My name is Alessio,i am Italian and i am a new owner of a blade 2015 GTX 2070. I already put this post on the section "support" but none could reply to me so...here i am (again). *To the mods :if i am doing something wrong,i apologize in advance! i am quite new about "Razer's conception" of driver support and so on so...here are my questions : 1) let's say that a Bios update is available : where should i download it from ?...because on the main page under the voice "support" they say that just the windows update is enough about updating drivers...but what about bios? 2) front led indicator :what i saw until now * - laptop powered off : no light at all - laptop powered on and under charging :no light at all - laptop blank screen (screen saver ),close the lid, sleeping mode: white led blinking - powered on the laptop, wake up from sleeping mode : green led (1 second) i still did not have the chance to see the red one...and do i miss something ? to who knows more than me what i
Does anyone know if the UK version will back light the function keys? I'm ready to buy, this will be my 3rd razer. So frustrating that it's been claimed to have been fixed but the UK hasn't been. Ash
I plan on using a laptop to run the following software simultaneously Serato Pro - specs here: https://serato.com/dj/pro/downloads?systemrequirements#system-requirements Serato Video - https://support.serato.com/hc/en-us/articles/204865694-Serato-Software-Operating-System-compatibility Open Broadcast Software - https://obsproject.com/wiki/System-Requirements Chauvet Sound Switch - https://www.chauvetdj.com/products/soundswitch/ The question is, does anyone see any difficulty I might experience running these four pieces of software simultaneously on the Razer Blade 15, I know the system will handle each piece alone easily, but my concern is I need these to run at the same time on the same system in a live environment. I plan on purchasing the 15 with RTX 2060 Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks
I initially planned on buying a Razer Blade 15 with RTX 2070 Max-Q and 512 GB SSD this week until I found out that the local Microsoft Store ran out of stock. Later down the line, I read about how the Razer Blade 15 can come with either the LG panel or the BOE panel. The BOE panel appears to be riddled with problems related to changing refresh rates whereas the LG panel has been featured in reviews for being a great panel. This is important to me since I plan on lowering the refresh rate down to 120Hz since I play fighting games which are locked at 60fps. Before I make my purchase, are there ways to identify whether the laptop has a BOE panel or an LG panel? Would the product number or serial number help identify this? Are there other panels aside from LG and BOE that I should know about? $2599.99 is a lot of money and although the laptop appears to be an amazing product, I would rather not be a victim to cost-cutting practices by ending up with a cheaper and more problematic panel t
ciao to all guys! So another thing that i noted is that while everyone (recently i also watched an interview on yourube toma marketing manager of Razer) issaying that the ne blade model can arrive to 64 gb of ddr4,has anyone saw what is wrote on the paper manual inside the blade box?.."update max to 32gb"...so what is true..and what is false?....thanks again for the patience!..
Hello, Wondering if the Razer blade base model with the 1060 and dual hard drives will support 2400: https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820232156&Description=32gb notebook ram&cm_re=32gb_notebook_ram-_-20-232-156-_-Product Reason being is that the work I do benefits from lower CL. Speeds are negligible and 2400 is cheaper. If not I'll have to get this: https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233989&ignorebbr=1 Their site says 2666, but the i7 8750h says the 2400 should be supported. So i confuse Thanks!
After doing everything support had me follow, it has come down to RMA, as laptop worked perfectly fine playing games,( expect some games like GTA5 and COD BO4 not being able to run in native res at 144hz, I hope it all gets fixed!
Hello, I noticed that the new upcoming Razer blade 15 will be able to accept up to 64gb of SODIMM memory in dual channel. The thing is I can find nowhere where to buy these products, I saw here and there that samsung was planning to release 32gb SODIMM modules but I can't find where to buy them anywhere (whether in Europe or the US). I really need that amount of RAM as I'm working in AI and 32gb if very limiting for me. Thanks.
I currently have a desktop I built myself but I want something with more portability around the house, I have two stories and hate to be confined to my office all the time. My current PC is equipped with a core i5 OC’d at 4ghz and a Asus GTX1080Ti with 16GB RAM 256GB SSD. I am aware I will be taking a performance hit with a laptop nor do I wish to spend 3000 on one. I will be Using an external monitor currently have a 4K 60hz and a 34UW AW 120hz. I might sell those and get a 27” 144hz monitor. I play mainly FFXIV and other games like Overwatch and COD BO4 at times. My question is if anyone has any experience with the 15” blades and FFXIV and what sort of performance are you getting both normal and raids/Eureka type content. Also I notice the 15” advanced version has no ethernet port. Also how is the cooling? Are the 2019 models with 20** series that much better than lets say last years for my current needs? Thanks!

Hi all, Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere, I'd be grateful if someone could direct me to the reply. I have recently purchased a Razer Blade 15 1070 Max Q design and I am having connectivity issues when I try to connect to 5GHz wifi. The adapter fails to connect and automatically reconnects to the 2GHz signal. I have updated the wifi adapter drivers today (22-02-2019). Is there anything else I can try? Thank you.
Alright well I am so excited, tomorrow will be the day I order my Advanced Blade 15, but here is the question. Buy it from Razer and if so how long do I have to wait or Amazon Prime and see it by Friday? Thoughts?
Currently in the market for a new laptop. I still have my laptop I bought when I went to college back in 2011. So anything will be a great upgrade. I know I want the 4K model. Any gaming I do would be at the casual level so don't really care or need the faster refresh rate. But I'm trying to time it right... I heard of the 4K OLED that was shown at CES, but with no mention of release date. Outside of some sites saying it would be available in 2019, while some said Q2 2019. So now the debate. Buy the 4K model when it gets restocked or wait it out for the release of the 4K OLED version?
Hoping someone can help, I've done a bit of a search but coming up blank :( I'm looking to find out what docking station would be compatible with the Razer Blade Pro (2018 4k) to run two screens (ie. the laptop screen + 2 more). Not bothered about latency (won't be used for gaming in this setup), would just like to be able to power 2 extra 1080P screens along with plugging in the external speakers, external drives, laser printer/scanner. Don't mind if it doesn't power it either, great if it can, but not essential. Are there any compatible Thunderbolt docking stations or even USB3 setups? Thanks for any info.
Underclock or Overclock guides to the nvidia 1060 or 1070 MAX Q for cooling or more FPS After spending some time working out the MSI Afterburner interface and what you can actually do to the Razer Blade 15, I have started a series of upload tutorials. Here is a link to the play list for convenience. www.youtube.com/watch?v=S1OHuLpaq-k&list=PLA31rku1BK2pfklo7_cBMDCih1Pyu_zOY Part 1: Introduction. See what you think
Heya, couldn't find any answers anywhere but was just wondering if you guys are planning on restocking the Blade Stealth Quartz edition? Got someone the whole collection (literally) except the damn laptop because I was too late to get my pay haha. It's cool if not, guess I gotta pay an extra thousand to some re-seller, but just wanted to try my luck first. Cheers
I just got my new Blade 15 RTX 2060 in. Amazing. I cannot say how impressed I am with this computer. Without a doubt the best built system I have ever owned. It honestly feels better than any MacBook that I have ever owned. Just perfect. When playing Fortnite I have to say that this thing gets really really really hot to the touch. You can't hold your hand on the machine nearly the screen and even the wrist rests get hot. Yet amazingly the CPU temps never go above 80C and the GPU never above 70C. Does it get so hot to the touch because of the Aluminium? Those temps won't cause anything to fail correct? Just getting comfortable with a system getting that hot to the touch and it not being an issue for the internals. Additionally the fans really aren't that bad. I have to say I am surprised how they aren't really that loud.
I got the RTX 2060 model a week ago, the thermal is not as good as I learned from the online reviews, in which the CPU never hits 90 celsius and GPU usually gets 75 celsius. During stress tests and gaming, the CPU stays above 90 celcius and and GPU gets 80 celcius. Is this normal?
I had my Razer Blade 2016 (GTX 970M) since its launch and it has served me well in those years. Had a lot of fun time gaming and everything, and used it to its potential in engineering applications in college as well. Bad thing is, the battery got massively inflated, I'm talking about 30% bigger. One of the corner screws popped out of its hole and I have no idea where it is. As I tried to open it, the other screws practically flew out on the bottom side. Seeing that its been a good 2,5 years, I am wondering if getting a replacement battery is worth it at this point, or if I'm better off buying a new laptop with updated cpu + gpu. I removed the battery out of the laptop and pretty much just sitting connected to UPS power so I don't damage the laptop. Honestly have no idea what to do, any and all help appreciated, thanks.
I'm looking to buy this adapter: https://www.ebay.com/itm/USB-3-0-Pcie-PCI-E-Express-1X-To-16X-GPU-Extender-Riser-Card-Adapter-S4Q9/253672381838?epid=14015414669&hash=item3b100d5d8e:g:vVEAAOSwcF1bF5d4:rk:1:pf:1&frcectupt=true to connect a GPU. Will it work on my Razer Blade Stealth 2016 with thunderbolt?
Razer Blade RZ09-1171e51 was produced in what year? thanks in advance. Jay
Okay, so I totally get that the fans are loud in general. It makes sense; its a thin and light device packing in so much power. I'm also not talking about the fans revving up when not gaming. I get plugging your device in offers turbo boost thus your fans are bound to come in and out even while reading nothing but a word document. what I'm curious about is the high frequency sound that accompanies it. the fan itself is low(low rpm) naturally because I'm not doing anything, and it comes and goes as I browse(once again, no problem unless this isn't normal too =0). listen for the high pitched siren. just so you don't confuse static noise for fans, here is a video of my laptop when the fans are not spinning(plugged in) either way Im planning on stopping by the MS store but wanted to know your input
Morning guys, so last week i got my Blade 15 and being that type of guy who wants his stuff to match, i really wanted to get an original Razer bag or sleeve or whatever. Checking all the reviews and videos on the sleeve, it was a no-go for me. I mean, this machine is a beauty - it dont wanna bulk it up, i wanted a tight fit. After a week of ordering literally anything (17 neopren sleeve, 14 armor case and so on) i just found the perfect solution. Get yourself the Razer Destructor 2 mousepad - why? Simple: the case delivered with it not only screams QUALITY! it also fits the Blade absolutly perfect. Plus: u get a free mousepad with all orders ;)

I just got my RB15 Advanced RTX 2080 and it is definitely the best gaming laptop right now, totally mindblown. The only issue I have is with the battery life of the laptop, when on battery mode and power saving mode I am only getting 2 hours max (based on the battery settings notification). I tried tweaking around with ThrottleStop but not much improvement on battery life. How much battery life are you guys getting with the RB15 and is this normal? If you have other solutions, please post too. Thanks
