The mic mute button on my Blackshark V2X isn't working, should I use the included Wiresplitter to make it work or should I return the headset?

I will start this post by saying ive been using razer products for about 12 years and have been a dedicated fan but, this product broke me to start ive got my first pair (had to get another one) about 9 months ago, and i will say, it was the most enjoyable gaming headset ive owned and the haptics are really cool and fun when you get used to them, and they worked perfectly, but then comes the problem, the first set i had had the plastic part holding the earcuff crack and eventually break due to pressure being exerted onto it from an inside spring, which made my warranty null when i took it to the store, a bit later on the battery stopped working and it wouldnt charge or turn on, i had to open the headset up and fixed it which kept it alive for one more month before the battery died completly and i ended up with a 200$ headset shaped decoration but, i liked the product in its glory days so much i decided to buy another one, problem is, this one works even poorer then the last one, less

What are the best settings for the Razer Blackshark V2 Microphone? The microphone quality sounds worse than my previous headset, and I would like to know what settings I can use to make it sound the best. Thank you!

So when I try to change my Razer Blackshark v2 to speaker(7.1 surround) it doesn't work but another output works. It detects the soundcard only but not the headphones so maybe that's why the 7.1 surround sound app won't work. Or do I need an activation code for it. This is the first time handling Razer audio stuff.

Hello, I just bought the Razer Hammerhead wireless earbuds and after charging them until the green light of case turned on i tried to used them. Everything was great except the fact that after 5 seconds the left one said low battery and turned itself off automatically. I charged them again and the same thing happened. The right one is working perfectly fine.

Hey, did anyone change the Battery on the ManO'War? Is it even possible to Change? I love the Headset but this Battery is giving up its life after 3 Years. Need to Charge for 21 Hours to get 2h of Wireless use. Thats Stupid Greetings, Giulio

I have tried filters and watched a lot of videos, but everything is for usb mic's and I can't get one of those yet. Hi all! I have question about power button - do you have any problems with it? I bought my headset in on of the biggest eletronic sellers in Poland - after a 1h of use i heard a wobbeling sound in left earpiece - after a short inspection it was power button. Next Day i exchanged my BlackSHark to a new pair. And when i got home i had the same problem. Today I made a full return - and order the 3rd pair in another shop. Is it normal or i just had bad luck? Hi there, Not sure I'm in the right page or not, but I bought my BlackShark V2 Pro a couple of days ago, I noticed straight away a wobbling sound from the left earcup, it didn't take me long to find out it was the power button. It is so loose that it make sounds when I turn or shake my head, it is super annoying and ruining my experience, you can feel with your finger that the button is loose and make ticking sound just by touching it. I throw key words into google and saw multiple reports regarding this loose power button, it seems it is a global issue happening in different countries, can't believe Razer didn't recall this product. I just want to know does it help by contact Razer support? Very disappointing right now!

Hi ive stumbled over an issue with my Razer Kraken, I bought these yesterday and ive downloaded the 7.1 program from Razer only to get it coming up with a warning tick. that lets me know i have to choose which output i want 7.1 to work on. This is where things go wrong, i can't seem to have 7.1 as an audio source. Ive checked sounds and went under advanced etc but i can only select Windows spatial sound nothing else. do anyone have any idea to what i can do to fix this?

Hi, i bought Razer Blackshark V2 PRO (wireless) and they sound great but synapse is a joke !!! I want to use THX SPATIAL AUDIO from synapse3 but its turning off in some games like Destiny 2. The slider is ok in the synapse, but the sound in the game changes and I have to turn off thx and then turn it on again so that the thx sound is available for a few seconds and it's turn off again... but slider indicate that thx is ON all the time. I downloaded the THX SPATIAL AUDIO app for 15 days trial and it's great, in this app i have a lot more option than synapse and sound don't turn off in games.Also the sound quality is much more deeper and better in my opinion than through synapse... I contact with support but they told me to restart pc, reinstal everything bla bla bla. Today i reinstal my system and I thought it would get fixed, but not and now i can't use THX app becouse of message " You can't use THX with this device, please use synapse3 app for Blackshark V2... Razer why ?!

