World Cup 2018

So World Cup 2018 officially started a few days ago! Good luck to all the countries!

Who is also watching the World Cup? Which country are you rooting or cheering for!?

For me, I support Korea Republic (even though their first match was not the best...)

 

Croatia fan here!

Some matches were really intense, like Spain vs Portugal. Currently watching Tunisia vs England.

 

Japan supporter here, can’t wait tomorrow match. It’s time for Asia country to win World Cup

They’re good only unlucky about the penalty, damn monitor review, we won’t see anymore the God Hand

 

The teams considered the best have had some trouble in their first matches. Germany, Argentina... Italy not even qualified.
I support France !
Their first match wasn't that good, but they did win
Spain vs Portugal was insane, I'll be sure to check as many matches as possible.

Yet another World Cup without Norway in it ... sp this year I’m rooting for the closest thing (nope, not Sweden or Denmark) ... ICELAND!!

 

Ooh come on.. Show a little love for Denmark Although it's hard not to cheer a little for Iceland as well, such a small country doing so well against a lot of the big teams!

 

Croatia's game against argentina was amazing. This world cup may finally be their moment !!

I'm happy France will be qualified, even though their first 2 games weren't that good. I hope they'll be able to play at their highest level for the next games

 

I honestly was surprised when Croatia won against Argentina! And it was also 3-0! I think this World Cup will be very interesting...

Germany, that’s champions mentality!! Although with 10 persons could turned the lead. Final Germany vs Japan!!

 

Yeah I saw the game that last goal was amazing, it absolutely saved them. Even when they lose, they seem to dominate every single minute they play. I believe their last game will be against south korea actually.

 

Can’t imagine if he didn’t make the winning goal, every media will claim his early mistake, like Kheidira before... i meant the real final on 15th July

 

Yeah I couldn't hope for a better final. My 2 favorite teams playing against each other .
Croatia finally managed to play the world cup at their highest level, and they have been playing greatly during this whole tournnament, including the final. As a Frenchman, I'm really happy that my team won for the second time, 20 years later. The others teams like Belgium were great too, and it definitely was an incredible world cup.

And who is Rebic ??? I've never heard his name but that guy is huge.

 

He plays for Eintracht in German Bundesliga. He played for the national team before, but back than (as I remember) he had only speed - he was lacking some technical skills.
But now, he showed us that he learned something in recent time and became a really good footballer.
Interested thing, only a month ago Transfermarkt valued him at 10 million €, and now his price is between 25 and 50 millions €

 

Congrats to France, they deserve it after several times success reaching final like on last Europe cup. I'm proud next month our team has competition in French, even not pro they play very well every year and really tough to beat, and they're big and tall (I'm 1,70cm). It'll be nice if we can beat some local team or even win the cup and have feeling beat world cup champion lol
