[Stealth V1] What's Gonna Actually Happen When I RMA?

    I've owned my Stealth since July. It's been constantly buggy, random freezing and/or blue screens, charger infrequently not working, ect. I've talked with a few Razer reps and it has been concluded that I need to RMA my laptop. I have been unable to because I use this computer for work. I made an opening to RMA it in 2 weeks, but, as the title suggests I'm super curious on what they do to actually fix the laptop? What can I expect? Do I need to back up the ssd or does it not really matter?

    They say that they replace the motherboard.
    You should have received instructions with that regard if you already have a RMA number. You should backup everything that matters for you.

    @EliteEFive - I would definitely back up everything that matters to you, because there's no guarantee that you won't just receive a brand new laptop with an all new SSD and you could potentially lose everything you have. It's also possible that they may be able to completely fix the unit you already own and it will be a non-issue, but don't risk it, save everything at home before you mail in the RMA.

    Just to be sassy, I had to comment on this because I did edit something - I merged your two posts together because technically one right after the other is against the forum rules, you should've just edited the first one. lol :big_grin_: :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye_:
