To turn it off completely?
1. Go to synapse -> ACCESSORY -> LIGHTING
2. Near the PROFILE click three dots
3. Add and set the profile's name
4. In this new profile set BRIGHTNESS to 0
4. Disable BRIGHTNESS

That's it. You won't have RGB but it will keep disabled after the PC power off.
At least it was for the last few tries I turned PC off.

Hi, @Razer.Speedcr0ss
Does the dev team work on the real fix already?

BR

There's no latest update for the Mouse Dock Pro and Synapse 3.0. I recommend submitting a case so our Support Team and devs can log the users experiencing this behavior and get their log files for investigation. Thanks for your joint interest.

Could you explain how to set the profile to turn off the lights?

Hi, I have the exact same problem..

Basilisk Ultimate with dock - both devices turned off their lights while computer is powered off (usb power is delivered to charge mouse!)

While Basilisk V3 pro with Dock Pro is not behaving the same way. Only mouse is disabling it's leds while computer is powered off.

The only way to get that Dock Pro leds off is set leds off in the profile so it is nonsense buying rgb device or it is pain in the *** changing profile everytime when powering off PC!

This is definatelly a software issue no doubt about that. With the newest firmware from today problem still occurs. How to solve that then?

Thanks,
BR

have tired everything. Repair, clean install and used razer tools to clean out drivers.

I also have issue with the dock not getting detector something my mouse doesn’t get picked up when booting. I have to unplug and plug the cable every time I turn on my pc.

so many issues with this new dock. Support just keep telling me to do the same thing over and over again same uninstalls and windows repair etc.

Nothing works. They need to update the firmware on the dock so it works like the ultimate dock.

As I said, regarding to the fact that the dock is capable to keep leds off while pc is off and power is delivered. This is definatelly the software issue. The firmware/synapse(?) needs to be updated.
I am also observing issue with the mouse paired with dock not working sometimes while switching between pc and laptop with usb KVM. I need to pull the cable out and in again or switchover again to make that work. So shame that the Razer's flagship product have such a silly problems. This need ASAP fix WTF? !!!

I just upgraded from Razer Basilisk Ulitmate to the v3 Pro and the new charging dock. I’m getting the same issue the lighting stays on when PC is off. My old dock turned off but allowed to charge the mouse.

Why does this not turn off the RGB?

hi

you have found a solution?the problem is solved?
because i have same problem
Hmmm if i turn off usb charging support .it’s for all my usb ports .
And I couldn't use them to charge anything else

Disconnecting the cable is not a solution.

@Razer.Speedcr0ss
I tested different things,
the leds turn off well when windows puts the screen to sleep
If I turn off the led of the dock, and I turn off the pc, the led stay off.
If I shut down the PC with the leds on, it does not detect that the screen is turned off and the leds return to the basic mode (alternating colors)

while waiting to find another solution, since I have a basilisk v3 pro mouse, I will assign a button to modify the profile of the dock pro, on which I would have turned off the led when i want shut down my pc.
I talked to RAZER Support.

For the moment they don't have this feature implemented and they can't say if it ever will be.

For now there solution is:
Bios/Mainboard Settings -> turn off USB power or unplug the USB cable.
Which is totally nonsense for me because charging the mouse when the PC is turned off is the reason (I guess) everyone buys a wireless mouse charging adapter
Same for me
for me too.

My old Mamba Chroma Wireless Docking Station turned RGB off when PC is shut down. The new Mouse Dock Pro won't turn off RGB.

@Razer.Speedcr0ss and everybody else:

I talked to the support team about my Basilisk V3Pro and the new mouse dock. I have the same issues as you guys have:

1. The dock doesn't turn off when I shutdown my computer. The dock is on an externally powered USB hub. If I connect it directly to the PC it turns off... but the mouse obviously doesn't load anymore, which is not acceptable IMHO.

2. The mouse keeps pulsating when I take it off the dock and doesn't go back to its defined lighting mode.

Now, both cases are done now and support wants to exchange both devices. I don't know... to me this still looks like a software problem. Otherwise both devices would be defect? And the devices of everybody else here? I'm kind of hesitating to exhance them both since they work flawlessly otherwise. Does anybody of you guys have similar information / responses?

I see. Thanks for sharing. I suggest undergoing the RMA process since. Our Warehouse Team will also need to check the affected device so they can report it to our Research and Development Team. I appreciate your cooperation.

I have the basilisk v3 pro and the mouse dock pro. I have Synapse 3 downloaded and everything is paired. The only issue I'm having is the mouse dock pro lightning will not turn off when the computer shuts down even though the option is selected. The mouse rgb will turn off, but the dock switches to rainbow rgb and never turns off. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling synapse, but the issue is still present. I just wanted to make a post so hopefully Razer is aware of the issue.

I have the same problem. I thought I found a solution with 2 lighting profiles. One profile with a mouse dock with lighting and one without lighting. Unfortunately, it doesn't work because the PC ignores both profiles when I turn it off and the Mouse Dock Pro stays lit. :eek_:

Same issue here with the pro dock. Dock from viper ultmate works flawlessly.

Were you able to submit a case to our Support Team? If you haven't, please click this link or send me a PM so I can initiate an investigation.

I have the exact same issue. RGB works fine, but as soon as I take the mouse off the charging dock, both go to breathing mode. Turning the mouse off and on again helps. Could you please let me know if you get any news from the support team?

Thanks a lot!

Hi there, I already have a ticket in with Razer support regarding this issue. It is looking to be a Synapse bug. They are working with the engineering team to duplicate the problem and implement a fix.
