Mice and Surfaces

I want to rebind the two mouse buttons on the side of my mouse to increase and decrease volume, but I'm not sure how to do so. I've tried rebinding them to the f4 and f5 keys, then pressing them while holding down the fn button, but it doesn't work. I've also tried to add the fn key as a macro, but for some reason it won't record me pressing that key. The mouse buttons in question do work, as the respond to other keys being rebinded to them, I just can't make them change the volume. Any ideas on what I should do? My computer is a windows 10 model, if that helps.

Hello there, I have my trinity since summer 2019 and have issues with holding both main clicks. By the past it was more on the left button, now it's more on the right and it's very difficult to play MMO. My Naga's S/N is : PM1905H07705141 I also play with an Orbweaver, this one doesn't have issues. Thanks for support

Hi, My Razer Mouse Dock Chroma doesn't work if it's plugged into the mains. It does work when plugged into a PC. Is it possible to have some sort of converter for it to work from the mains? Thank you.

When I put my Razer Viper Wireless mouse on the charging dock, it doesn't work. If I disconnect the cable from the dock and insert it into the mouse, the mouse charges. If I connect the dock, and insert a usb cable into the dock, the device on the other end of the usb cable does not charge. This means the usb cable that came with the dock works, but the dock does not. How do I fix this? I did not buy a wireless mouse to connect it to a cable.

Hello you. I just comein gaming device, (to work in the office task). I used DeathAdder Essential for a while, Then i have Viper. The viper's scroll wheel is more strong/friction (which i like). Question. - The scroll wheel's mechanic is contact switch , or optical mechanic like left/right click button ? - Will the friction of scroll wheel wear ?, can i re adjust it? Thank you t.

The good stuff: -No creaking (mouse casing is sturdy) -Side clicks -Side Grips -Response time The Issues: -Razer mice not charging on dock -Quality control on mouse clicks The dock charging issue is something that happens over time, the mouse builds up gunk on the bottom which prevents contact on the pads on the bottom with the dock. The mouse clicks on nearly all mice come with some pretravel usually on the right mouse button (worst case some with it on the left click) The clicks are one of the most important part on a mouse, the new switch was supposed to be an improvement but due to bad quality control, mice that have this issue are quite common. It's the reason why people complain about them feeling "Mushy" because of this pre travel. Hoping this feedback is useful for the next iteration of razer mice (especially the DA V3 pro wireless)

I've been having issues while trying to update the firmware on both my dongle and viper ultimate, I attempted to install firmware version 1.03.02_r1 and followed the steps listed on the support article and while updating the dongle that was connected to the dock chroma once it reached 100% i heard the sound of a usb device being disconnected and the firmware update got stuck. I went to device manager and check under usb devices and I saw there were too usb devices unrecognized which after reviewing I could confirm it was the dongle and the viper ultimate. I've already tried the recommendation from Razer's support which was completely remove synapse and any other razer software and reinstalled everything and tried the firmware update again to no avail it got stuck again.

Just got the Razer Pro Click today from BestBuy and its not fully charging after 7 hours it just keeps blinking Green. When I plug it into the Computer with the USB it shows the device is still charging. This is a brand new mouse just got it out the box earlier this afternoon. Should I request an exchange from BestBuy or is there something I am doing wrong? really like the mouse a lot but it should charge to 100% after 7 hours of continual charging.

I have a problem with this Razer Abyssus v2 mouse, the scroll click does not work, only if I force it. What should I do?

For xmas i got a brand new Firefly Hard Surface mouse mat, as you do i plugged it in and set it up with my Naga Chroma (witch ive had for 2 years) and instantly noticed i tracking issuses (slowing down, stopping). but when i move on to just my desk witch is also a hard surface it works normal. i've tried recalibrating among other things and i cant find a video or forum online. as i said its a brand new mouse mat and the mouse worked

I have a naga epic and its GREAT wireless. WIRED however... It.. does... NOT... work. No matter what I do, wired mode constantly connects/reconnets or simple doesnt detect.... Until i plug it into a mac, then it works perfectly. However on any windows machine I try, it ALWAYS fails in wired mode.... anyone else having issues, or if your running it successfully, what windows version/synapse version?

Hello, I know it's not the real deal, but at least for some releave to the macOS drop by RAZER, one can get some functionality back on Big Sur with other third party software. So, for the buttons you can use SteerMouse: http://plentycom.jp/en/steermouse/ For acceleration and smooth scrolling I use Smooze. Both have trial versions and do not cost a fortune. Smooze can also set buttons to system actions, but it didn't detect the ones by the Naga. I wrote to the developer, and wait for an answer. Will keep you posted in case there is interest. However, to give you a quick impression how it looks like. Here you can anaylze and detect everything you need. Here you can edit the buttons: Maybe it can lower some frustration about the canceled macOS support. If it even works for my old 2011 Naga, it should also work for newer ones I think. Hello everyone, I am looking for some assistance. I have a Razer Blade 14 v4 (2016) with the new Razer Core X Chroma. Everything works great but when I shutdown my PC while the core is connect it will auto restart within 5 seconds. Is there a feature either in the BIOS or Windows I can disable? Thank-you, Tony

Hi I just got the Razer Viper Ultimate and have been using it for about a day and already noticed that the middle mouse button wont stay clicked if you try to click it and move the mouse down fast. (seems like a wireless connectivity issue). For the games i play and the keybind i use (MMB) it's frustrating. It also feels as though there's only one button on the right side of the mouse wheel? So when someone presses the MMB with there pointer the apex of it is one the left so your finger naturally forces it to stay down even when you let off the same amount of pressure that you put on.. Anyone else having these issues or maybe my MMB is busted?

I bought the razor mini and on my razor ultimate I am able to adjust the X,Y values separately. The razor mini I cannot do that is that a software thing or can you not control those values on the mini?

This is the second time I get this mouse and it is double clicking again, sadly my warranty wore off few months before and it sucks to have to change mice every year.. I've seen that this has been an issue for years, some people have the issue a couple months into use too. Is there something anyone knows how to fix it? Because I can't find a fix at all.. Razer, why do you keep selling this mouse if it keeps having this issue? I can't find a mouse with a rest for my right ring finger that I'm comfortable with. I don't really want to switch to another gaming mice company but if nothing gets fixed I might have to sadly..

When my controller was connected, and I was playing divinity 2, it started blinking red in a pretty concerning way. Never happened before, wondering if that's an error warning. Also, recently been having bad double-clicking issues. The mouse's click registration is not linked to the physical click anymore. Mouse is dying?
