Mice and Surfaces

It’s only been 6 months since I got this mouse but out of nowhere it suddenly stops responding in either of the two modes (2.4GHz and Bluetooth).  To say it isn’t working at all isn’t exactly accurate as the mouse will still allow some button inputs to be registered if I spam click them (like once every 3 seconds of spam clicking) although after a while it simply stops responding and my laptop considers the mouse as no longer connected. An additional note, the cursor seems to slowly be moving to the top left corner of the screen, seems to be something the mouse is causing as I noticed the issue being replicated when I had the mouse connected onto a different laptop. Some quick googling allowed me to find some potential solutions involving firmware updates. I’ve tried the two firmware updates (one for the Bluetooth and the other for the dongle) and both encounter similar issues stopping them from completing being that the updates can’t proceed due to the mouse not getting detected.  As

Hi,I’ve been playing Fortnite a bit recently and noticed that sometimes my back sidebutton (button four or five I think) was not working for a few minutes. Today it completely stopped working and I’ve tried everything I could find online, regarding the topic. I set it back to factory settings, restartet my PC and even uninstalled the drivers of the mouse. Is there something I can still do to fix it or is it just broken and I have to buy a new mouse? I hope somebody can help me :(

Same issue as here and here. I plug the dongle into my PC, the mouse reconnects every second. I plug it into my laptop, same issue. I put it into bluetooth mode, the mouse works fine, but the polling rate is too low for playing FPS. Bought the mouse roughly a year ago, but the support page says that my mouse is out of warranty and I can’t even start a chat with the support. Tried reinstalling firmware and drivers, restarting the PC, using the pair utility, moving the mouse into the direct sight of the dongle. Nothing works, the mouse is, for now, unusable. Had to buy a cheap wired mouse for the time being and I’m not happy with my situation. If there is anything that can fix the issue, I would very much appreciate sharing that. If not, I’m saving up for a different mouse and probably not a Razer one.

I lost my Hyperpolling Wireless dongle of Viper V3 pro, and I bought a new Hyperpolling Wireless dongle from Amazon, but it cannot connect with my mouse, And I find that Viper V3 pro can only It can only be connected with the wireless dongle it comes with, I bought it from China, can I just claim the warranty and get a new one?

My mice stopped working it was working fine yesterday and today no light under the mice the red light is glowing i can see it under some angle i dont know how to fix it. 

I've had my mouse for a while now with no issues. Suddenly the cursor just stopped moving, the other mouse buttons work though. I've tried updating the drivers, uninstalling & reinstalling, cleaning out the bottom, replacing the battery, pretty much everything. I can't afford to replace the mouse so I'm hoping something will fix it.

everytime i turn on my computer the rgb on the mouse turns off. I know the rgb on the mouse works fine because if the computer is off then its on but when i log in it turns off i tried disabling dynamic lighting and it didn’t do anything and i also tried reinstalling the mouse drivers by deleting them idk how to fix it

Hello,  I would like to ask if there are any upcoming drops or restock plans for the Razer Viper Mini Signature Edition (White).  I missed the last drop on June 21, 2025, and I’d like to know if there will be another drop in November or sometime soon.  Or has the product been completely discontinued?  Thank you!

Has anyone had issues with the number buttons on the side continuously spamming either the 1 or 9 buttons? This has just started happening to me and it is getting very annoying. Tried to contact the support about the issue but it is out of warranty. 

Hello,My Razer Basilisk X Hyperspeed suddenly stopped working over Bluetooth. Yesterday it worked fine, but then it disconnected and never turned back on properly.Now, when I try to connect it via Bluetooth, the only device that appears is “DfuBasilisk” — there is no “Basilisk X Hyperspeed” device listed anymore.When I pair “DfuBasilisk” with my computer, Windows says it’s connected, but the mouse does not respond at all.The blue light only blinks rapidly if I hold left click + right click + scroll wheel (or side buttons + DPI, doesn’t matter).I tried using the official Razer Basilisk X Hyperspeed Firmware Updater, but it only detects devices named “Basilisk X Hyperspeed”. It does not see “DfuBasilisk”.When I managed to start an update earlier, it stopped at 40% and showed the error “Get Region Failed”.Right now, the mouse only shows up as “DfuBasilisk”, and the updater keeps asking to “connect Basilisk X Hyperspeed”.Can you please provide the DFU recovery tool or firmware file (.bin)

Hi,i have viper mini and it just stoped working, yesterday it worked perfectly fine and today no light and nothing. I tried on second pc works just fine, reinstalled windows, updated bios, restarted CMOS battery and nothing works. Is there any possible way to make it work again on my pc?

