow and laggy issues ?

Dear all. Today Synape got an update to 3.4.331.31119. Since then the color of my left ALT key cannot be changed anymore. It does its own thing with lighting effects...switching from yellow to blue to purple but I did not set this up and cannot change it. Anyone knows how to solve this?!

So i play rainbow on my razer blade pro and i can play maybe a couple of rounds then my hole game and discord or any app i have open will disconnect from the internet for like 2 seconds but it makes me lag out and it will do this like ever round making it unplayable for a good bit. this the only game it does it for. Does anyone have this problem and if so how did u fix it

Hey folks, just purchased this as-new (got a great deal!) but 256gb is looking woefully inadequate for my needs. I'm looking to invest in a 1TB internal drive - I hate external ones with a passion as I travel loads and always lose them! My questions are: 1) Can anyone tell me the exact type of SSD I need? The differences between NVMe, M.2 etc etc are all a little too much for me to suss out! What to install to better manage it, what tests to do to see if everything is working perfectly and in case to ask for a replacement if something is wrong in the right way. Getting some nasty whine from my new blade base, got it off Amazon and it's horrid when starting up. I can't be without a laptop again, I waited ages for razer to release the UK RTX with FN key back lighting but caved for the base and single zone. Any software solutions, or what even Is the problem. I purchased a new Razer Blade 15 2019 and would like to encrypt my hard drive for added security. I know that Windows 10 Home (what comes with the product) does not support Bitlocker, but apparently it does support something called Device Encryption. The requirement is that the product have TPM 2.0, which it does as listed in tpm.msc. However, the problem I'm having right now is that under System Information, the following error message is displayed for "Device Encryption Support": Reasons for failed automatic device encryption: Hardware Security Test Interface failed and device is not InstantGo, Un-allowed DMA capable bus/device(s) detected Does anyone have any idea how to fix this error or if it is even fixable? I'm trying to avoid having to pay the $99 upgrade to Windows 10 Pro if possible. Appreciate any help!

A portable power supply, that would be really wonderful. The 230 watt power brick, a literal brick, is not exactly the most portable power supply. That plug is not exactly user friendly either, if I could change anything about the blade 15 would be the power brick and the connector into the laptop.

So currently my less then week old Blade RTX 2080 came out of the box with GeForce drivers 417.59 yet I am seeing GeForce experience telling me I should upgrade my drivers to 419.35? What are people thoughts here - do you guys update as new release come out or let them get better with time and age? Thoughts? Update the drivers or let them ride?

I can't seem to make up my mind. I know the only difference is the screen/graphics combo, so I'm looking for some advice. What would you choose and why? Thanks!

Hey guys, I am a CG Artist with many years of experience. My workstations are mostly big machines, with strong i7 or i9 CPUs, loads of SSDs and such. I mainly work in 3D (modo) and do realistic renderings and compositings of animated stuff mostly in Nuke but also in AE. Having said all that, I am really thinking about getting the new blade as my new system. I could be using it everywhere. My idea was to hook it up to a big screen on my desk and maybe a CoreX later on. For final render I more and more use render-farms anyway. Has anyone any working experience in compositing and complex workflow like 3D and the like with the new blade? I am really curious how it performs and if it's good enough. Cheers

I've read several articles showing that the boost clock for the mobile 2060 should be around 1200mhz. However on my blade I'm getting boost clocks in the 1400 and 1500 range normally and have even seen it hit around 1800 in quick peaks. Is this normal for the blade? do they have it factory overclocked or what? Running Shadow of the tomb raider I'm averaging around 75 fps on the in game benchmark with the highest settings selected if that info helps. Most reviews are of the 2080 max q version so trying to find comparable numbers are kind of hard to come across currently.

How can i justify a purchase of the 2070 RTX Blade 15 in EU when it is €405 overpriced after adding the EU VAT compared to the US price? The Blade RTX 2070 is priced at $2599 (€2302) in the US store and €3259 in the EU store. The EU price includes the VAT which is 24% of the €2302. This equals to a VAT of €552, making the total price €2302 + €552 VAT = €2854. What makes the price difference of €405. The customs is actually €0 for the product. How can the shipping alone cost €405 ($457)? I would happily pay €100 extra for the effort to ship to Finland, but €405 is absolutely absurd for something that is not even handled by Razer. I would have already placed the order if this was not the case. Don't you want to make sales in Razer or is it really this easy to fool the EU customers?
