I have 3 webcams at home: Logitech, Microsoft and the Kiyo Pro that I got this past week. And the Kiyo is the ONLY one that, sometimes, disappears on me. Or tell me that "it is already in use by another application". I searched everywhere for a solution. The driver and software (Synapse) is so poor, slow, and really bad. I will try for a few more days or this baby is going back. Today I was doing my Zoom conference and the camera quit on me. I Got my Logitech back there and it was great. Image quality is not as good, but solid operation. And yes, I already uninstalled and reinstalled Synapse, upgraded firmware, all that jazz (I'm a system operator, computer science major, very comfortable with these things) but this camera is still refusing to work.
While not officially supported, website states that it does not work with osx, the latest version of of osx does support the ripsaw hd. You can ignore the lagged frames as I was just doing this on battery and did not change the screen resolution. See attached screenshot.
I just recently upgraded to the new Asus G14 from an Acer Swift 3. After messing around with a lot of settings I got it to work on the old laptop. but as soon as I switched to my new one I get no sound and no video. and occasionally it wont even show the capture card in streamlabs. For something that is suppose to be plug in play it definitely is more than a hassle. I've looked everywhere online to fix the problem as this is messing with my income as a content creator. If i cant find a fix soon or Razer fixes the problem I'll probably just end up buying a different capture card with less issues. also i am trying to capture from a xbox series x and my xbox one. neither one would show in streamlabs. so i believe its either a ripsaw issue as its not the first time I'm dealing with this. or its a streamlabs issue but i doubt that since other clients like obs have the same issue.
With the introduction of the Elgato Wave line and the Wave Link software basically being a virtual goXLR. I'd love to see Razer come out with similar software for the Siren series of mics. Currently running a Siren Elite, and I gotta say the Wave mic is looking very tempting.
Since I am not given a way to contact support, by phone, email, text, or chat. I am directed to this forum. Can anyone provide any help with my Kiyo Camera. I went to adjust it and it basically came apart into several pieces, seemingly the glue holding the base and the dial is not holding it together anymore.
So im in the need for a new mic, iv'e done some looking into both mics, and while i don't record anything professionally, i only stream occasionally and game, here is why im a bit on the fence. I have extreme jaw issues and neck pain from bad jaw clenching, in the past ive owned i believe a. hyper X headset and it increased my pain in my jaw due to the pressure from the headset on my joint. Im unsure and have never used a razer headset before and would like to know if the pressure on a kraken is just as bad if not worse. so far im leaning toward a seiren but would like some more opinions from those who know razer better than i
Well, realistically one, but two would be nice. 1. A high quality DAC. I know it would be a lot to ask for a PCIE sound card, so I'll settle with a DAC. There are a lot of great DACs on the market, but I feel that this is an area that Razer should explore. I will always prefer hardware over software control. Something along the lines of the Mixamp or if they wanna go big, like the Sound Blaster AE-9 DAC (without xlr input). What I would like to see in this is the versatility and inputs of the Mixamp, but with better audio and amplification. Now what would make it huge, is if it is made to work along side the GOXLR or other audio interfaces. Which goes into my second point, which I feel Razer could really shine (if they don't cheap out on it), especially if they could do usb passthrough. 2. A GOXLR competitor. A Razer mixer. Something hardware and easy to use/control. And this is truly why I put this post in the broadcaster section. Mixers tend to be huge for streamers. Between audi
Hi I just received my new razer kiyo pro and it seems to be working on zoom and obs but I can't seem to find the setting for it on razer synapse. I can't adjust it to HDR mode if the settings don't appear in synapse. Is there any fix for this? Thanks in advance
Hi, I am thinking of getting the Razer Ripsaw HD Game Capture Card and set up like this: Plug HDMI out from Laptop in to Razer Ripsaw HDMI input Plug my headphones into the Razer Ripsaw Plug the Razer Ripsaw HDMI output into my 1440p 144hz Monitor Plug the Razer Ripsaw USB into a PC dedicated to streaming My questions are - Will the Razer Ripsaw do 1440p 144hz Pass through ok? Will I hear gameplay and be able to talk on my mic plugged into the Razer Ripsaw? (Discord on the gaming pc) Or, do I leave headset plugged into laptop and use some software to mirror sounds between headset and the HDMI output? Note I don't use laptop screen at all it is always turned off. Reason I am looking into a device like the Razer Ripsaw is because at the moment I am streaming WoW off my laptop but it kills my FPS in game a bit. Want a solution where I offload streaming to my spare PC. Thanks in advance to any advice you can provide!