I just got a Razer Naga V2 Pro and tried to configure it with Synapse 4 on my Max OSX 15.6 Sequoia, running in a Macbook Pro M3. Totally disappointing, the keyboard layout cannot be changed, and the keys from my keyboard cannot be used. Please DO FIX THIS. Cannot have such an issue with an over 200 Euros device. Very, very disappointing.

My razer basilik ultimate is not charging. I mean that when I put the mice on its dock to charge and it’s not charging, and I should find the correct position to start charging it and it will charge the mouse for a minute not more and then I should find another corrects position only for 1 minute of charging (My mouse is only 1 year old)

After updating to Synapse 4 from 3, I am not able to rebind my Basilisk V3 Mouse’s Keys to whatever I want. It changes in the UI but it doesn’t update on the actual device.   

Hey guys am in the market for a new mouse coming from viper v3 Hyperspeed . I really wanna get into lightweight mice and love the design of the viper v3 pro but I don’t think it’s huge upgrade. I was hoping if anyone knew if they are close on a viper v4 release ?

Hi,My Razer Viper V2 Pro dongle stopped working a couple of days ago. I tried plugging it into different USB ports and different computers, but nothing happens, it’s completely dead.The mouse itself works perfectly over a wired connection.Since my mouse is out of warranty, I’m wondering which dongle replacement I should buy that is compatible with it:Razer Viper Ultimate USB HyperSpeed Dongle--->this is out of stock, but will it work for the Razer Viper V2 Pro?Razer Mice and Keyboards USB HyperSpeed Dongle-→ will this work for the Razer Viper V2 Pro?Razer HyperPolling Wireless Dongle --->this is compatible, but I don’t really care about the 4K polling rate. It would be my last choice unless none of the others are compatible.Thanks ahead for your help 😊

Hello everyone, I am a long time Naga user (since the original naga) and before that I had the original dearhadder. Every razer mouse I had lasted me at least 2 years, some lasted 5. I recently purchased razer naga x from amazon. After connecting it to my PC, I found it disconnecting every time I plugged it in,  works for 2 seconds then disconnects completely. Tried everything; including deleting and reinstalling synapse, changing the USB port, using it on other computers,. to no avail.  Is there any fix?

Hi recently just purchased and I noticed the skates are white are they supposed to be white ? On the pictures the skates are black and I bought from razer through Amazon bought the product new 

Razer Basilisk V3 Pro about 1yr old constantly losing connection second or two while in 2.4ghz mode. The device works fine while wired, but in 2.4ghz it’s randomly spotty and unresponsive while it’s struggling to find connection again. Dongle is 13” from the mouse. I’ve updated the firmware and Synapse as recommended from support but issue still persists.The little scroll wheel motor doesn’t cycle on/off while it’s happening... it’s just like it’s not registering any movement. Is the optical sensor on the way out? Do dongles just die?Kinda bummed out that it’s like this about a year in and am currently looking for a replacement from a competing brand.It’s done it twice in the time it’s taken to write this. Become unreliable for use in any game if in 2.4ghz mode.

tested with mouse tester, results showing left/right clicks, side buttons and dpi buttons only registering after pressing several consecutive presses, cursor moves to top left at a constant slow speed. Pressing the keys used to turn on the pairing mode don’t work. Using a replacement 2.4GHz dongle doesn’t get the mouse recognised by the synapse app but does get recognised by firmware update utility and 2.4GHz pairing utility. 

About 2 hours ago, I try to change marcros，but the Synapse 3 was crashed.And it was changed.Then few minutes later, my viper V2 pro turned off and only can use with wire.In Synapse,I saw it has 100%power.When i cut the wire,my mouse close.PLEASE HELP ME

Set my mouse on the charger and went afk for ~2.5 hours (leaving the pc on) and the mouse only charged about 10%, is this normal? What’s the expected charge rate for this combo?

I am not able to register my DeathadderV2X for Warranty. I bought it from Amazon, and it says my serial number is not recognized.

Were to buy ???? Razer Deathadder V2 pro wireless ( im in Canada ) i love the design of the Deathadder but i want the V2 because of the 2 top buttons. help
