Thanks 4K2HD! I replied to your PM.

Hey JuanOlivares. I sent you a PM.

Sent you a PM
I will add, they are striking out on all fronts. Even trying to get the Razer care was a hassle. It didn't work when I put my serial in, had to contact support several times. Several emails, etc. All told, 8 days to figure out how to sell me a service they offer for sale. I'm trying to give them the benefit of the doubt here but it's getting hard.

As was stated before, the device is incapable atm of many of the marketed features, which is false advertisement to say the least, and likely worthy of compensation.

Which marketed features do you mean? Did they state anywhere it will works with the latest Nvidia drivers right out of the box? This’s windows PC not an Apple PC where the hardware drivers is made by their own. No offense but I’m also on Apple Eco, they do great since they do exclusively to their own hardware but on PC world manufacturers should work nvidia intel or even other vendors to make them work together, driver incompatibility issue is common here and sometimes you should wait for an update regardless how much money is thrown on the device. What I learned after using Windows pc, don’t upgrade nor update if it isn’t necessary since sometimes it comes also with issues that might ruins your use experience, look some forums if the update is fine is also not a bad idea.
I might be wrong since I don’t have this blade model and missed some important features that made Blade Pro failed to fulfill the marketing features, in that case I’m sorry. Btw Blade pro 4K 120Hz is one of rarest panel that apparently a lot enthusiast want, maybe due shortage it’s now out of stock. And price discount does any manufacturers now due summer sales, I remember also buying blade 15 back then and a month later it comes like 20% off on retailer I know that time razer Store Made also discount not as low as that retailer though but like 100 or more € cheaper, that’s how technology goes now, discount to clean the stock or if new one comes the old one would have reduced price, not because it has an issue, even with hardware issue (I know other brand that has motherboard possibility issue) they won’t make discount because of it, instead renew or fix it quietly and keep the price unchanged.
I bought a Blade Pro 17" 4k in December 2020 and discovered this thread. I decided to still go ahead and file a Razer support ticket. They had me do all the normal updates (already done) and also asked for a video showing the problem, which is that whenever I select dedicated GPU mode the screen goes blank as soon as I restart and login to Windows. Optimus mode works fine. Anyway, this was the final response from support:

"Upon checking in our system, We are still having some problems with our NVIDIA drivers, We are still waiting for any updates to resolve the concern you're having. We can only advise you to not choose any dedicated GPU so that you won't be having these types of issues."
It was sarcasm that you can buy it at $100 off but you can't update your graphics drivers

Hey shinote! Thanks for sharing this in the thread. Sorry for the inconvenience, the same goes for everyone. The team is conducting tests and investigations regarding the laptop's screen behavior. Please send me a PM together with your case number so I can add it to our watchlist. I appreciate your cooperation.
Im having the same problem. Another issue on an existing list of problems with my new Blade 15 Advanced late 2019. Seriously regretting buying this laptop. Will be posting this thread on other forums too to warn others.
I finally got a RMA to send the laptop in for repairs. But it isn't a hardware issue its a software issue with windows and the nvidia drivers. So im stuck until they fix it.
@Razer.SpeedCr0ss I totally understand you're literally just the messenger here. But given how long this issue has dragged out, and how some people have the issues while some don't, can we get an actual statement from Razer about this situation? What the underlying problem might be? Why a fix is taking so long?

I'll let the team provide an official statement about it. And yes, I'll update this thread as soon I got an answer from the team. Thanks for understanding.

Hey everyone! We from the Razer Insider Team, Support Team, and devs are working hand in hand to speed up identify the root of the issue. The team is asking for your patience and cooperation, especially, if we ask to send your logs and other details from your PC as it will be used during the investigation.

They fixed it on my 2020 15 today. Bios update was sent and and microsoft patch. I installed latest drivers with no issue. Thank god!

Did you send it in? Because I updated my bios to 1.03 and updated windows and still get a black screen after the drivers update.

They are only suggesting using DDU to clean install NVIDIA drivers but honestly I believe other users in this thread already tried this correct?

Hi there! The team has checked the info I posted in your case number. There may be items or steps that they need to verify if it was done or not. I'll report this back to the team.

Hey everyone! Thanks for all your cooperation.

Downloaded all Windows Updates available and the black screen is still an issue... Where did you find this patch?
Any news on the black screen fix?
We are almost in February 2021.
Jscolt, do you mean the LATEST APRIL Nvidia drivers? Please elaborate

Hello, support.
I read in another thread on Razer Inside, that another person also has the same problem as all of us, but even more serious than him, he has the Razer Blade 15 "2021".
This means that the problem is bigger and more serious.
We need you to solve this in the most professional way.

Oof. Yeah. Can you please link to that thread?

I created a case yesterday and the support agent seemed not to be aware of the situation. I pointed him towards the various threads around here. Case 200812-000403
Have a Blade Pro 17 2020 4k and also got into the situation that Windows 10 2004(which was offered by Windows Update) in combination with latest Nvidia Drivers caused dedicated GPU-only mode to stop working. Had to switch to Optimus mode in BIOS and reverted back to Windows 10 1909 for the time being.

So, i just got my Razer blade 15 2020...i am still on windows 1909, am i safe to update my NVIDIA GPU drivers? I still have the April ones.

Thank You

The latest Nvidia Game Ready DCH Drivers 451.67 from July 9th are working fine for me on my RB17 Pro 2020 with Windows 10 1909. Had to download/install them manually from Nvidia. Haven't played around with uninstalling/downgrading drivers as my Windows upgrade experience was enough hassle for me 😉

the issue just come on my razer blade pro 2021 RTX 3080...
When i'm in battery mode, my screen becomes black for any reason.. 3 times today. i've to hard reboot the laptop... it's really anoying.

Hi! Welcome to the "Cult of Razer" lol
No siriusly, may I ask what version of the RBP 17 2021 you have?
The one with the 120 Hz 4k screen? 1080p 300Hz screen? 1440p with 165 Hz?
Does it also have a "GPU Only" and "Optimus" modes in Synapse?

Thanks
Thank you! I will be contacting support.
Support is telling me the only version available is 1.03. Wonderful