Hi everyone! I just bought a Razer Seiren Emote, but I can't seem to make the emote work. Synapse = Installed and Repaired Chroma Connect = Installed Streamer Companion App - Installed **I tried running all as Admin When I go under connect in Synapse, nothing is showing (Blank) When I open The companion app, it opens a webpage showing my Razer ID (https://razerid.razer.com/account/?l=en) Now I'm stuck here. I already linked my FB, Google, and Twitch..Still no luck, Please help :( Thanks in advanced!
So let me explain my situation first as it might differ a bit from yours. My setup is PC-Ripsaw HD-PS4. I didn't have a 3.5mm headset, just my Razer Kraken 7.1 V2 which uses USB and was connected to my PC. So what I wanted was, to hear my PS4 audio through my headset via my PC. But that doesn't just do it by simply connecting your PC to your Ripsaw to your PS4. So in order for you for this to work, your headset needs to be connected to your PC, which I hope is possible for you! I have 2 monitors and I just hooked up one to be my PS4 monitor whenever I want to play on PS4 so everything for me is close to each other. Now on to my workaround. I use a software called: VoiceMeeter Banana: https://www.vb-audio.com/Voicemeeter/banana.htm. It's free software. You might want to download their virtual audio cable as well, so you can expand some things, though for this solution it's not necessary. If you have a huge setup with lots of software and want to fully customize, you could get VoiceMee
I'm using a Ripsaw HD to go from my X1X to my PC and then through OBS and out to Twitch. I'm pretty much good on the video end of my settings, but with console games being tricky to get that chat audio to stream, I'm having trouble getting the settings correct. I've managed to actually get the party chat to come through the stream but I cannot adjust the other players' voice volumes. Anyway, I have the Elgato Chat splitter thingy and have it plugged into the Ripsaw. My problem is knowing which audio devices to enable (other than my boom mic.) Any advice would be awesome.
I have a Razer blade 15, and I woke up this morning and after holding the power button for 5 seconds the left side of the screen flickered and then went entirely blank. The keyboard is still lighting up and the the start up sound still happened, however the screen went blank, and I do not have a monitor to connect to at the moment.
I got problem with driver I got the newest driver of Razer Kiyo but in WIndows device manager I got Razer Kiyo but in programs like SLOBS Discord I have named it USB Video Device. To be clear in solution I made change in driver from Microsoft to Razer but it doesn't make it up. Also I remove device with driver. Restart computer plug in again and it doesn't work either. Is there a solution to make programs see camera as Razer Kiyo not USB Video Device?
Hi all. In my old age something changed in my head and I wanted to stream. I am thinking of buying a device for capturing images from the console (I have a Switch, I am thinking of buying a PS5 or Xbox in a while). I tried to find some information on the net and I can't. I like to ask what is the differences? Can I use the "old" version with ps5?
Hi team. I have an issue where I start my computer up. My Blackwidow keyboard lights do not start. It says that the streamer companion app controls the lights as I have have an emote display. I go into Synapse and turn the Streamer Companion App, off and back on to get the lights working again. I don't want to have to do this everytime I turn the computer on as sometimes, I just want to jump in and stream. Has any one else had this issue? Cheers
So I upgraded my setup yesterday, and now I am having problems with my Kiyo. For some reason StreamLabs OBS and normal OBS are no longer picking up my Kiyo. I go into Synapse and it works there but not in OBS. I don't really know what is different today vs yesterday besides the fact I got everything on a M.2 and a internal SSD but that shouldn't be a problem.
