I currently use the Audio-Technica ATH-ADG1, now all of my other gear is razer. I want to complete my setup and have a razer headset, What headset would you guys recommend that has great sound that is from the razer line up.
  2. Hey Megaman2468,

Congratulations on making a Razer setup :)

Seeing the headset you currently use, I'd definitely go toward the Razer Kraken 7.1 V2 to complete your Razer setup. It's comfortable, it has 50mm drivers and 7.1 Surround sound to help you locate the enemies. Plus, it's powered by Razer Chroma - it will look awesome with the rest of your gear!

If you'd prefer to go wireless, I'd recommend the Razer ManO'War. It rocks awesome specs and offer you a complete freedom of movement.

The choice is yours ;) Share a pic of your setup when it's complete!

Personally I've only owned and used the Man o'War wireless. So I can't say anything on any of the others, however, the Man o'War has great sound quality and feels really nice to wear.

Is there any sound lag while playing games like CS:GO? I would love that on the Zvault to save for! That is the last item I need as I am using beats or my Audioengine 2+ speakers

I am leaning towards the Kraken 7.2 v2 headset. I wonder if razer are going to release a ManOwar version that supports razer chroma. i am liking the chroma stuff, I have the mouse, keyboard and mousemat which are all chroma enabled

It is Chroma if you get the Wireless one!

From what I can tell there is little to no lag.

PS the virtual 7.1 surround is amazing

It's also a good idea to grab a pair of Razer oval ear cups if you have larger ears. I mean, I'd try the headphones on before deciding on banking on the oval ear cups, but I have to say, they do make a difference in comfort. Also make sure that when you get em, you choose the right ones. There's a Kraken Pro V2 and a ManO'War version.

What no Chroma Mug first? If I can't get the Mug I will get the Kraken 7.1V2 as well though!

If you haven't already bought the Krakens 7.1 V2, here is another vote for it.

I've owned the V1s for a long time and very much enjoyed using them. I mainly play FPS (CSGO) games and it performs great. Mic is great too. I've only heard good things from friends that use it. Overall, I really like it for music too.

A down side was that you could hear the wire rubbing on your shirt in the left ear cup, but I'm unsure if they have fixed this on the V2s. However...I could hardly notice it when gaming/listening to music.

I currently use the Man-O-War wireless and love it as well, especially having no wires :).

Good choices. Also if he doesn't like lighting on headsets he could go with the man o war wired version. I have the limited edition green ones and I love the headsets. Very comfortable and could care less about the lighting. I thought these were more comfortable than the Krakens personally.
