Hi, I'm trying to work out how to get these to work without the PC on. As far as I can see from the site the USB just provides power to the headset, which is all I need, as I'd like to use the headset to listen to films as it's plugged into AVR pre-outs, and I'm getting a sumptuous gaming performance from that. However, I can't seem to get sound (indeed the 7.1 light will not come on) unless the USB is plugged into a PC that's turned on. This is less than ideal, but am I just not using powerful enough USB slots? I've used the (powered) USB slot on the front of the AVR, and I hear the speakers "chck" so I know power is flowing into the unit. However I get nothing from the sound. I also tried a DC 5V 1000mA output socket on a plug, to no avail. Does anyone have solutions here? Raspberry Pi?

I had this issue with my mic cause my latop wouldn't pick up on it so i looked for forums to fix that and someone said that going to Device Manager->Sound, video... and uninstalling everything except for the drivers so i did it said it would reinstall everything after restarting my computer which i did more than once hoping it would and it didn't, some stuff is gone like Surround sound 7.1 so i tried installing it again then uninstalling it then installing it but among playback devices it's just gone, what can i do ? Using : Kraken x lite

I play a lot of COD and R6 Siege but can't seem to get my sound right. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks :)

When using the razer headset app, it says there is a firmware update but when you click update, it just opens a box telling you to download a .exe on PC? I only have access to a mac and Series X.

Just bought a new kaira pro yesterday and its putting out a hissing noise. When I am in a xbox party u can see my voice in the party overlay but I'm not talking. Has anyone experienced this and know how to fix it

Is this supposed to NOT show up synapses app? Also the background static is unbearable. Is there any fix to this since I can’t locate driver software to download for Razer?

I've been thinking of buying the standard Nari because it they seem like a good option to get but a question came to mind. My brother has a pair of Nari essential and I wondered if we both were in the same room gaming like at a LAN party, would the headsets/dongles of the pair interfere with eachother? I've also had the Blackshark V2 Pro in mind, would they also interfere if that was the case?

I just got the nari essential for Christmas, and I can’t hear my own voice playback in the headset. Dunno if this is just something that they left out or if somethings wrong with mine lol. I’m on ps4 and I’ve dug thru the settings to see if I could find something and can’t. Thanks in advance!

Just recently purchased the V2 and didn't realize it did not include the memory foam ear cushions. I feel like for $100 they should have included them. Is there a way to get them? They current ones hurt my ears. Had the same problem with steelseries and their airweave. They sent me leather ones to place those and those worked much better. Anyone know if they are available for the non V2 pros?

Hello, i have big problem with my old headset razor kraken. I moved somewhere else, so i lost original package i have only receipt, now i also change my computer from laptop to desktop computer. So i had to download program again And i can not log in And using 7.1 surrounding sound. I do not have activation code. Its very sad coz i play apex on competitive level. Now i am out of any competition. Can you send me my activation code if i Will send you my receipt please? Thank you for answer.

Sorry for the weird title, but what I mean is, I recently purchased the All Star Bundle from Costco (for $150! what a deal!), love everything it has. Im fairly new to the headset game, Im usually always a speaker person, sound has and will always be a key component for me. The Blackshark V2 X is awesome, very lightweight, and sounds great-when it worked. Heres where it gets tricky. I was hoping to use both my 5.1 speaker set up and use the Blackshark with the 7.1 software Razer provides. ****Obviously not at the same time**** I was trying to use my speakers while I game and listen to music and movies during the day, and in the late night hours, switch to the headphones. The set up was easy, and it seemed to work at first, but when I switched the default back and forth, to test if I can do what I was hoping to do, I lost all sound, and the mic didnt work. My soundbar has developed a buzz using an AUX cable from my Gigabyte z390 Aorus Pro's outputs (any of the back or front headphones). I've tried different power outlets to rule out grounding conflicts, different aux cables, ground loop isolator and nothing. Connecting via Bluetooth gets rid of the buzz but bluetooth is very touch and go on my PC. Any thoughts?

Bought the newer Kraken X headset. Installed the 7.1 surround sound programme. When using Discord, other users are telling me they can hear everything I am playing or any music I am listening to. I lowered the volume on the headset to minimum and played music and checked input sensitivity on Discord and it is jumping in time with whatever I am playing even when I can barely hear it. I tried a new splitter but same issue. I did fix it by uninstalling the 7.1 surround sound programme. However this means I cannot have 7.1 operating. Is there any fix for this?

I haven't been able to find any solid solution to this. Basically I noticed how spatial audio seemed off here and there. Went to play Skyrim and I couldn't hear sounds from behind, etc. That's when I noticed enabling and disabling 7.1 surround didn't make a difference at all. I'm using kraken x lite. I tried uninstalling the drivers, then uninstalling the 7.1 surround app, then installing it all again. However now I don't even get a audio device labeled as 7.1 Surround, like before, only a "High Definition One".

Hi all any advice would be appreciated. I bought the headphones and they arrived in the sealad case, followed all set up steps, but my right earbud has continually turn off/dissconect and i have to turn it back on. I have followed all the troubleshooting steps, contacted both razer support and the store that I bought them from but all I get told is to try trouble shooting again. This is only my second razer product but I was so happy with the headset I bought but these just upset me something fierce!. Thanks for reading, CJD

I accidentally messed with the control wheel for the Bass, and was wondering if there was a way to reset it back to how it was, or if not tips on how to get it close to the original again.

Hi, I just bought Kraken TE and went through the set up. The only way I get sound is if my default device is set to Speakers - Game as per the attached. After downloading 7.1 Software and changing the default playback device to 7.1 surround sound as recommended I lose sound. I can see the volume bar moving up and down if I play anything, however there is no sound. the volume is turned up and as soon as I switch back to Speakers - Game the sound is fine. Can anyone give me advise on what can be wrong please? Can I still get the full benefit from Speakers Game default device or is that not 7.1?

I would like to know users' opinions on their razer headsets. Why did you buy it? What drew you to it? Were there any features that affected your decision? How does it compare to other companies? How has it lasted over time?

Hello! is the power button loose on every headset or is this problem just for me? when i shake my head you can hear the button being loose and it sound like the speaker in the left ear is loose? anyone else have this problem?

Hello, I purchased a xbox series x and wanted to get a good headset. I picked up the black shark v2 pro but can't figure out how to make the Spatial audio work with my system...will it even work? I keep reading that it will but no explanation on how
