Hey everyone, this is a weird issue that I'm having. I'll say upfront I could just be missing something really obvious, but I figured I'd post the question in case it's something that's just different with Windows 10. I was running Win7 until a few months ago, and finally got around to upgrading to Win10. Since upgrading, I've noticed one big change with my Chroma keyboard. With Win7, if I came into the room without lights on, I could tap the keyboard a few times and the keyboard would light up, which allowed me to login without having to turn on the overhead lights. In Windows 10, the tap to wake option with the keyboard no longer works. I've checked the USB power settings, Synapse is up to date, and there have been no other system changes besides upgrading Windows. It's not a huge problem, just a nice feature I'm wondering if I can get back. Any suggestions are appreciated!

does anyone happen to know if the keyboard can be be disassembled in a way that the keyboard pcb with the switches are separated from the housing? Or is there some kind of mechanism that prevents this? For example that the switches are directly tied to the housing in a way that it cannot be separated without breaking the whole thing etc. I’m asking this question because id like to give this product / the housing a custom paintjob. and obviously this can not be done or is at least super difficult to do if the housing cannot be separated from the pcb with the switches etc. Teardowns of the product are not available anywhere as of yet. at least i couldnt find one. It’s also not available in Germany as of yet so I can’t just go into a store and check it out lol Hope some one can answer my question. So i just bought a razer blackwidow chroma v2 and i'm having problems becouse i'd like that when i press the macro key, the keys that the macro is pressing uses the reactive effect to so I can see how it's the combo going.

Synapse 3 is fairly consistently crashing or being extremely sluggish with updating. Usually a reboot will fix it hanging. The Huntsman Elite isn't switching local profiles. I've updated the local profiles when I change them, but they don't switch when using the hot keys. Anyone else having issues with Synapse 3 and/or Huntsman Elite?

So I've had my keyboard exactly 1 month now and it was fine for about 2 weeks, then I started noticing keys had a springy noise coming from them when I pressed them and thought that it would go away, now when I'm just typing I'm able to notice a lot of the keys have the springy noise. I've been able to notice even more keys with the springy noise and I wanted to know if there is a way to fix it or do I need to get a replacement?

I can't figure out how to get the !@#%% and so forth special characters to backlight. Maybe it cannot light those shift characters but it seems like a design flaw if they cannot be. Can anyone shed some light, pun intended, on this issue lol.

Hello all; I've figured out how to do the original reason for this post but now I have another question. After creating a macro and putting it on a certain amount of activations. How do you stop the macro if you need to during the count. Say I set the macro to push 40 times. And at like 26 I need to stop it and change things. How do i stop it from trying to continue activating?

Hi ! I play keyboard and mouse on ps4 with my keyboard ornata chroma and my mouse razer mamba and when I put a new light on my mouse everything works perfectly but when I put a new light on my keyboard and I put it on my ps4 his puts basic lighting. Thank you in advance !!

The Razer Blackwidow elite switches are very nice and I was wondering what thoughts are on about those switches coming to tkl layout?

Hey, New to Razer products. I hooked up a new Razer BlackWidow to the Xbox One to play Fortnite. The default has the character jogging and there doesn't seem to be a way to stop it. Is this a known bug or I'm missing something in the set ups? Thanks, JM

I've been really loving how the Razer Turret works together with the NVidia Shield. I've only hit a small snag, it seems like the keyboard doesn't have any internal memory (or at least I can't find a way to save to it from the Synapse3 application. The mouse shows a memory slot, and allows you to push lighting and other configs to it. Does anyone know how to push keyboard and lighting info to the keyboard ? Or if there are any default keyboard shortcuts to disable or cycle through light effects ? As there is no way to control it from the Shield, as it is I'm stuck with the default config.

Hey guys, i really love Razers Hardware but at the moment i'm stuck with my macbook. I'm thinking of buying a Huntsman Elite whcih is not supported by synapse 2. So there is no way of my macbook supporting chroma and stuff like that. But i have a windows Partition on my Mac, is it possible to create a profile there and save it on the huntsman so when boot mac os the profile is still active? If so, it would be no problem for me to use a PC-Keyboard on my Macbook. Greets,

finally got myself a razor keyboard dammm its good got the good old razor cynosa chroma makes a world of difference from a cheap amazon keyboard

Mine is the Razer blackwidow chroma Elite. Beacause i got it for christmas and think its awseome.

So for some reason my keyboard mousepad and mouse all turn white and stay white without me even having to do anything, so i was wondering if anyone could help me maybe find the reset to default button or something like that nevermind it was just fortnite making it white whenever i launch it but i still need help turnng this off

Hello guys i have a problem with the installantion of new profile for mine Blackwidow Crhoma V2. i'm downloading the profile named PUBG from https://www2.razer.com/chroma-workshop/profiles but i can't open the file with synapse.. not in the lighting tab neither in the Crhoma Configurator.. Anyone knows where am i doing wrong? the type of the file that i received from download is (.ChromaEffects)

got a new Razer blackwidow chorma v2 last week. I have a fairly new I Mac, ( bought earlier this fall and have OS 10.13.6) and wanted something I could use to play some blizzard games on, and just an over all decent keyboard. I had a Razer a few years ago and liked it so I thought I would get another one. It s a nice keyboard, but I am having problems with some of the function, in particular one i would use in playing games. Trying to escape out of the programs is difficult and most of the time I have to reset the computer. Also the screensaver stopped working when installed Synapse. I can't see to find any good source of information for using these keyboards with a mac and would be willing to spend some time to customize the settings and was hoping there was someone out there that had already done some of this work. I get the sense that there isn't really a lot of support for Mac users, not that we represent a big portion of the business, however, i would suggest there are probably

I was wondering if I am able to use the demo key that comes with the Razer Black Widow Chroma V2. I was thinking that I could replace the windows key with the razer logo demo key but I was wondering if that's even possible. (this is the key im talking about)

are all keys programable ? on my old blackwidow i could reprogram any key with its own macro for gaming. ,so can i do this with the RAZER Cynosa Chroma to ?

Hello, I am needing a new keyboard. Right now I have the Razer Blackwidow 2016 ultimate and yesterday it had a problem. It started with my A key being pressed constantly. Then my keyboard just shut down. I had to take the whole thing apart and for some reason. It ended up fixing its self I don't know if I should get another one of the keyboard I have or go for a V2 or something.

Does anyone else want Razer to make a 60% keyboard? 60% keyboards are perfect for gaming since the majority of the time you dont need the rest of the keys anyway. I think if Razer made a 60% keyboard it would fit perfectly into their lineup. What are your thoughts on 60% keyboards? Do you like them? What size keyboards do you currently use?
