That’s great score. Do you mean overclocking gpu +180 on core and +250 on memory clock right?
Side note 2018 model isn’t 2070 but 1070, should i correct it again:smile_:

fixed thanks. yes I meant core / mem clock. I actually think i had that GPU OC core/mem as 50/250 when I tested.

If you’ve good cpu silicons lottery try -150 or maybe -160mv undervolting usually on synthetic benchmarks it can go lower than gaming, and rtx Card memory frequency can be OC a lot, on egpu 2080 I can push it to max afterburner value 1000mhz, but you can maybe try 600 or 700mhz. And for Core Clock i thought you had +180 which’s great for 2080 on full desktop Evga 2080 on Razer Core i can only get 160. But if it’s +50 it should go higher.

Of course it’s not a “obligation“;) but some users stress their system first to know its limits and 3Dmark is great and fun to do than usual stress test because it has score achievement. In 2018 1070maxq we made magic 15K score, users try to catch that firestrike overall score, it was pretty fun. On daily usage I don’t use that 15K profile anyway, only sometimes for showing:wink_: Maybe for 2019 model magic 18,5K:smile_:
I think you don’t have to be worried if you don’t use it daily, even when it crash windows has automatic protection called bsod lol:big_grin_:

If only these were available for LGA 1155 socket

Blade15 is most compact 15 inch gaming laptop, and I don’t think there’s 15inch laptops that support lga socket due cooling room and can deliver power to those desktop class cpu, correct me if I’m wrong, latest hardware maybe on 17inch Area 51m and some barebone Clevo laptops and usually comes with dual power brick for support the hardware.
A heck lot better than my Chromebook!

Mine makes these sounds, too. But only when plugged in.

Charging Beep, maybe? For some reason I think most chargers work like AEDs. Charge, Clear, inject power into battery.
Can anyone with the OLED screen version check what is his discharging ratio overnight with the computer switched off. I have tested it two night now in a raw where before go to sleep I unplugged it from the power source and what I've noticed is that the battery level with the computer switched off within a range of 8-9 hours drops down to 89%-91%. That's quite a lot I would say. Then I found this thread /razer-blade-14-battery-self-discharge-fixed.17151/ with a similar issue and mentioning that the cause was the FAST STARTUP feature of the windows. However, after disabling it, I did not see any difference. Thus, I would appreciate if someone could test this on his rig.

Still there are things that fall under one's own responsibility - and selling one's kidney really qualifies as that - and just because there are sad cases of poor misguided ppl who were duped into doing such a thing happening does not mean one can not make a joke or a figure of speech - because honestly a lot of really cruel things happen in this world - so if we start to be offended by ppl who are saying something that reminds us or others of these cruelties then we soon may not talk at all - anything you say could be constructed to look like a reference to something awful.
Also - this is a razer forum - you can expect ppl to a) be passionate about the hardware and b) be mature enough not to act on a figure of speech.

Well like it or not, its the reality and most of the pricing by them are a cost of kidney. You cant deny the facts. Am not offended. Its a fact !

Can you afford it ? Kidney does not grow on trees

there aren't actual reviews with benchmarks and other tests sooo you'll have to wait to know if it is worth it or if it is actually good, but based on reviews from the older blade it seems to be a good gaming laptop
Gotta get it!!!
Very satisfied with my purchase.
changed the ssd to 2to and the ram to 32 giga.
undervolt + some light overclock.

with the 2080 i have a score of 17670 at firstrike( 20548 graphic 16709 physic, 8998 combined).
Quite satisfied with those number as my gpu temps is at 73 degres and my cpu at 81.

Really happy with dbrand skin also. I would recommand it really protect and suit the blade.

In 1080p this laptop offer really good performance. The 240htz really help and is beautifull.

Really great laptop, now my couple of complain, you eed to work on the Shift plus Arrow key. it s not good.
Better webcam quality...

That all.
After you convinced yourself to pull the trigger and buy the Blade RTX, do you get the RTX2060, or RTX2070???.

This will be my work (running couple of VM for testing) and some gaming. I have GTX1080 SLI at home for heavy duty gaming.
If the new Stealth was anything to go by, one has to wonder what litany of defects this thing is gonna have when it launches.

Technically today is the release date of most of these "RTX laptops" but I haven't seen anything yet..

Thanks for the information 🙂 Maybe I will wait till the end of the day 😉

Although I would have preferred for the Razer Blade 15 to come out in Gunmetal Grey, time is running out and I need to get a new laptop soon to develop in Unity and Unreal Engine so I guess I'll settle with the Black color option. I would have definitely preferred a tone-on-tone logo with it though.

The question I have now is when would it be available in the Microsoft Store so I can take advantage of that student discount?

Ask Microsoft Store:smile_:
awesome gpu!
Oooh, fancy 😉
Why no news on blade pro. The new advanced 15 looks good but the cpu is lacking. Why not 8950hk???

I can.
So the 2080 is now available, and I decided to buy it.
It is not the perfect laptop but I need a new one and I can afford it.

could someone tell me if goiing from 16 to 32 Gg of ram will change anything ?

Also looking t buy a 970 evo plus 2 to ssd,

I should receive the laptop next week, I will then start to check about underclocking or go Metal liquid.
At 1080p the rtx 2080 should be plenty to play confrtably for the next 2 years.
Next upgrade for me will be at 4k or if good 1440 p oled screen apear. Not sure 4k is worth it on a 15 inch format.

Depends, if you’re gaming with tons Browser tabs opened yes it’ll help having 32gb, but if you mean by increasing FPS, maybe only 2 or 3 fps if there’s any. I remember 32gb Blade 15 user surprised with my Firestrike score (all default hardware) because he couldn’t even achieve 15K overall.
Yes 2080 Blade 15 would be a beast, only few days left until there’s Blade 15 that will beat my Blade. Hope all goes great and keep sharing to us your experiences with that.
