Greetings and welcome to our spectacular community, we're very welcome to have you!! :) :)

As we are growing it seems we have new people come and ask many of the same questions over and over. So, while I realize it can be a little time-consuming to search all the old posts to make sure you aren't starting something we've already discussed I thought I'd create a post to list some of the "biggies" and put them all in one place.

Please Note: While you can find a lot of help here at Razer|Insider, the forums are not a replacement for Customer Service or Razer Support services. If you require repairs, replacments or assistance that could go beyond basic community advice, then please contact Razer Customer Support directly. Thanks!!

    Posting Guidelines:
Search First!!! Please make good use of the magnifying glass icon in the upper right corner and search for topics prior to creating a new thread.

This seems to be a really big issues lately with all the Nabu and Nabu X waves. It is very important that people take note that only posts deemed to be of quality that contribute and are constructive will count towards post counts when pre-registering for events. Please review these guidelines here: [Insider] Qualifying for Insider pre-order registrations. You can also review the general forum guidelines and links to further information here: [Reminder] A tip on posting on Razer Insider

    Introductions:
If you'd like to introduce yourself, then please do so here [Introductions] Hi guys - pull up a chair by the hearth... we'd love to get to know you better! You can also post your introduction as a response to this post, then we can keep this post near the top and help that many more new members with the information. :)

    First Razer Product:

Everyone is always curious to find out where you started out and what got you hooked on Razer products in the first place. It also gives us all a chance to learn about older products and welcome newer folks into fold. Post here Your First Razer and tell us what your first Razer product was.

    Favorite Razer Product:
Another big questions is what is your favorite Razer product? It would seem that we have favorites in every category all across the board. It really shows how we all value different parts of gaming and our peripherals, we'd love to find out what your favorite is here What is everyone's favorite Razer product?

    Favorite in Chroma Line:
We also have a separate thread going on what is your favorite peripheral from the Razer Chroma line. This is inspiring a whole new kind of fan for different reasons, especially since the SDK is going to be open to work with to anyone who wants to give it a try. I see many great things coming in the future. Share what your favorite Chroma peripheral is here What's your favorite chroma product?

    Your Gaming PC Specs:

Another really big question around here is What do you game on? Being the gaming junkies that we are we are constantly curious what others are using and why. It's so much fun to share what we've put together and to learn about new ideas from our peers. This is a thread dedicated to sharing our set-up and showing off our creations. Tell us what you're running here Share Your PC Rig!

    Nabu Quetions:
Last, but certainly not least, we get numerous questions about the Razer Nabu wearable band. We have a separate thread dedicated to all things Nabu and answering those questions. Please go here Everything Nabu: Please Read First!! if that's what you're looking for.

We have many other fascinating conversations going on all over the boards. Things that are just general conversations go in the general area, anything to do with Razer products can be found in the Razer Zone and because there were so many things to discuss regarding the registration waves for Nabu there is an entire forum dedicated just to Nabu. We also have the Game Zone where we talk about what we're playing, new games, old games, what we eat while we're gaming, who we like playing with and so many other things. Feel free to jump in and comment on anything. The are that's probably most important to check on regularly is the Community Announcements. This is where @Razer|Technokat tells us all about new Razer products and where we are given opportunities to win free things. We're a lot of fun around here, so, again, welcome to the community! Pull up a chair and get comfy, this place can be addicting! :) :)

    Useful Forum Links:

Here are just a few random links that could be found useful at some point:

If you want to learn how to format BB Codes it can be found here at this link

The list trophies can be found here along with how you earn them.

@Haltus Kain has put together a fantastic posting about how to use everything in the posting toolbar (bold italics, font size, links, images, smiles, etc) that you can find here: Posting Basics (font formatting, embedding images, etc) and I really think every new member should at least look it over once. :)

We have also discovered that if you want to see when someone joined the forum you can click "reply" to any of their posts and it'll be listed such as this: QUOTE="kajira, post: #, member: 714" So, I was member #714 on the forum. You can also locate this number by mousing over someone's profile picture and it'll be at the end of the link that shows up in the bottom left corner of the browser. So, there's our random trivia for the day. :D

@NazgulStig also put together a nice thread about laptops which can be found here Read Me Before Asking For Laptop/Desktop Recommendation. if you're shopping for a new laptop then check it out.

@Mapsle put together a post for newbies to Razer|Insider with a few other suggestions that could come in handy as well. You can find his post here: Razer Insider - For Dummies

Oh and haha, the most obvious thing: Help (BB Codes & Trophies)
+maybe a few thing s from Random Forum Trivia

Who else remembers a few essentials? Let´s see if we can create the "Full Guide" all together.

Any Youtubers who want to create a How-To Video for the Insider Forum (Parody Style of course!:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:)?

Haha I think she has a pretty good list for how to get started. I just want everyone to stop making a new thread with every little hiccup they encounter with their Nabu. I would add the link to the Razer Support thread, but other than that this is great.

    @kajira the Insider junkie. :D
Cool thread, though it should be sticked to be used in its full extent. Do admins can even?

I was hoping to get a sticky on this one and the Nabu one in that forum, but no dice right now ... so it's just up to us to randomly comment to keep them closer to the top. hehehe

I haven't found anything specific regarding bumping while reading all three posts in the "Community Readme" forum. I think as long as we're tasteful and still at least attempt *some* sort of conversation then we ought to be alright. :)

We should just try to update this post with the important facts from all the Nabu threads .
This way we can reduce the searching-for-useful-information time for us and the new members without useless thread bumps.

I have the link to both this post and the Nabu thread in my Sig line ... so they're posted all over now. lol

To be honest, as much as I love the product, if I hear or read the word Nabu a few more times I might scream. Insider is on Nabu overload and the frenzy is taking its toll on me, haha.

LOL - Oh, I know what you mean. However, while it's getting old to us it'll still be new to someone we can hopefully keep it exciting. :)

@NazgulStig Nope, not pinned / sticky'ed or whatever ... but we can keep chatting on it to keep it bumped up. :)
