Now, I've seen a lot of threads about the differences between the 2013 and Chroma but none concerning the Classic. I'm unsure as to which one to get, what are the differences beside the backlight colour?

According to the store, the DeathAdder Classic needs 100MB of hard disk space vs 35MB (DA 2013) and uses Razer Synapse 1.0 vs Razer Synapse 2.0 (DA 2013)

So software is the only difference?

I think so, I only own a DeathAdder Chroma :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

  5. I have the classic one, and if you look under the mouse, it actually says "deathader 2013."

Looks like I'll be getting the 2013 then - since it seems to be the same mouse but with nicer lighting and better software :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
