Mice and Surfaces

Ever since I had my Logitech G7 10+ years ago I never met a wireless mouse with good ergonomy. Currently I have a G603 and I was thinking on buying a Razer mamba instead, but they have the same issue. What I need is this: I fail to see why it is so hard to add a groove for the thumb. Without it the grip is completely unstable and lifting the mouse is problematic too. For first person shooters with palm grip this is a deal breaker for me. Just to mention buttons for the thumb are completely useless too. They are the first thing I unbind, otherwise I always click on them accidentally. Not sure about other people, but all I need is something simple with 2 buttons relative soft clicks, a proper clickable wheel, multiple days without charging, 1000Hz, no mouse accel, a lot of teflon at the bottom and proper ergonomy for palm grip. Nothing fancy really, still I haven't seen anything like it in the past 20 years, since I play multi FPS...

Hi everyone, I have been having an issue with the Razer Deathadder V2. Since I've been using this mouse, whenever I start my pc for the first time. It's really slow at starting up + the windows taskbar is empty and freezes for around 15 minutes. If I then restart my pc, it works perfectly, until I need to switch users, then it freezes again. I have searched around and found that the issue is my Razer mouse. I have unplugged it and restarted the pc a couple of times/switched users without any issues. I have already installed the latest firmware and driver updates. Could anyone please help me resolve this issue? Thanks.

So I finally put hands on my old v1 Razer Lachesis which sat in his box and his surface is pretty sticky. I know that's a common razer mice problem but I don't want to ruin it since it's my favourite mice and they don't make any of them anymore. What's the best way to clean the surface and remove the stickiness? I heard that alcohol and acetone can damage the surface. Waiting for any help please.

Just got my Razer Naga Trinity that I saved my Razer Silver for! So far: it works great! the panels pop off easily and I even used it playing League of Legends. So nice to have the buttons macroed to my mouse instead of all over my keyboard (I have to make the mouse use keyboard keys, but it works). I mean, there are slight design issues (for me at least), like the 2-button panel being a little high for me and the 7-button one is counted in an odd way, but that's a pretty minor complaint for such a versatile mouse. I do have one question for the general public though: Aside from an MMO like WOW, where would you use the 12-button panel?

Hi those that has gotten the razer orochi v2. Want to know before i purchase it is whether if the mouse is able to connect to both bluetooth and dongle at the same time (laptop and desktop) and any setting to swap between them as and when or is there a priority connection being allocate to it? Thank in advance!

i just bought it yesterday exciting to try it and when i tried it, it felt weird one switch was more stiff than the other, anybody has this problem?

Hey Gang, yes, you see that correctly. I'm looking for a fix or somewhere to send my 2012 Razer Naga. The left click button is no longer working properly after using the mouse for 9 years. The left click still works, but if I push too hard then it no longer recognizes the click like if I let go of the button. I've tried using the Naga Trinity and didn't like it. I'm not really a fan of the new button layouts on the razer products either. It sounds silly, but I'd pay the same price as a new mouse just to fix my old one. Hey guys, Just got my old destructor from the garage after many years it was sitting there. I wonder how to clean it up since it has stains and I don't want it to scratch my Razer Lachesis. I'm talking about the 1st generation Destructor pad and not the second version. Thanks for helping!

Hi there, I have had the Razer Naga Epic Chroma for a few years and I've just bought the Firefly v2 mat to pair with it going from the soft mat surface to the hard mat surface. Unfortunately there seems to be tracking issues and the movement isn't smooth and actually works far better just on my desk surface. The synapse 2.0 software does not have the calibration tab for the mouse and I have tried holding the left, right and wheel buttons together for 7 seconds in an attempt to recalibrate it but this has been unsuccessful. Does anyone know if there is there anything else I can do here to sort out the tracking issue? Or if the devices are not compatible the only other scenario is to return the mat in exchange for another soft one again. Thanks in advance for any help answering this issue.

I was fooled in buying a basilisk with dock. 1) There is no battery indicator. WTF you create a wireless product and omit the most important information (notice: not everybody have Windows machines nor want to show the battery level on the dock) 2) Synapse software is heavy AF and useless. It won't even show the battery level on tray (I had to write my own driver to do so in MacOS, and I was able only because other people did the heavy work before me). 3) The battery is ridiculous. With white led on maximum, it won't last even half a day! 4) The dock is totally useless. You need to put the mouse to charge, it won't recognize, then you pull off, then you try again, they you get angry and plug an USB cable because the dock is f*** useless. Razer mouses are worst than US$ 1,50 chinese mouses (oh, wait, my basilisk was made in china... but you got the point). You guys suck. A LOT!

Who else has issues of their Basilisk Ultimate brightness in Razer Synapse having issues? I always turn to 5% brightness but somehow Synapse always change it to 33% without my knowledge. I will only realize something is wrong when the battery strength gets low too fast. I can never replicated this issue. I did send a diagnostic file to support but GG with them, no replies after that.

So I recent was experiencing an issue with my grip slipping on my mouse after a little bit of play time. I found some grip tape that is used for pistol grips and what not and cut out some pieces to fit in the small areas where I grip my mouse. Let me tell you, this changed the game for me. I don't know why I did not do this sooner.

My (fall 2018) Basilisk has developed an occasional problem where it sometimes double-clicks the left mouse button when I hold it down to drag. It happens several times a day, and it seems to be more frequent as time passes. A little casual searching suggests that this is a problem with the switch on that button. If so, is this something I could fix myself? Thanks!

Hello, for some time my razer Mamba tournament edition has stopped working :( Everything was fine and one day it stopped working. When I plug it into my pc it is not detected and I cannot move the cursor but on the other hand the lighting on the mouse works I can't figure out the dcp problem at all if anyone has a solution I'm up for it :) Thank you in advance.

So 2 days ago I received a Razer Basilisk V2 as a gift. When I was using it today I noticed a scratch on the shiny part in the middle. I didn't think it was my fault because usually I'm extraordinary careful with expensive tech, but I decided to double check. On the day I got the mouse I took a picture immediately after carefully unpackaging it and connecting it to my pc, and guess what. Even in the picture it already has that scratch. So now I'm wondering if the warranty covers this or not. Also: the image with the full mouse was taken immediately after unpackaging.

My mouse hasn't changed the dpi setting for two or three days. I tried to reinstall synapse 2.0 and tried to uninstall my mouse in device management. And i tried to do firmware update but it did not update at all. When i click to update the bar gets full 100% and says "update required." I really want to change my DPI as old times. Anyone can help?

Hi everyone ! I bought a Razr Naga trinity to use it with a ps5 but the game don't recognize the side buttons unfortunately ... I searched a lot and i see some people sayin to connect the mouse to Synapse and assing them to KB actions. I did that, and still nothing... I don't know what else to do... Thanks in advance and have a great day :) P.S.: I'm on mac and i don't have acces to a PC so, i'm sticked to Synapse 2

I setup a new Naga pro and everything seems to be working fine but in device manager there's an exclamation point that says HID-compliant mouse under MIce and other pointing devices. How do I get rid of this?

Hello, totally new to the Razer product lines. This mouse has the 3rd button on the thumb, that's why I bought it, but it does not look like I can program it. On the mapping where the 3rd button location is, the map say "scroll wheel adjustment." What am I missing here to get this extra button to work. I want to program it to work with COD as my mount weapon button or Z on my keyboard. I'm totally new to this line but I went all in with the Black widow keyboard, Basilisk mouse, monster mouse pad, i think its call goliath and headphones. Finding the software not the most intuitive but it looks awesome.