I've been trying to get the fallback option in Synapse to actually work for awhile now. I've had a case open with Razer for about a month now and they keep asking the same questions in a loop. They actually split my case into two different ones.. then closed one and created a new one so now it's really confusing. Anyways, I assuming the fallback option in Synapse is supposed to re-route audio through another device in the absence of the headset; however, this has never happened to me. I've tried using Optical connection, USB connection and 3.5mm connection types and they all don't work. I'm disconnecting my headset by turning it off and then producing sounds through music or Windows Audio tests and nothing comes through if my headset is off. The only thing I've found interesting is that the feature works if I completely remove the USB wireless receiver, but I hope that's not what the Synapse means in this case.. that's a little cumbersome. Anyone have the same problem and able to solve

Hey everyone! Around six months ago, I made the decision to purchase and use the Razer Blackshark v2 as my headset for my new pc. I've mainly played fortnite in the time since buying the headset/pc as it's my main game but have also played some warzone and a few other games. A consistent issue with me especially for fortnite is that I simply am never able to hear proper footsteps/pin point any locations which often leads to me not hearing enemies positions properly and sometimes not even able to pinpoint gunshot locations. About a week ago, I was looking through all my different settings to finally try to figure out what the issue was, it turns out my THX spatial audio wasn't even on and my THX spatial audio headset option was disabled. Since then, I've obviously turned THX spatial audio on, I have my main output device on Windows 10 the THX spatial audio, I made a profile on Razer Synapse which I then switched to manually setting custom modes for each application (I'm just working on

Hello, I have had my Razer Opus headphones for ~8 months now, at about month 6 I noticed one side of the headband extension becoming loose and not clicking into place at each step, now I can visibly see that the plastic housing (on the headphone side not the headband) has split at the top and no longer clamps on the metal extension band. Is there a way to repair this? I've tried contacting razer support but they claim it's customer induced. I have no idea how I could have induced this as at 200GBP I am very careful with them. Hi, I just purchased razer black shark v2 x Today. but I can not see its audio controller Equalizer. i installed and activated 7.1 but the main issue is its bass is loud in-game which creates a headache. i want to control its settings. I check online but THX is paid version. is there any other option to control this? Thanks

Literally ever since I bought the Kraken Ultimate just for them to honestly be the worst headphones I've had, their profile never saves, it constantly resets and the sound quality is terrible because the bass makes the vocals and sounds fade out, then when there is no bass its pure vocals that are way too loud, fix your programs and equipment, I've already requested for help and y'all did nothing, shits broken 24/7 and I've had it for over a month, I literally only listen to music and play Valorant at most, and the headphones still sound different every fucking time, like why do I need 4 different speakers for my fucking headphones, only 3 of them actually work and give audio out, but none of them sound like how the headphones should sound.

So I’ve been loving my new Barracuda X, but for some reason when I have the dongle connected via usb, the sound comes through perfectly, but the mic input won’t stay on for the headset. I got to audio devices, switch the input to the headset, it’ll work for a second and immediately revert to none or ps4 camer mic. If I plug it in with the 3.5 mm Jack works fine but I lose the spatial audio. Help

After just less then 6 months the top disc of the remote starts to "wiggle" And the light is shinning on the side Is this a common problem ??

I've attached a photo for my issue with thx spatial audio game mode. As you can see clearly that by default the position/directional is not correct and also it is only showing 5 channels instead of 7.(The 2 rear channels are overlapping) This issue is only at game mode. Music and Movie modes are perfectly fine. I am using black shark v2 pro. Kindly advise is this an issue with the software and will be fix by the next update or is there anything I can do to fix this. I already tried clean uninstall and tried it on another computer but the issue still persists. Thank you and hope to hear from you.

Got a problem with a new set of Black Shark V2 Pro Wanted a wireless option for headphones, (with no or a detachable mic) as I don't use it. the headset works, wired at-lest, (either using a single cable or using a sound dock. it works. ) Razer Synapse is not picking it up. It will not work wireless. I have restarted, un&reinstalled Synapse, u&reinstalled the Drivers for the device. Tried multiple USB ports & a different computer all-together. all to no end. think its the Wireless receiver? any Suggestions? Thanks! (Note: I have put in an RMA through Razer to get a new one) but I'd like to trouble shoot this further if anyone has any ideas?

Everytime my microphone is in use, weather is discord, teamspeak or simply in the "sounds" option in widows menu, im hearing a fading beeping noise every few seconds Thanks in advance for any help

Recently just jumped into KTE from Kraken v2 and I gotta say for 100 bucks I don't feel impressed. Overall through the course of a week right now I feel they are great movie watching headsets and not gaming ones. I don't have a lot of experience with Synp 2 besides my keyboard and mouse and changing minimal things. Right now my main games are Modern Warfare and Ghost Recon, Battlefield V, games along those lines. I have to say the most depressing thing and either underwhelming or overwhelming thing to me is how useless the positional hearing/ surround sound setting is on the KTE headset and how Synp seems to not have any real answer to it besides switching to game mode, as well not being able to get a dialed in amount of bass. It seems game mode though feels better I feel there is still to much bass and movie like over giving vital info like footsteps. Kv2 seemed very good at giving me an idea of where people where to me, I had more options it felt like at least software wise where I
