Despite having game Desktop ticked it never comes up after launching a game. After launching game Game Desktop becomes unticked for some reason

What is this app?

I play Squad and Insurgency but razer cortex doesn´t optimize them even though the "items optimized" at right corner of my screen appears. It´s weird because right after I updated Squad to v13 it stopped optimizing it and I need those extra frames. I´ve tried to reinstall cortex and nothing. The thing is that Cortex works these 2 other games: CSGO and Apex legends but it´s not working with Squad or Insurgency. Help pls

I read master guide, but there is no explanation of tweaks. There are many tweaks with little description and sometimes it is not enough or to generic. I need to know what i am changing before i change anything. Btw do tweaks still work after uninstallation, even i exit program there are running 4 processes and consuming cpu, terrible for performance optimization program.

I downloaded Cortex last night so I could earn silver playing Neverwinter for the rest of the month. However, Cortex doesn't recognize it even though its in my Steam library. I originally downloaded NW through Steam. I got a new rig a week ago so I had to download my games again and for whatever reason it didn't show up in my library so I started playing it though the Arc client. Cortex recognized it through Arc (along with all of my other Steam games and non-Steam games), but that does no good since to earn silver it has to be through Steam. I uninstalled Arc and NW, then figured out how to re-download NW (I was just being dumb apparently) from Steam again. I even reinstalled Cortex and re-booted, but it still doesn't recognize NW. Am I missing something?

I understand that the game boost and Pc cleaning functions could improve performance on older systems or systems without alot of RAM or a HDD. Besides the playing games for Razer silver (love it btw) how could Cortex improve my high end systems gaming performance? hi i play Rainbow 6 Siege whit cortex and after update cortex game doesn't lunch whit cortex but when i turn off (remove tick) explorer.exe game run without any problem but i need this item to give more fps in game pls help me thanks

Cortex v9.4.17.1004, Windows 10 pro (64bit) When I click the play button in "My Library" screen, cortex will apply boost settings and start 'game desktop' mode, but won't launch any of my games (most are Steam games). I'm left with a blank game desktop screen. I can then use ctrl+alt+del and then use the run dialog to start the game, but then cortex disables the boost features. I don't understand what I could be missing here. This has been an issue on both my previous, as well as new PC. Combing through this and other forums hasn't provided a working solution as of yet. I just want to use Cortex to launch games with an absolute minimum of background Windows processes.

Before every time that I launched a new game I would see Game Booster start up and its icon at the bottom right of the screen. Now I don't see that anymore; has it become invisible?

I get the notification when launching CSGO or PUBG.. but after playing a bit no points are credited. I'm about to reinstall and see if that helps. It's been working for years and all of a sudden just stops, weird. Server-side issue maybe?

It used to work but now it's not launching my games when I open them from the cortex library... I've tested with sekiro, warframe, and killing floor 2 Edit: I removed all my links from the cortex library and searched for games again, only monster hunter world recovered and it's working now. The others can't even be found and cortex doesn't launch them if I add them manually. Dying light is working, but that's a fresh install.

I wanted to play Roblox just to get Razer Silver, but nothing showed up under the supported games section, and I was never rewarded silver for playing an hour. Can someone help with this?

Does anyone know when the ptp games on mobile cortex will change or when the polls come out? Because its been the same games for some time. Thanks in advance.

Already did all trouble shootings recommended by the agents on costumer support such as cmd ip address and proxy reset plus disabling firewall and antivirus still cant download it it gives me an error server access unavailable please check your network connection internet working perfectly fine and every other razer software im able to install without any issues please fix

To day i opened my Cortex as usual went to the rewards section and noticed a new option 'login to Cortex daily, or a return of an old option, if you've been here for awhile. As you can see there is currently no image for this, an furthermore if i try to access it i just get a white screen. Is anyone else experiencing this or anyone able to confirm that the daily login will be making a return?

It used to. It did like a few times and then it just stopped. I've googled. I've searched, I've uninstalled, rebooted, resinstalled. I've sang, I've danced, I've even excluded it from my Antivirus. Razer needs to update Cortex to work with UPlay and The Division 2. Thanks (Does anyone read these forums?)

How to disable in Gamecaster option ? i cant find it in the new version

Is there any chance you guys can or are going to add support for the windows 10 store games? As more and more game release there would be nice to launch them though razer cortex. and if you ever bring back gaecaster would be nice to record them as well.

Yeasterday I ended up not being able to play at all on my computer. After a bit of digging, I found out that RzKLService.exe is seriously leaking memory. Looking at task manager, I can see a lot of nonpaged pool memory on RzKLService.exe process. Just killing this process freed up 2Gb of MAR (out of 8 on my computer) and allowed me to play again. I searched this forum and found out a lot of threads about this issue, some quite old, all being closed without any explanation or solution. At the moment, the best way to free memory on my computer seems to be "kill the memory booster thingy" but I'm not sure this is the way it is intended to be used ...
