Razer Cortex

I'm not that simple minded of a person, but when I open the window to paste or type in my steam community user ID, there is a spinning wheel next to steam, and in the window the "Load Wishlist" stays grayed out as though I haven't typed anything. I click it repeatedly and nothing happens. What am I missing?

Does anyone else also have problems with the latest update of Cortex on Android? For me on Razer Phone 2 it is in a constant state of lockup, and even the silver sessions take longer since it counts the seconds slower than they should be. I cleared cache and storage but it didn't solve the problem.

Hello, First of all sorry if im breaking some rules maybe this is solved somewhere already but im in a hurry. So I have Counter Strike 1.6 on Steam and i wanna know how to disable booster for this game. I also play CS:GO and from time to time some other games but mainly this 2. Booster works great for CSGO but i want it disabled for 1.6. How can i do this? Thanks

So I just updated Forza today, and tried to launch it from Razer and nothing happened. I removed the game and refreshed to see if it would show up, and it didn't. I made a desktop shortcut for the game and pressed the "+" icon in Cortex and it still didn't show up. I can't find anything in the "Browse" option either. As seen here Forza Horizon 4 doesn't show up in the application list (There isn't even any "F" apps)

ok so i used to be able to hit the plus sign and look for and exe but now it pops up with a list of exes and sometimes my game isnt included and literally nothing shows up in "browse"

Anyone else having Cortex boosting games that are being updated by Origin?

I wanted to know if they would be compatible with ps5, I don't want to spend so much money to later not be able to occupy them in ps5. It may be a silly question but nothing I lose with asking. Thank you very much

Every time I try to start cortex I get this error msg. I have uninstalled, restarted my computer, reinstalled and still have the same issue. Someone please help!

Hey guys, I use my Razer laptop for both gaming and software development. CTRL+SHIFT+F is a very common hotkey used in developer IDEs, and it recently stopped working. I discovered that the culprit was Razer Cortex, which by default, is silently swallowing this key combination while running in the background with no games running. This is pretty terrible and should be fixed to either a) not hook into key combinations while no game is running or b) be an opt-in hotkey (instead of running by default). There might be other key combinations Cortex is swallowing but I didn't bother to check, rather I have uninstalled it for now. I think Cortex is a nice piece of software so I hope this gets fixed soon, but for now I cannot risk running it while it is so opinionated in hooking things I didn't ask it to. Gotta code, gotta pay the bills.

I've tried everything to fix the issue. After launching Planetside 2 Cortex will boost, but when the game is closed it doesn't restore the system. It was working for a long time. I went afk and the game booted me. That's when the issue started. I tried to reinstall. I tried deleting everything I could find in the registry along with registry cleaners. I tried to delete the game install folder. I even downloaded and installed the beta. The only way I have been able to fix it is a fresh install of windows. But today it has happened again and I don't really want to reinstall windows. This is a critical feature to me and I will stop using/ trusting Razor software if this does not have a solution. After many web searches I have not found the answer. What could have changed that would bypass a fresh install. If its not in the registry or the install folder, what did it change? Did it change a system file or process? Any help would be appreciated. Also worth mentioning. The bug doesn't stop w

I recently stumbled across a program called process lasso. You can look up what it's supposed to be good at, but in summary, it can set the CPU affinity of all the system processes to some of the available cores, and the game you are playing to others. With the CPU affinities set like this, games can rely more on the CPU cache, and get better FPS because nothing else will be running on the same cores and dirty the cache making the CPU pull the data from somewhere else slower like the RAM or hard drive. I tried Process Lasso for a bit but it made my computer restart randomly the next day I turned my computer on. Once I uninstalled it, the restarts stopped. I'm not sure, but I think the restarts were from some of the windows processes trying to restore default CPU affinity. Instead of being set to something like 0-3 they were showing as set to X0-3. So if Cortex does not already do this, can it be made to optimize the CPU affinities while boosting, then restore them when done?

After installing Cortex, going through it & closing the initial window, I get the notification that it's been minimized to taskbar. Cortex works but it can't open in the window anymore. I've tried all the basic solutions (such uninstalling, removing folders & rebooting), with no success. I have the latest version of .NET Framework installed; 4.8.03761. Update: It will work fine if I never close the window manually. Update 2: It now opens after closing & restarting.

Hi I'm a lol player and last time I saw the League of Legends and its a hard time earning from razer cortex thru league of legends. Other games works really fine but in league of legends never works haha I don't know if my region is the problem. Im in PH region and using Garena Philippines to run League of Legends. If this is the cause maybe try to adjust some features for us in PH region when LoL is selected again in the future. Other games like Dota Underlords, Fortnite, etc., they works automatically and gaining silver is automatic depending on the hours I've played. Luckily the other game featured together with LoL in the cortex works and I also play that so I really cant earn with LoL. I hope someone here how to manage this?

Hello, anyone else having issue with cortex mobile connection error last two days? When I launch an app after couple of seconds it says "Oops. We had trouble connecting to cortex servers. Wait a few moments and try again". Tried to reinstall, tried different phone, tried Wi-Fi/LTE it just doesnt want to connect. So anyone with the same problem or solution?
