I thought they would tend to launch more AMD based laptop

I was wondering if there any chance to reduce the design or make it much smaller for the power adapter without reducing the power supply. I really hate to carry the power brick with me all the time

Hallo there, Blade 15 you mentioned are base model, it’s not similar with amd blade 14, first important one no per key rgb, it can boost some FPS (in your dream depends on Poeple of course:stuck_out_tongue:), second it’s yes similar or maybe better than 5900HX on blade 14 but it consumes more power since 11gen runs mostly boost over amd and more power hungry at the end adding your electric bills and heat, it’s better though on winter usage:big_grin_:, third base model doesn’t support PD per usb C so have fun with carrying the power brick if you brings it often outside, and last one CPU isn’t upgradeable on blade laptops and most gaming laptop;) However it’s great value for the blade laptops, but let’s wait for reviews for example how about display response time etc since base blade 14 3060 FHD has high 20 ms response time, for some who play FPS that’s maybe not great.

Making smaller power adapter will occur some trade off like hot ac adapter resulting it short lifespan, like on old blade 14, honestly i prefer they add usb C PD on all blade laptops so user doesn’t need to bring the proprietary ac adapter for their casual non gaming/ work usage, like on blade 14, stealth, advanced 15, pro and book 13 lines, it’s so good to be able to charging with any usb c power adapter. And for the proprietary ac adapter I want personally bigger ac adapter to support higher gpu tgp, we’re quite a while staying on “maxq“ performance GPUs.

I'm so sad because in UAE we still can find only the 10th Gen I7 version :( I have the mony in the pocket but can't find it to buy, unbelievable:frown_::frown_: I'm still dreaming the day I can put my hands on a 15 with RTX 3080 and QHD display!

I’m the same… I want the 17 inch but they now have qhd but no 3080… wat the fuk.. and also the 3080 on the 17 are only 8gig vram instead of the 16 gig… this is now only available on the 4K versions, and no1 wants more finger prints on the screen and a the reflections
