Razer this is what people want in the next RAZER BLADE:
    1. Smaller bezels (go for something like apple have done i the new macbook)
    2. Much more silent fans like 100% silent fans, if you are using it in high school or at work it is very annoying (thats one of the reasons i havent bought the new one yet)
    3. Possibly even cooler at your lap.
    4. SD card reader & magnetic charger (just as Linus said)
    5. More that 60HZ screen
    6. Smaller input lag RAZER BLADE LATE 2016 40 MS Alienware 25 MS
    7. possibly even a GTX 1070 if it will become possible in the next model. NOT SOMETHING WE REALLY NEED

Lol and there it is folks!

The Law of Razer Blade Refreshes: With each annual refresh of the Blade, a wishlist thread will be posted on Razer Insider for next year's iteration.

This law has never failed to hold true in these forums.

I agree with a lot of your points, but there are also some I disagree with. No thx on the SD card reader. And asking for 100% silent fans + GTX 1070 in one of the slimmest gaming laptops on the market is kind of silly.

    Welcome to Insider killer_9779 :)

I agree with @Raijin on his points. 100% silent fans are pretty much impossible. Yeah you can make them a ton quieter probably, but not 100% quiet. And no way they are fitting a 1070 into this form factor, it would just run too hot.

    Smaller bezels would be nice.

SD card reader isnt really needed, you can just get an adaptor for that for cheap. SD cards arent needed for gaming, and this is a gaming laptop.

A 120hz screen would be nice.

And for the problems, most peoples blades work fine. you just only hear about everyones broken blades because the people whose blades work well are enjoying their blades and not complaining on the forums. so you only hear about the people complaining. every company has faulty products.

SD Card Read / G-Sync / Replace that TrackPad with the one on the Stealth.

yes i know you cant get 100% silent fans but something like the macbooks have so about 28-25 DB so it would not be annoying to hear the fans but still smaller bezels and 120 hz screen. And not as much input lag

why do so many people want fan controls? the computer is going to be able to control temps and fans better then a human manually setting them

I can deal with the fan(it's a gaming laptop) but the bezels need to be reduced.

Well the major difference is that MacBooks don't have gaming CPUs & GPUs inside. But if you mean at rest, then yes I agree. If you aren't gaming, if you're doing something like office work or web broswing, then the Blade should be near silent for the best user experience. Or else everyone will stare at you in the office/library/classroom :D

yes that is what i meant i want the fans as close to silent as possible in a office or at school. Because its annoying in school, but when you game i dont mind the fans that much. Maybe just a bit more silent than my razer blade pro 2014 i have right now an get really loud. ofc i havent tried the new blades from 2015, 2016 and 2017 yet

but i think razer will be one of the first to build something that got all of the needed for inside watercooling in the same form as the blades are now. nothing like the asus watercooled laptop but something that dosent need that big fat thing in the back

that would be sick they could build somehting that would work to get blades cooler and more silent

  13. all i ask for is
    sd card reader
maybe even a magnetic charger if possible. if( not that's fine too)
    thats it!!!
    and i will buy it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    1. Kinda yes but... I'd be fine with those it has now
    2. Well of course I would like it but I don't think load noise can still improve much and they have made giant leaps in idle noise. The 2017 Blade is almost silent at idle!
    3. Meh. i don't know.
    4. Yes. SD card reader wouldn't be necessary BUT I'd love to see a magnetic charger! DAMN that would be so cool!
    5. I'm ok with the 60Hz panel because the 1060 can't generate much more at 1080p. But a G-Sync-Panel would be a nice touch.
    6. I don't care much about 0.00-ish seconds
    7. No. Just no. Do you even thermodynamics?
    8. Yep. The quality check at Razer factories seems to suck very hard.

Volta GPU and Canonlake CPU are the most wanted upgrade on any laptops in 2018, and worth upgrade from current Blade version, the rest (SD card, smaller Bezel, magnetic plug etc) they will fitting it on Blade 14 form. THX certified like Blade Pro will come also in all Razer audio devices including Blade 14 because Razer just bought it, but maybe it could be in small hardware update if they really update it this year.

    1) bigger trackpad
    2) smaller bezels
    3) THX certified audio
    4) quieter fans
    5) those slim af mechanical switches like on the blade pro

    1) Yeah
    2) Yes we all want that IF it's possible
3)That's a little bit hard but sure, it would be nice
    4) same as 2
    5) HELL NO! The Blade Keyboard has always been one of the best rated laptop keyboard and since this mechanical laptop keyboard isn't, I would keep this

    Nothing but these few wishes
    1. Smaller bezels
    2. Make the trackpad like blade stealth
    3. Make the razer logo more scratch-proof
    4. Better design of the heatsink and the heatpipe
    5. Annnd the keyboard is hard to clean with this texture ;_;

I think the 1060 do the job, no need to be a 1070 or else because there's blade pro.

With new max q GPU don't loose GPU race with another thin laptops competitors, Asus, gigabyte, and Acer stand right behind you to take portable gaming laptops market. Reengineering the Blade stealth with iris pro, 14 with gtx 1070 max q, and pro with 1080 max q/ or maybe try to fitting 1080ti on it with lowering its capabilities like you do in pro's gtx1080 2017, will keep Razer in front of them. It's easy to say...I know;)

any idea when will Razer release newer version for the Blader series? ( Later 2017? or Early 2018?)
Looking forward with THX audio, Slimmer bezel/bezeless, smarter trackpad and maybe little better cooling :D
    That would be epic!!!
