Use stealth + O-Rings and you will have membrane-esque silence. Without O-Rings, stealth is not much louder than membrane keyboard unless if you are constantly bottoming out your keys while you type.
They do use Cherry MX Blues in the Razer Blackwidow Ultimate - I just pulled a keycap off right now to check.

  4. I've had my Blackwidow Ultimate for almost a year now, and it's delicious in terms of feel and speed. Man, it's amazing.

I like how they keep making improvements and listening to customers. Please keep us in mind when designing!

  6. I think that's what makes Razer so good. Lots of the customers' opinions are taken into consideration.

I really enjoy my Razer BlackWidow Chroma Keyboard. This is my first time typing on a mechanical keyboard. So far, I enjoy it quite a lot. Thank you Razer.

I hope Razer would introduce a KB with on-board memory on their Blackwidows. That would be useful.

I might be the only one here who misses the cherry mx switches. I love your keyboards, but I'm not too keen on your switches.

  12. I have a BlackWidow TE Chroma and I think its the best investment I ever made.

I want to try BlackWidow TE Chroma after my CMstorm rapid-i. I love clicky sound on keys :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Just got to try the new green switches, like them a lot compared to cherry mx; now to try the oranges, see if those are equally awesome.

How similar are the silent switches to Cherry Blues?

@hjilp The silent switches are silent, and cherry blues are really loud. Your comparing apples to oranges xD

I got my BlackWidow in 2011 and own a Blackwidow TE with razer green switches. I honestly can tell which is Blue and which is green. Idk, maybe Razer can make backwidows with blue switches and like let us choose what switches we would like :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I actually would also like to see Cherry vs Razer switch options available for selection, even if it is with a price difference.
