So I just created this thread to see what people want/are going to get with black friday deals (which some are going on now!). I personally just ordered a Black Widow Ultimate 2014 (non-choma) from Amazon, for only $100. I also can't wait to see what deals Razer is going to add to their current sales!

Thinking of getting a Deathstalker Expert keyboard. I'd love a pair of Kraken Pros too, but I think I'll save that money for when the Nabu gets released.

I don't really know what to get. I was kinda hoping there would be a sale on newer products. Not a lot I'm interested in. Although, what do you think? Should I buy one of the headsets? I was thinking about the Razer Kraken 7.1 Chroma, but the microphone... Um... Just... No.

@SquidTrooper you know that on the Razer Kraken 7.1 Chroma the microphone retracts and you cant even really see it. just saying. I love these head phones! The sound in crazy!

No, I like the look, I mean the quality isn't good. The advert makes it out to be great but it is noticeably crackly in other videos. I'm not sure if that is an effect of Synapse Voice clarification setting but still, I don't want to rely entirely on that.

@SquidTrooper I haven't noticed any cracklyness. The one thing I did notice was when anything thing that rubs against the cord echos in the cups of the headphones. So all you need is some good cord management.

Since all of my peripherals are still working, I'm getting a bunch of accessories like the Razer Headset Stand and a Keyboard carrying case. Waiting to see what other deals come out first though before ordering.

The headset stand seems awesome and I am in need of a new mousepad. But I'm happy with the deal I got on the black widow (for now).

Well, I can't say I've had any first hand experience with the kraken, but I have seen videos about it such as LinusTechTips and they tested the mic, and it didn't sound good. I wouldn't want someone to talk to me on skype with it. However like I say, it could be an effect of the Synapse clarifier.

Also btw, is it very sensitive? because my headset is waaay too sensitive at the moment, you can hear EVERYTHING! People don't actually believe I am using a headset because it is too dang sensitive! anyway... I could go on about that forever. So would the kraken be a good investment do you think?

I think on Amazon and Best buy the black widow is on sale. Razer has some deals going on now, and they said there will be more. There should be plenty of opportunities!

The keyboard I want is the blackwidow chroma stealth. I had an absolutely rubbish time with razer's support last time I bought from their website.

    *rant warning ahead*

So, I wanted the deathadder chroma and it was available to back-order on their website, so I did that, with international delivery and because I was so pumped for it, I decided to get the faster delivery option. Got the back order email and patiently waited until october, which was the next batch delivery date. A week and a bit into October and it hadn't shipped. So I contacted support. They sent a confirmation e-mail, said they'd be 24 hours... Had to wait more than 48 but fair enough, they probably had lots of messages like mine. They said, wait a week. So I did. I sent another message a couple days after I had waited a week. they took A WEEK to respond! I had ordered that they cancel the order because I would just buy it on Amazon.com. So they said we will send an automatic email to cancel the order... that email never arrived... I could only assume they cancelled because it hadn't shipped after the next back order batch arrived, but I think that service is terrible. When Amazon had failed to get the package to me in the garanteed date, they refunded the shipping charges of £20. Immediately. And no offence to razer... But the rubbish service, the nabu product's communication... I'm kinda starting to see a pattern. Not a word for ages for both. I don't even know what to comment for this. But if you've made it this far, well done :)

Thanks for your patience in reading them. I'm over the whole event but I was mad a razer for a while. You can probably see why. I love razer and their products but this event really annoyed me. I could rant all day. Thanks for you patience, again.

Everyone has different experiences and works with different customer service reps, but I've only ever had good experiences with Razer service. I had to return one of my keyboards for warranty replacement and they made it very easy. Also, I had been trying to put in an order for months and the same two pages would keep reloading but it would never finish the order. I contacted customer service and we had to jump through hoops to figure out what in the world was going on, but they were very receptive, answered in reasonable amounts of time (1-2 days between each e-mail tops) and they kept pushing me up the "food chain" until I was working with exactly the right person. It was very efficient.

Granted, it doesn't excuse the bad experience you had, just pointing out that it can most definitely be better within the same company.

@SquidTrooper I have never had any complaints about my mic from my friends. It does pick up my wifes voice from across the room from time to time. (But she might be the loud one :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: ) Sadly I don't feel like im qualified enough to say yes or no on if its a good investment. This is the first headset I have ever had. (Im a PC noob) But Im loving it. The sound is awesome. (like I said I have not heard others) and the mic works (no complaints from friends) the lighting is pointless. its not like you can see it. Its more to show off I think. The one thing I don't like is because its a USB headset my computer gets confused and I have to mess with the audio setting to get them to work 70% of the time. but other than that.. I love them.

@SquidTrooper You might be just unlucky to meet a unprofessional customer service rep. I never have any unpleasant time with Razer customer service rep. Usually I will get a response within 24 hours (due to the time zone difference, I assume they reply immediately when they read my message).

Let me share you a good experience I had with Razer customer rep 2 months ago. I found out that the ear cushion of my Tiamat 7.1 is peeling off and I couldn't find any replacement part of this at Razerzone. So I contacted them and asked where can i get these ear cushion replacement. They replied there do not have any of this ear cushion in stock and asked me to check back with them in 30 days. After a month I contacted them again about the same issue and they told me that they do not have any ETA time for this replacement part to arrive. So, they suggested me to send my Tiamat 7.1 back to them and gave me RMA for a brand new Tiamat 7.1.

Have faith mate. Razer is an awesome company. Don't lose hope due to certain non-professional customer rep. Cheers!
