[Status update] Blade 2016 shipment

  2. Like I can't wait to see how the laptop will be, since it's my first Razer.
    But I don't get why he's acting a tough guy and doing so much work. It's not his company or where he works (i think) lol

  4. Then you've no right to keep giving your opinions on what a company should and shouldn't do. The point is that customers are unhappy with no explanation and some have even claimed to have cancelled their orders.

    It doesn't matter if it's a sale or repair issue or delay or something, a customer generally will bother and ask and keep plugging away. A company has to deal with it. End of story.

    Addendum -
    While we will welcome constructive criticism, I'd like to caution on baseless speculation that does nothing but turn threads toxic. As mentioned, once we have updates we'd certainly provide them - while you may disagree with the reasons we provide, I'd suggest everyone to take a step back and and construct your replies in a meaningful manner, and I'll be sure to pass these sentiments along.

    1. Short of showing you a picture of the units on pallets moving out, I can confirm that the Razer Blade units are indeed shipping.

    2. Apart from the users in this thread, we're dealing with a much larger demand and it will (as stated on email) take a while for everyone to receive their pre-orders. When you do you will receive an email notification with your tracking number.

    3. While we will certainly work to improve on our communication front, I'd appreciate some understanding and patience, and that we will look to do right by the community we work so hard for. I've been hearing some concerns about the Core code expiring, we will certainly look to extend that - if you have pre-ordered the new Razer Blade, you will also qualify to receive the discount off the Razer Core that will be valid up to 60 days after your product has been shipped.

    I like it when a good thread doesn't die, we just need some house cleaning now and again.

    Well guys, I'm back. Lol. I did cancel my original preorder and currently using an aorus x5s. Unfortunately, there seems to be some build quality issues. So, while I use this, I put a new order in for the blade. I guess that Macbookesque design just keeps drawing me back. Now I wait at the back of the line. I also had cancelled my core pre order so at the back of the line for that as well. Oh well, tis life. At least I can get some work done on this laptop until the blade arrives.

    Good point, i actually don't have a computer, i sold it when i moved to US like a month ago, i had the msi gs70, the quality was bad, had problem with the fans and screen and overheating. I really like the macbook like quality of the Razer, but im still undecided about it cos of the price, delays and pascal...

    I ordered the blade on pre-order but bought a aorus x5s v5sl1 from newegg supposed to ship tomorrow, please let me know what issues you might be having as I can cancel my order tomorrow before it ships, if it's major issues. thanks

    The keyboard backlight is almost non existent to me. It only has two stages of brightness and the room has to be completely dark to see them. The only reason I can tell is viewing them from an angle, you can see slightly under the keys where the led is. Doesnt really shine up through the key. Some driver/fan issues. Fans ramp up and ramp down inconsistently. Trackpad is very stiff when it comes to left and right mouse clicks. Really gotta push down. I switched it over to single tap and two finger tap to overcome that but if you accidentally touch the pad, you start clicking things. And on my model, the bezel that they put around the screen is not very well attached at the bottom of the screen. Seems to be held there by adhesive and is separated away from the machine currently. The OCD in me is going nuts.

    thanks and you have the CAMO limited version? was there support helpful? sounds like I should cancel mine and wait for my blade, which I can't wait for. Tomorrow dell is replacing motherboard and lcd on my new dell precision 5510

    No. Standard black color. Havent returned it yet as im away on business but will still be within my return window when i get back. Camo color just wasnt for me. Support is usually helpful and understanding

    People take these delays personal some of this stuff is too funny
